Hi Cheryl :wave2: It's pouring rain here in Ontario Canada too!!!!!

Remember the Pirates of the Caribbean dinner menu that I posted MouseSurplus was selling on eBay by saying it was rare and longer longer offered? Well the auction has now ended and I just checked and the winning bid was ..... get this....

$37.00

plus $8.99 for shipping

For a piece of paper!!!! I guess what they say about one man's trash...is another's treasure.

{Elaine is now digging through her stash of menus to put her extra Pirate ones on eBay to help pay for some shore excursions.}

Morning! It is not pouring rain her today- but it did yesterday.

If anybody needs help on the sec. Mickey thing- I'd be glad to help out. After cancelling the Diserthon @ sea, I've been left without anything to do.

One more day at the hospital for me. :thumbsup2 Then I'm on call all weekend for the "other" job.

I'm in for the Sec. Mickey and I'll put Robb & Noah in too- can we put kids in? Does anyone else have a kid that wants to participate? (This really equals me doing the work for 3 people, but Robb & Noah will enjoy the benefits & he likes Blue Hawaiians)

I've finally come up with our pirate names:

Celeste: Two-Gun Tess (wenchy pirate I will be)
Robb: Bad Johnny Sax
Noah: Captain Stickey Beard

Chow!

Going to be hot and humid today. We had torrential rains yesterday. 4-5 inches in 45 minutes. Really bad flooding. In places it was four feet deep! No rain today.

How many members of the Grass Skirt Fraternity now????

Good Morning Everyone :sunny:

No problem, we have extra invites just for you. Tracy already told me we would need more than one for you and Leslie. She's really looking out for you. ;) (And me too by the way). I plan on making use of guest services for those of you we don't have stateroom numbers for and can't find any other way. So if you don't have a stateroom assignment kindly include your real name in the e-mail.

Cheryl, Thanks for the Dallas Restaurant Tip, the conference is being held at the Hyatt. Don’t really know Dallas that well, I do know the airport well.

KEWL deal Gail, more Grass Skirt members, It will be a movement.

Tracy, Unknown how many members at this time, they gotta show up in Frat ware to really be members. Sounds like quite a few. Will be Great!!!!

Put Lynn and I in for the Secret Mickey stuff, could be fun. I think she will be up for it. Sorry Lynn I forgot to call ya last night, getting busy over here. I got tied up with the Big Dogs.

It was Africa Hot here yesterday, So it is Friday, Wow I have really lost track of days.

That's it!???! I'm digging up our copies and posting em' to Ebay! Now someone correct me .... but are they still distributing these on the ship??? Cuz ....if so - I'm packing a soft sided cargo bag (flat) for the cruise!!! :rotfl2:

AND... Goood Morning everyone....

Anyone ever been to Visalia? Well... we're at a B&B next to Visalia... in a town called Hanford. Last nite they had a street "thing" and farmers' market. We picked up rasberry infused raisins and fresh squeezed OJ. Our 1st time in the area (over nite - that is). Goin' home today!

Hope the rain clears up for everyone whos' getting it. Tomorrow we have gymnastics in the AM, a swim meet for Julianna in the afternoon then... we lead a group of 48 neighbors, friends & family to a dinner picnic (catered Thai cuisine with ME picking it up and transporting - or pot luck) at a "Sound of Music" sing along ... at the Hollywood Bowl. Busy Busy Busy tomorrow!

Your welcome. If you have a car, Dallas is very easy to get around. We know the Dallas airport well also, at least it is a nice one. Have a safe trip!

Here are some pictures from Small Town America in California..... we present, charming and friendly ... Hanford & Visalia - today I have an hour or so to kill in Vasalia - and I'll add more photos tonight to the album link below - as I seem to be having some photo hosting issues with dotphoto now. This has happened before over the years - so I can only assume their ITpeople will resolve the hosting issues soon - otherwise in a month or so I'll be forced to move on - and as a temporary measure to get around the hosting issue - here is a link if anyone wants to "visit" Hanford and the "Irwin Street Inn" B&B. Dinner was at a place called the Black Bear Diner... generous portions ... reasonably priced .... truly charming decor and unexpectedly superior service.... :thumbsup2 We had a pot pie - and the turkey dinner - a soup (delicious) and salad + kids pizza meals ... $3.99 inc. beverage + a LRGE ice cream sunday! Amazing... truly!

We had a double suite (only $125 ++), and the breakfast was fresh but somewhat limited. Scrambled eggs, tasty sausages, HB and fresh squeezed OJ. We passed on coffee. No baked goods - but very cheerful service and a professional garnish and presentation + setting. However, it was garden variety in its' competance. We prefer to be mildy "wow'ed" with something / anything to make it truly memorable. As such - we would endorse the stay as a cozy way point into Yosemite or Sequoia National Park.... Oh well... so much for my abbreviated trip report from Hanford.

Heres' the album link (more pix to be loaded tonite) and 4 photos below which seem to not be loading reliably..... :confused3

Hi Everyone

We now have another reason to celebrate on this cruise!!!!

I just found out I got a promotion!!!!!!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

as you may (or may not know) I work for the Canadian Government and we must compete to move up the corporate ladder. This usually involves a written test (3 hours), an interview (1-2 hours) and then a supervisory interview. Well I found out today that I was successful!!!!! I'm so excited....looks like there will be more Disney cruises in my future....and maybe one day a cruise in either the Walt or Roy Suite!!!!!!
