I'm sure you guys have heard about this...anyone have any more info???

ALL EARS® HEARS

... there will soon be a new nighttime show on the Disney Wonder called "The Art of the Story." From what ALL EARS® hears, as of now it is only scheduled to be performed on the special 10- and 11-night Disney Wonder cruises in September.

A new show that will be great. Although I really hope that its not replacing hercules. We are so looking forward to seeing that show again on the wonder since they took it off the magic. It has always been our favorite show.

I have the feeling that since we have so many nights, this new one would be "in addition to" all of the regular shows.
I'm excited about it. We've seen the others multiple times.:goodvibes

I think that those of us on the Island tour will have a little :beach: time. Info copied from the DCL website.

St. John Island Tour
Revel in the unspoiled beauty of St. John, just a scenic boat ride from St. Thomas. Board an open-air safari taxi to the picturesque Annaberg Ruins where you can revel in the timeless beauty of an abandoned planatation house and age-old sugar mill. Afterward, sunbathe on the island's white-sand beaches and swim in the crystal blue waters before heading into town for some souvenir shopping.

Excellent! Even better. Is that DCL's info? I was looking at the Passporter, and it doesn't mention the beach.
That would make a great trip PERFECT! I wonder if there would be any decent snorkeling wherever it is that they'll take us? Don't want to haul the mask and snorkel if there isn't..........

Yes, I cut and pasted straight from the DCL website. Guess I better go edit and add that info. I have not idea what beach but I would think we should at least be able to ask at the Shore Excursion desk on the Wonder and find out. But, since that is not their normal routine, maybe they won't know???

But they go to St Thomas all the time...they should at least know about the St John trips...I hope.

I'm not bringing my fins on this trip at all. We've pretty much decided that if we snorkel at all, it will just be from shore, and not too far out. I can easily carry my mask and snorkel in my backpack...but I don't want to carry it if I am definitely not going to use it.

I guess I should clarify. When I cruise with the family, all we ever do is snorkel. Not that it's a bad thing....but I'm so looking forward to this trip, so that I can actually see what the islands themselves look like...and not just from the window of the taxi as we head for a boat!

But I am also going to have to at least get wet at most stops. I can't resist that ocean 100%.

I saw in a post that Hercules was still on the Wonder, does anyone know what shows are going to be on our cruise? I saw where the new show will include the MUPPETS, we have seen TWICE CHARMED, THE GOLDEN MICKEY'S and DISNEY DREAMS on the Majic, all were great shows! It will be nice to see something different this cruise.

Dan,
I don't think it's too late. Go to post #5 and send a message to Carol and Doug. They do a great job. You just have to get your imagination in gear and decorate it! :lmao:

Ok all - eeyorelvr10 here - just writing to help pass time. I too am getting really excited - I'm driving everyone nuts here (especially the ones not going - DD-19 & DD13) so they kicked me out to the study. :bitelip: Anyway, just putting my 2 cents here from SoCal - at 3:23 pm it was 100 degrees until I talked to my mom on her way to Albequerque (?) and it was 108! I feel for you out in the Mid-West - when it gets that hot - its migraine weather for me! I felt so bad that I had to bring my 2 babies out of the heat and into the cool house - my DH is the reincarnation of Mr Freeze and our AC has been on overtime since Last Sunday! Anyone else have that problem? You should see our cabin on the ship - I usually have a sweater on! LOL ;) Can I pray that the AC doesn't work onship? :dance3: Just kidding - anyway, my diet doesn't seem to be working and the weather's not cooperating. Well, take care until I need my next fix - later all :bounce: :Pinkbounc  :cheer2: :yay: Laura

I totally feel you on the heat thing. I have been driving this semi all day across Nebraska and the sun and the heat has been HOTHOTHOT!! I have been downing water all day and have had the A/C full blast. It's 102 here! Way too hot. I laughed about you getting on your kids nerves. Everytime my dh talks to ds on the phone he says "Alex, we are gonna have such fun on the cruise that YOUR NOT GOING ON!" :lmao: He just takes it in stride. We are going to Savannah next weekend for his 16th b'day. He's pretty excited about that, but would LOVE to go on this cruise. I, too am trying to pass the time. Our refridgerator went out on our truck so we had to throw all of our food away. Our diet just went bust. It couldn't have just waited until we got home  Still exercising and trying to eat out healthy :bounce: Hope everyone is having a super weekend. I can't wait to see what everyone's Fish Extenders look like :woohoo: This is gonna be so much fun! :dance3:

I'm looking for the website for Pirate Names - can someone give it to me again. Thanks. pirate:

So, Tink, I guess that wasn't you today in Sacto cruising the Party America parking lot. :rotfl2:

Only 55 more days until we leave for WDW! Went to Sacto to do some vacation shopping. Didn't find much --- hot, hot, hot though in Sacto. We were really glad to get back in to the valley where it was much cooler.

Leslye

Driving home from Scottsdale last night at about 10:30pm it was 101 :sunny: . Not to mention the 115 degree :furious: our car told us on the way to the airport at 4pm.
