And as such - the Little Mermaind and her Prince shall remain as pure and sweet at the alter as we remember the moment being! :thumbsup2

So while we're poking fun at Disney characters/flicks - may I ask if anyone wants to speculate what's going on here with Mickey?

#2) Vegas or Yosemite, or.... your backyard? <I dare NOT offer the Magic here!>
My backyard!!

The backyard is what made us buy the house. We redid the patio a couple years ago. Best home improvement money spent!

Upon further reflection this morning, I have to agree with Tracy on this one. :rolleyes1

thanks, that explains why our discount this time around was not that much compare to our last cruise

I'm about to run out on a hike and then run over to see acousin for the afternoon - so here's a quick reply (editing in)

So on the transferring thing - it usually is in reference to folks having rebooked their sailing while on their last DCL cruise as doing so earns a $100 cabin credit (on a 7 day) and a 10% discount on prevailing rates. Then having made this DCL ressie some folks then TRANSFER the reservation to a TA who typically adds an additional amount to the cabin credit. This is an easy money routine - and in recent years seems to be the only means of getting any break... as DCL has cracked down on TAs who discount or rebate aggressively. Now they seem to enforce a very strict limti on their pricing as every TA resource I frequent has elimenated promotional pricing on DCL. I don't even see the creative group sailings anymore... so whatever they've done has dried up all the common discounts.

Hope this helps....

Okay....since it's after 5 o'clock.....remember when I said I thought the Diet Dr. Pepper Berries and Cream was good.....I found my new favourite drink.....Diet Dr. Pepper Berries and Cream with some 151 proof white Bacardi rum :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 This probably will be me when I finish this drink  !!!!!!

They are wood steps. Treated so they won't rot. One of the prior owners worked for one of the best landscape companies in town. Our lot backs up on a busy street, but you wouldn't know it, because the yard it tree lined.
Very nice pics Tracy. Where was this at again?

umm aren't there gators in those waters??

Sorry guys, Cleared "cookies" and had to find my password to log on again.

Manatees are most plentiful in the winter time when the come into the runs to keep warm. Spring water is 72 degrees year round so they like crystal river, Blue Springs etc. We live 10 miles from Blue Springs. The road to Blue Springs State park dead ends into the St John's river and you can put your kayak or canoe in there for free. As you may know you are not allowed to molest the animals in any way. However, at Blue Springs, your kayak or canoe looks just like the Rangers to the Manatees. The Manatees will come to you. You may rub their bellies and such. They are very friendly and docile. Even if the Park is closed, you can stay at the end of the "run" and they will come to you. If the park is closed, Technically, you can go down the run into the park as long as you don't set foot on land. I prefer not to upset the State Rangers myself. Not worth the hassle.

If you choose to enter the State park, you pay the toll. There is camping there. They rent canoes. You can Scuba Dive with Cavern Cert. I have done the dive many, many times. It can be very crowded in the summertime and you will not see any Manatee in the summer. Lots of Garr fish. Very clear water and the "boil" is quite visible.

To see manatee, Blue Springs is alot closer to the mouse house than Crystal river. Crystal river is a very shallow dive spot for scuba. Alot of check out dives are done there. You do need a boat there. :goodvibes

Tracy (& Bill)

What a gorgeous place you have....I can see why you love to just sit and relax on your patio...it looks very relaxing and peaceful!!!

are things really that much cheaper? a true non-shopper here :confused3

Like anywhere, just be prepared. Know the prices of your favorites so you can judge what to purchase.

For example, Bob purchased a bottle of Royal Salute...he paid $99...we see it here for $159. We got Tanquray, godiva white chocolate, some of the local island made things. Just depends on where we are.
