it does, doesn't it........at first look it reminded me of the lil boat ride at Disneyland where you go around all the little villages

Yeah... I gotta do something nice like this for my backyard... only I'm not a handy-guy with physical labor things... and my spouse and I are very much "happy-GO-Lucky" sorts on some matters... and deadly serious on others. Guess which stance we take on backyard decor???

Whenever I am up in the far back of our yard and look down at the house, I always think it looks like a little cottage, like in Snow White. Thank you all for the complements. Maybe someday some of you will get to see it first-hand. That is unless Disney comes first

:cheer2: Congrats on 1000 Peter!! :cheer2:

Tracy... Beautiful Backyard. I'd buy on that too. We are not landscapers/gardeners so ours always looks like cwap... esp with the dogs running around all the time..... but:
WE HAVE ONE OF THESE that makes up for it:

Pool takes up most of the yard anyway. ;)

I guess I should edit to say

Congrats on 1000 Peter and JENN!! Although I'm sure she only has a few of them to her credit....:rotfl2:

PIT, congrats on the 15 lbs.....which plan did you say you were on? how long does it take? I think I remember you saying it was the induction...are you following it exactly since you are on the road? ...just curious

Kevin just looked at the map (our heavy duty trucker one) and he says he would take 31 it's good road and you will see some nice countryside. I would avoid Chicago at all costs, but that's just my opinion.

Okay- I'll bite, what is your Christian name????

Why it's Scott, of course!

That post and the previous post about the red neck tie, has to do with the JB song, "Everybody's Got a Cousin in Miami"

I've seen several posts re: transferring ressies...what exactly is this about? how do you do it? is there a benefit?

tks!

I got prices today from my TA on the Med. cruise next year! Ouch!! Hey, where is my FL Res Rate when I need it?? No such thing I was told on that route. Not much left on the ship either! Oh, well. I will just have to see what other kind of deals I get on the ship. We just have to book something while on the ship. TA told me that I can actually book it through her while on the ship and still get the "deal" and I wouldn't have to transfer it when I get off the ship! Oh, well, we'll see....

I'm about to run out on a hike and then run over to see acousin for the afternoon - so here's a quick reply (editing in)

So on the transferring thing - it usually is in reference to folks having rebooked their sailing while on their last DCL cruise as doing so earns a $100 cabin credit (on a 7 day) and a 10% discount on prevailing rates. Then having made this DCL ressie some folks then TRANSFER the reservation to a TA who typically adds an additional amount to the cabin credit. This is an easy money routine - and in recent years seems to be the only means of getting any break... as DCL has cracked down on TAs who discount or rebate aggressively. Now they seem to enforce a very strict limti on their pricing as every TA resource I frequent has elimenated promotional pricing on DCL. I don't even see the creative group sailings anymore... so whatever they've done has dried up all the common discounts.

Hope this helps....
