I have been ordering things for Lamar's Pirate costume and I've been getting some back order notices. Yuck! Still in need of a good ruffled shirt, pirate pants, and that thingy your sword goes in.

Other than costuming we are almost ready

But, but, but....you don't understand! You travel around all day, every day, with your husband. You see each other day in, day out. My situation is a little bit different....

I fell in love with someone who lives all the way across the country from me. I live on the west coast and he lives in Michigan. He was just here for 5 weeks and during that time I fell 4 weeks (at least!) behind on all my computer stuff. Now he's gone home (until the cruise) and I'm finally able to get caught up -- if you all would just stop posting so dang much!

I really am trying to help organize a few things for the cruise, so I will be posting a few posts tonight. I will try to stay more involved from here on, but real life does get in the way! And I can't read or post from work like some of you do, so if I come home from work to 10 or 20 new pages, well, I'm sure you know how that goes. I spend every night trying to catch up!

So if you don't hear from me on a regular basis, that's why.

Welcome back Beth...

You are so lucky......Cabo was sooooo beautiful when we were there and I can just imagine it at Christmas time....Mom and I will be spending Christmas at WDW this year and we're pretty excited...we've never been away at Christmastime before.

Thanks, Elaine. I was so pleased to learn that you and Leslie will be on the cruise with us!

Harry really liked Cabo a lot. I thought it was a bit desolate looking, since I'me used to a lot of trees and other greenery. But I would go anywhere and do anything for Harry, so we are trying to arrange it. I'm sure the weather will be better in Cabo than in Seattle at that time of year!

Christmas at WDW! How wonderful for you both! I love WDW in December. You'll have a great time, I'm sure. And the weather is bound to be better there for you than in Canada!

Ok, maybe we'll spare ya from the plank! I met my dh on the phone I was a hairdresser and one of my clients' husband was a truck driver and was driving team with my dh. She kept telling me that there was this guy she wanted me to talk to. I'll admit that when I found out he was a truck driver my first thought was NO WAY! She finally convinced me to talk to him and we talked ALL NIGHT LONG the first night. Two months and a BIG phone bill later for him, we decided to meet. We had never even seen pictures of each other, but were both very much in love. We both knew after that 1st night on the phone we had something. When he came into the salon to meet me, I hid in the back to make him think the girl I worked with that had the spiky mullet and the nose ring and the scary makeup was me!!! I think he almost passed out!
Good Luck on you When it happens you just know! My whole family thought I was crazy for quitting my job and going on the road with him but here we are! Almost 5 years later It takes a special person to live with you on a truck 24/7 let me tell ya! He's crazy. When we are out to dinner he tells the waitress that we just met in a cab, on a plane, on the street, etc. What a nut!

There were 10 different kinds of cake. Let me see
*Strawberry cake with white chocolate truffle and fresh strawberries
*Chocolate Kahlua cake with chocolate Kahlua truffle
*Chocolate Chili mousse cake - dark chocolate cake infused with rum and filled with 3 layers of chili truffle and mousse.
*Dulce De Leche - golden vanilla cake with 3 layers of caramel
*Southern Bourbon Pecan with caramel truffle
*Butter Rum with rum custard
*Chocolate Decadence - white chocolate cake marbled with dark chocolate/infused with white chocolate Godiva liqueur and 3 layers of chocolate mousse, topped with chocolate ganache topping.
*White Chocolate Cake with white chocolate truffle and fresh raspberries
*Key Lime Cake with key lime custard
*Chocolate almond Marble Cake with Chocolate amaretto truffle

I only can recite this because they gave us the list..... The one in green is what we think they are going to go with... at least for part of the cake. Each tier can be different. They want the top (the keeper one) to be the Key Lime. But it's not for everyone.

Okay I think I just gained 5 pounds listing those........

Can I come to the wedding???? I absoultely LOVE cake. I'll bring a gift, I promise. There is even a Costco near me, so I can bring you a bottle of Rosa Regale!! I spent nine months talking to my grandson before he was born telling him to make his debut on my birthday, just so I could have birthday cake every year. (He's such a good boy, he listened!! ) Did I mention that I LOVE cake.

My goodness, I spend the weekend with my grandchildren and I have a bizzillion pages to catch up on....Been on here all night just trying to catch up!

Or can ya tell me what page it is on?? Just point me in the general direction and I can find it. (please be more specific than page 1-520)
Gail, so sorry to hear about your dog, I know how hard it is to loose a family pet.
Please remember to sign the kids up for the secret Mickey. I know that they are going to have a good time doing this, and we want to make sure that everyone has enough time to shop before the cruise if they want to.

Here are Mike (Prince Charming) Erin (Bridezilla) and Joe (DH) belly up to the cake bar. As you can see.. they give you very healthy (or maybe not!) pieces to taste. No little 1 inch squares here!!

Alright, I'm stunting my growth by staying up this late, but for my good friend and mother of the bride.....

We met up with Webray(Cheryl & Bob) at the Cabo Wabo. Had a waborita.

Then it was down to Rips. (you've seen the pics)

Then across the street to the Giggling Marlin. This is where the upside down picture was taken. I have some pics of several Disers doing jello shots, but I do not have their permission to post, so I won't. It was fun.

Then Bob&Cheryl&Bob&Lee went to Slims Elbow Room.

They bill themselves as the worlds smallest bar. After that things get foggy.

For some reason, I think I remember the boat tilting as we were trying to leave port. Nah.

Whoa!! Sounds like a fun day...too fun!! Maybe if we're there for a week, Harry and I might make it to all of those places....maybe not...Harry's not a big drinker, although he does try to keep up with me.

Here's what I do in a nutshell

I log into Photobucket....

Under Image upload I select the number of photos I want to add

I click "browse"

then "my Pictures" folder pops up and I select the photo(s) I want to upload

I click "submit"

and then when I want to include that particular photo in a post, I copy and paste the "IMG" info into my reply post

I then click "preview post" and make sure it looks okay and then I click "submit"

I couldn't find the res-size feature...but I know it's there somewhere....

I hope that helps...I can't wait to see the pictures of your truck...

WOW.. those are beautiful pictures!! DH and I want to do the Alaska cruise.. maybe after the wedding. Can use our DVC points to do HAL. We sure won't have any $$$ left......... Seriously though.. I hear the excursions cost more than the cruises!!
