There is a little write up about the fish extender in the February newsletter. It started small and grew to a project. Be careful if you give this group an idea because they will take it and run. They would be a dream team in the corporate world for coming up with new ideas. It will be fun to see old friends and meet new ones. I have a small gift for each cabin so add me to the list. It was so fun to return to your room and find little presents in you fish extender almost daily.

How did the fish extenders get started? The main thread has a question about them. I answered what they were but I have no Idea how they came into being. Did you start them?

Sorry to say the answer is NO, we did not start them. Someone found them in a 1$ discount store and bought them for the California repo cruise. The idea caught on and the DW decided she wanted one for this 11 night cruise. After thousands of trips to the discount stores in Ohio she gave up and decided to try and make one for herself and any of the other DISERS on this cruise that would like them. Also don't miss out on the Fisher Extender "
decorating contest that has started from this. This contest is open to all Fish Extenders, original, self made or the ones supplied by us.

If you would like one please PM use with your address and request,(this is for all new DISERS AND LURKERS too). There is a $5.00 request to cover postage if you wish to receive the extender before the cruise or we will see to it you will receive it on booard.

Has anyone noticed that we will be at sea on 19 September 06 which just also happens to be "TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY". This could possibly require 2 days of PIRATE DRESS.

About mid-May, my family ventured to the local post office with our original birth certificates and marriage license to file the paperwork for our passports for this trip. The postal clerk says that the State Department requires our original documents for processing. Yesterday, I receive my husband's and my son's passport. They got their "official documents" back. Where's my passport? Where's my birth certificate? I'm freaking out about if I get neither, I can't go on the cruise. Anyone else with this problem?

About the fish extender category. The 2 categories are infant - 12 is the adult with children category and ages 13 and up is the adult category. So, am I correct in saying you wanted the Adult category? Just let me know if this isn't correct, okay?

My passport came in 3 days after my DH'S and DS'S so you'll probably be fine. If you don't get it by mid month, I'd be calling if I was you. JMO>

Glad to hear Christina is getting to recovery. My daughter can't wait to meet her in person!

A few more newbie questions: what (and where) is the Waveband? I'm a DVC member but we didn't sign up for brunch at Palo prior to 90 days cuz we're just not that bright.

Do we get any priority if we try to get a reservation once we're onboard?

We are definitely dressing for pirates night. We are trying to round up some costumes for the rest though. I would love to dress up for everything but we just booked this cruise and I feel like we are up against the clock trying to prepare for it.

Waveband is one of the Clubs/Bars. Deck 3 forward (when you get on the ship, to your right, same level we enter on. Go down the hall and it's the first door to the right)

Being a first time DCL cruiser, you could not register for anything until the 75 day mark and paid in full. DVC doesn't make a difference. There are no priority reservations (except maybe concierge? ), it's first come first served. They do hold some of the openings for people to book onboard so don't worry

Pins. Just so everyone knows. Dan will be getting more information to us after this weekend about the pricing, payment and delivery options. We are over 200 now so there will be a price break He will need payment before he orders the pins. I am just keeping the list for him so I don't have many more answers right now. Thanks!!
