Thanks, Stacey: I tried to get the room across the way from you (Roy Suite) and it is taken - I am waitlisted for it and then we can wave to each other from our doorway - but I am sure it won't come thru at this late date.

We'll have to visit each others rooms.

But we won't be able to wave at eachother from across the hall....you can't see the doors from the elevator lobby.

You'll like 8602...that's the room we had on the 10 night Christmas cruise. I think I still like it better than the Roy, which we had for the Mexican Riviera.
I LOVE that balcony and "private" hallway in back.

Quick question, were you guys on the Eastbound Repo cruise? I could swear my daughter played with your daughter at Castway Cay and at one of the art auctions for a bit.....Let me know if it was you.

Gathering the gifts for everyone and getting excited, less that two months now!! So much work to do before then

Peter, you can us to the list of who you cruised with before, we too were on the inaugural western and gave out our postcards..... I am pretty shy, but love to be involved, so not surprised you don't remember us.

We are stuck in LA. We were supposed to be out of here last night at 9pm local time We are headed out now (horefully) to head home. Pray for us, LA traffic is fierce. Morning All! This just makes me want the cruise to get here faster. I long to be up on deck with an Enchanted Forest in my hand and a smile on my face, not stuck in the concrete jungle trying to get home. Hey, I think the mickey mouse ice cream eating contest is a yummy idea. I would lose but would have a great time trying to win. No one ever answered my question about the Radisson meet. What exactly are we doing besides "meeting". Do we need to bring anything, drinks-snacks-booze ? Just wondering what we are doing and what time we should show up because we are looking at a 7 1/2- 8 hr drive for us.

yep, I know - I really like it better also - I can mess up 8602 and don't have to worry about it . Even tho 8602 will accommodate 5 people, my 5th is a 2-1/2 yo and she is not allowed due to the scooter I have and Coast Guard req. say that everyone has to have a bed. Even tho the baby can sleep with one of us. My party in the other room will be in my room most of the time anyways

So as a result, I had to get another room and in the end the $$'s were just as much. Oh well, can't take it with me We thought about Cat. 2 and both of those were taken already also.

But we're gonna be on the ship and that is all that matters. Good times to be had

Yea, maybe Roy will be onboard at some point I can't see him doing the whole 11 days

I am trying to find a way to list everyone's DISboard name and pirate name...but haven't quite figured it out!

Keep those names comin' ...AARRRGH

Laura, What Scott did not mention is that our dogs are not trained to follow direction, I am next to Taiya (the puller) to keep her going in the right direction. I don't know how long it would take to train the dogs to follow direction like sled dogs do.

Hi Lynn - Laura here - would love to see more pics of your babies - are yours as spoiled as mine? I caught some comments on my son's myspace and right now there are a total of 4 comments from "friends that are girls" that wish to be reincarnated as Isis and Chloe - my babies. I'm dying to get them sledding or skijoriing but am worried as my smallest (Isis) seems to have a mind of her own. She pulls and pulls but doesn't heed. The only way to stop her is to let her run it out and her record has been to slow down after about 10 miles. After that she jogs and will rather drop dead than be stopped. Guess I'm not that good of a disciplinarian as I thought - although my kids would beg to differ with me. Anyone else have that problem - I was tough with the real kids but a TOTAL pushover with the girls - - In fact - I've already made arrangements for the girls to go to boarding house (along with community playtime, ice cream every night and private play time with the real girls and swim time if they so desire! And on weekends they'll get 2 hrs of exercise with the workers - they spoil them also! ) but haven't given a thought to my DD -19 and DD - 13. Oh I'm awful - guess I'd better get on the ball (Just for the record - Grandma's wathing them I'm sure - just have to tell her she's watching them ) Later -all - I'm on way to hunt down Capt Kangaroo's jacket for pirate night - Laura -
