Elaine are you going to Scott's? I wouldn't mind trying a butter tart or two? I'm trying to decide what I want to bring to Scott's party....dessert or appetizer- or both?

7 hours and counting before kickoff! Do you have satilite radio or are you going to listen to the game online?

ROLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL TIIIIIIIIIDE! (fight song playing over and over again in my head) We have XM and I'm sure it is playing. I never have been able to listen to games on the radio. I have a very short attention span that all the Ritalin in the world couldn't correct so I often need a visual to stay focused. Who are they playing? We are stuck in So Cal (yep, we went all the way to Compton AT NIGHT and the freakin load cancelled on us). I doubt it'll be playin on the local channels here. We are currently in Colton, CA waiting on the guy in the shop to complete our 45 minute oil change that he started 4 hours ago. He's a little slow. Kevin is watching Star Wars:Revenge of the Sith and tring to explain the story line to me as he goes. I'm not much for Sci-Fi. I like true stories.

Back to the Tide, we have friends coming to visit in November that are from DC and want to go to the AL/AU game. I don't want to spend all that $$$ for tickets to watch AL get embarrassed again this year like last. We actually watched the game last year at home and for the first time ever, turned it off in the middle and went to the movies. PITiful, I say

Don't get me started on those @$%&! things! I could stare at them for hours and still not see anything! I swear, to this day, I think it was a massive conspiracy of people against us, and there really wasn't any 'hidden' picture!

They are playing Hawaii on Pay Per View, wonder if you can find a sports bar that might carry it....There could be some Hawaii fans in Cal. I hope you do not have to turn this one off, If the Tide gets beat, I can close my store and go home....Alabama fan's go home and pout, but if they win, I'll have extra $$$ to spend on the cruise!

I've been thinking about this as well. I am bringing the Cheddar Blossoms, but am trying to decide whether or not I should even bring a bottle of something. I have gone to Wine parties before where EVERYONE brought a bottle and a lot went to waste. I was just thinking that I would bring the CB's and maybe some peanut brittle. Is anyone bringing REGULAR drinks, re: water, diet drinks, cokes- we could handle this if needed? I know Kev doesn't really drink a lot (unless it's Corona ) and might just try a little here and there. And with CC's kids coming I was thiking maybe we could pick up some kiddie drinks. Any thought Scott and Lynn? We are driving down in the pickup and could pack a cooler if needed. Let us know...

And Celeste, I'll share my Buttertart Care Package with you (I might need reinforcement to tear them out of Kevin's grip )

Well an extra ROLL TIDE for you then. Hopefully, we'll be out of here with our NEW Atlanta load before kickoff. No hopes of going by the house now though. We can just wave in that direction as we pass it.

He's 16, dd is 19. I WISH he could come!!!!!!! He just can't miss that much school. Believe me he is just as dissapointed as we are that he is not going. But if you can talk your mam into booking the Sept 1-7 Magic for next year he'll be on that one! You'll have fun, I'm sure there will be plenty of people your age on board. If not use it as your time to do things with your mam. I'd give anything to go on a cruise with my mom!

Aw. Okay.Yeah I hear ya. Oh no how ever will I be able to talk my mom into going on another Disney Cruise. Since she sooo doesn't like cruises or Disney Which is a joke. She loves Disney and the Disney cruise. So I'm sure we'll be on that one too. Or at least I hope so. We can't get enough of DCL. Yes I always spend as much time with my mom on cruises as I can. I love her oddles (tons) and without her we wouldnt be doing half the stuff we do. I appreiate(ms) her so much and look up to her she does the best she can as a single mom raising me(19) and my brother(20) I think she's done a pretty good job so far.We've turned out to be pretty good kids..

Hey all! Sorry I haven't contributed much lately. Yesterday was my 30th birthday ( )...my mom thought it would be hilarious to buy everything that had 30 on it at the party store and put it all over my house oh well...I'll survivie...lol The place where I bought the pins just got the contract for Home Depot (you can image how many pins that is?) So I won't get the pins until the 8th and will just carry them on. I can't believe we sail THIS MONTH!!

Lemonade and water are fine with us! I am going to go to the country store that sells the Cheddar Blossoms and find some other locally made snacks to bring. The peanut brittle is made by a company called Gantts Candies. I went to their preschool and the old lady that taught me at the preschool made brittle for every occasion so one day her daughter talked her into selling it. It is GOOD! Old Lady Gantt passed away years ago but her candy recipes live on through her children and grandchildren. I like supporting local businesses whenever possible. I also LOVE anything homemade.

I never did get my pizza Just grilled fish and veggies tonight But I'm gonna tear up some room service pizza on the ship Anyhoo, we are in $^%#@ LA (sorry to offend anyone who lives in So Cal) and the traffic is horrendous! Everyone headed to Vegas looks like. Change of plans, instead of going to NJ we are headed to Atlanta. We are gonna try to sneak by the house on the way if time permits Whats everyone up to tonight?
