party: party: party: CELEBRATION!!!

Something is wrong with me. It is not 2 a.m. in the morning!

That's because as of 11:30 last night, the Mini-Navigators have been printed, folded, stapled, and put in envelopes for everyone!

And I've still got 4 more nights before I leave on vacation!

At this point, any changes to staterooms or newbies will not be listed in the mini-navigators and they will be listed on the floor monitors postings!

Yipee. One more thing to check off my list.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Thank you very much for doing this. With all the activities we have, it must have taken AGES to get them done.

:worship: :worship: :worship:

Sweet Sue

I WANT TO BE ON VACATION NOW!!!!!!

ok, now I feel better....

Put me on the injured reserve list coach. Had to go to the doctor to get a sliver of broken glass out of my foot. The deadening process was worse than the glass removal. It was right in the arch of my foot where the heel begins. Had to get it removed, because there was no way I am missing this cruise.

Thanks for clearing up the departure time confusion on my part. Mike

OK... if this is true, then who set the 3PM time anyway? We're gonna have to corer the critter and do something pirates are supposed ta do! What, I'm not sure. Maybe - maybe we'll do what a Disny Pirate ight do and make 'em eat a Mickey ice Cream Bar in my Race! Ah-Ha! There we go!

No seriously, I think we are pretty close to the sail date to make changes. If it is 3 then it is 3. Unless someone thinks we can shift it over 30 - 60 minutes to 2:30 or 2. No harm in that as I suspect everyone is still gonna linger by 3 if we started at 2 anyway - provided we don't get kicked out by security to get our life vests.

And besides - we still ahve the sail-away gathering after the life boat drill IF we have a missed initial on board meet. It will be noiser with the music but - so what? :confused3

The 3:00 meet worked great on this cruise. We had a better turn out than at sailaway. The drill is at 4:00 (hence why everyone needs to be onboard by 4:00) and sailaway is at 5:00. Sailaway party is at 4:30.

A moment of silence from me as well.
September 11th meant something to me a few years before the attacks. My very best friend was killed in a car accident on September 11, 1998 just a month after the beginning of our senior year in high school. She was drinking and driving, ran off the road, hit a tree and was thrown from the vehicle. She died instantly. I had been out with her that night as had my other friends. We should've NEVER let her drive home. I am ashamed to say that we were all very drunk. Anyway, I have NEVER gotten behind the wheel of a car intoxicated since that horrible night. Her death ruined her parents lives. They blamed each other and eventually divorced after 30 previously happy years of marriage. Her father, who already suffered from Parkinsons, went into a deep depression and is not well to this day. Her mother was horribly withdrawn and depressed. She just couldn't get on with her life. I spoke to her on September 10, 2001 to make our plans for the next day (every year since the accident it was lunch then a cemetary visit). She told me that night on the phone that she prayed for God to help her move on. The next morning I learned the news of the attacks while I was in a computer lab at college. I was shocked, as was the rest of the world. I carried on our yearly tradition and her mother, and something WONDERFUL happened that day. She moved on. The attacks made her realize that she was living in the past and that life goes on and that there were much bigger things going on. She now speaks at schools to kids in Drivers ed, complete with pictures from the accident, about the impact drinking and driving has on life. In a weird way, 9/11 helped her heal. :grouphug:
Today, I say a silent prayer for all of the souls lost in the attacks, and all of the family and friends they left behind. May God Bless America.

Hey Guys, Be careful out there, you have a cruise to go on.

Then again could this be a ploy to get on the ship early with chairs or walkers, if it is my story will be that I am with ya, helping push etc....

Seriously, to one and all, get better and be safe, follow to doctors orders , etc etc etc.

Hey Linda, did ya every get your docs???? :confused3

Peter and Jenn, how was the DL trip???? :thumbsup2

Tracy thanks for the updates on your trip. Can we drinkl Bob's wine at OKW and just tell him how good it was. :teeth:

Noticed some new folks on the roster, so to you all, WELCOME ABOARD.....Glad to have ya with us. :yay:

Our phone line is down at home so I hope it is fixed by tomorrow night, JB concert, gotta Phlock.

Lynn get her hair permed tomorrow, I think she is getting the Little Orphan Annie look.

