Absolutely BEAUTIFUL day here in Chicago. I'm at work again, however, I love working on Sunday....It somehow feels right caring for others on this day.

Hi Celeste- I worked yesterday till 11PM, got to see six new lives brought into the world. We just finished a 16 mile power walk in 3 hour 49 min. in 90 degree temperature. Last Saturday we walked 13 miles on Castaway Cay, and it was quite hot. Are you running or walking the Disney Half or full marathon in January? Alex

Yes we are.

Ken

Hi Ken- You warned me about the sudden appearance of DISers joining in the last few weeks before the cruise. When I ordered lanyards we had 120, so I ordered 160 lanyards. We now have over 180 DISers on the 10 cruise and I found 6 more not as yet on the roster but have been posting. In the future I will be happy to assist you with the name tags and lanyards!

Glad to see your ride went well. I've been trying to convince Carolyn that we need to start bicycling after the Goofy Challenge in Jan.. I'm not sure she is buying it yet. Alex

#2) Vegas or Yosemite, or.... your backyard? <I dare NOT offer the Magic here!>
My backyard!!

The backyard is what made us buy the house. We redid the patio a couple years ago. Best home improvement money spent!

you are giving me an idea for our bubba picture.....kinda like back in the 70's with the even/odd license plate gas lines....hmmm

We may have mutliple submissions, I don;t think they require just one but I'll check into it

Can we put Bubba Keg fillup times on the mini navagator? That way I can avoid the rush and the empty coke machine. :lmao:

CWAP, ya beat me to it, guess that's what happens when you miss a few days on the disboards

Now -

- I'm being quoted but my usual marginalized CC or Capn't Crunch has been reduced to something I dare not enquire about... as what does CWAP stand for? As I shudder with the various interpretations for this... now lets see ... what would the more benign permutations be....

CWAP... Commander of Wise Asian Pirates?

CWAP... Choosey Wired Anarchist of Power?

CWAP... Captain of Wierd Antartic People

CWAP... Chaotic Wild Antelope Poacher

CWAP... Criminal Wessel Assaulting Pedestrians

CWAP... Certified Wireless Anaysis Professional (googled)

CWAP... Creative Artist, Writer and Professional (I like this googled result!) :confused3

OK... so what wuz YOUR intended interpretation???? :confused3

I finally got my Bettis Superbowl XL jersey!! I had tried to get one in Detroit but they were all SOLD OUT!! Actually it was pretty funny, they had this huge shopping section in the tent were they did the NFL Experience exhibition and there was hardly any steeler stuff while there was boatloads of Seattle merchandise...it was kinda sad actually.

Reminds me of that line in Toy Story where Tour Guide Barbie makes that comment about short-sighted retailers didn;t order enough Buzz Lightyears that Xmas...

Alex- Oh...I remember watching babies being born. It truly is special to be there when a soul comes into or out of the world. It's fun to see all the happiness that you see in L&D. (But as I mentioned, I have ADD when it comes to patient care. I need the ICU pace.)

Awesome job on the walk- in 90 degrees :cheer2: Drink up my friend! 13 miles on CC last Saturday- I'm jealous!!! :guilty: I did 13 in Chicago :rotfl2: and got a pretty medal for it, but still not the same as CC. (3 day cruise?)

IF I train properly for the stair events, I will probably run the half. If I don't train properly, I will walk the half. If I am awesomely trained, I might walk/run the full under Robb's (DH) number and let him do the half. He used to run, but seems to have forgotten how to lately and has never done more than an 8K.

Ask me later about running as it gets closer- are you posting on the WISH boards for the 2007 Dis WISH team??

Uh-Huh... I saw that googled interpretation - but I stuck with suggesting the other more benign ideas...