I know I'm missing birthdays, anniversaries and other events going on this week. Sorry, it's a little hard to keep up. I can barely remember things from noon until dinner time (right Regina?) I got a PM from Regina and totally forgot to say something at dinner to someone. Luckily he reminded me ;)

(drawing a blank now).. the guy in Shutters that someone asked about Fl..... ugh! I can't remember. Ends in an O.... He is on the Wonder right now but is not taking pictures. He is the manager. He did not get married yet and was told that any smart woman would run the other way. :lmao:

Castaway Clubhouse party was today. Huh?? What's that??? They started this three weeks ago. The party was at 11:00. We had cookies, rice krispy Mickeys, OJ, Water or soda. Met the officers, saw a little clip from Tom and the crew at Celebration. Had to answer some trivia about the ships and got to know other CC members. Then they gave out about 5-7 prizes (special CC clocks) and then it was over. Had a little fun talking with the officers and other CC members, but were surprised it ended so soon.

I think that is what Bob would want, really....

Ok, so we are 40 miles from Orlando and we are supposed to deliver our load in Miami ant 7am tomorrow! Decisions, decisions, do we park this truck and head to the World? Or do we pout in a truckstop parking lot somewhere? What to do.... :)

No Brainer, say hi to Mickey for us.... :thumbsup2

Can I??? :) :) :)

Sorry - I said I wouldn't do that anymore. Fifty lashes with a wet noodle! Work is a bear and a girl needs to have a liitle fun.

OK - back to the salt mines. Only TWO more days at the office (unless the boss figures out we don't leave until Friday afternoon)!

Only problem is, this is a High Value load that one of us is supposed to stay with at all times. That's where the WHAT TO DO comes in.

OK...

... I'm working on a list of all the kids on the cruise because I'm putting together modest surprise gift(s) for all the kids. So far I see 49 kids on board with our DIS group. Frankly, I'm surprised fow few kids are among the 295 that comprise the group.

BELOW is a list of folks for whom I DO NOT KNOW if the 3rd/4th occupants are kids. AND may I say I can't tell if a child is traveling in a double cabin with no ages or relationship listed from the roster. If the 3rd/4th occupants listed are under age 19 then please let me know via PM and I'll adjust my list and allocate an age appropriate gift.

So, I don't want to miss anyones' kids and below is a list of all the kids from the roster along with parents. If anyone is not on - or if anyone has significant errors listed then let me know via PM. The cabins are in sequential order.

And here is the age distribution among the 49 known kids off the roster. At a glance you can see how many of our group are at or near the age of your kids. Of course - there will be hundreds of kids on board - but this is the DIS distrobution:

Age / Number among the DIS group
1 - xxxxx 5
2 - xxxxx xxx 8
3 - xx 2
4 – xxx 3
5 – xxxx 4
6 – xx 2
7 – xxxxx x 6
8 – xxxxx 5
9 – xxxx 4
10 – xxx 3
11 – xx 2
12 – xx 2
13 - (zero)
14 – x 1
15 – x 1
16 - (zero)
17 - x 1
Great list Capt, I sent you a PM, you missed us as well....Kborn - You know, the best looking family on the roster :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Do what we do, we HAVE to be home by Wednesday because as far as our company knows, the cruise leaves early FRIDAY! Lie and Deny is our motto when cornered :lmao: I'm BOOHOOing as we pass the WDW exit off the FL turnpike. We could lose our jobs for leaving this load. Especially since it's going to some INTELigent people. Yeah. Big $$$. We'd get canned if we got caught. Oh well, I guess we'll be back saturday (or maybe friday night ;) )

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Can I come live with you when we get caught and can't afford our mortgage because we are in the unemployment line and we are blackballed by every trucking company around for leaving a high value load in the Epcot parking lot while we go hang out? If not then the truck swap is not sounding too bad right about now. But it's a little too late now, we already passed by. :sad2: :sad2: I'm going to drown my sorrows in a frisco burger platter from Steak and Shake, and I may live dangerously and have it with THE BUN. I'm only a few days from cruise food loaded with carbs anyway so what the heck? I'm getting last minute cruise anxiety. I need a beer. But that'll have to wait till I get home. pirate:

What? You did not talk Kevin into dropping you off? It's his turn to drive right? He will be parked in the truck stop tonight right? He can drop the load off without you right? You do see where I'm going with this right? You could have gone to the MK and taken a shuttle bus back to POP, ALLSTAR etc. and gotten a room and he could have picked you back up in the morning on the way home...... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
