Diana,

Loved the pictures. pirate: Can't wait to see the boat and the movie. May wait a few days after it opens though. When you live in a one theater town it can get awfully :crowded: when new movies come out.

So that is what the loud noise I heard in the west........ LOL

Happy birthday Cherry. :cheer2:

Kathy just picked up her last addition to the animal farm here. She got a very small chameleon to go along with her fish, brush tongued rainbow lorakeet and dogs.

I will say though that she is the one that feeds and cleans their cages, aquarium, and doggies.

Hey Scott,
Robb & I have wet suit questions...I am not overly fond of going into the water at CC because it is FREEZING!!! I am looking to buy something for dives/snorkeling....probably mainly snorkeling this trips. Would you recommend a 1mm full or a 3 mm full? I don't want to get hot, but I also don't want to freeze. As I have never been in the water where we are going- which would be better overall? Robb is trying to decide between a 3mm shorty & a 1mm full.

Oh Scott, divemaster, we wait anxiously for your response.... ;)

This has probably been answered but . . . .

How long will the Flying Dutchman be at CC? Our daughter Jenna is a huge fan and would literally flip if it was still going to be there in September.

I had read on the main cruise thread that it will be there atleast thru the first of the year. Then I read on another board (not dis) that it was going to stay there until filming began for the third and final movie. pirate:

Arrrrggh. All this be scuttlebutt and not known to be the actual facts. Arrrggh.

Information for those who are waiting for an update:

Christina (SweetSue's DD) is out of surgery. She was in recovery at 3:30. Sue was able to go into the recovery room with her

She is now back in her room and recovering and she has tubes going in and out of her. She is asking for water but cannot have it until tomorrow.

Sue will give another update soon

Celeste,

Sorry was teaching Module 4, all done so here ya go.

Wetsuits are very individual as to what one needs, I am a ninny and wear a full 5-4-3 in the Caribbean . The torso is 5mm, upper arms and thigh is 4mm and 3mm further out on arms and legs. Lynn almost always wears a hood to keep heat in. I would rather be warmer than cooler. A 1mm is ok as an under suit when you need the extra warmth or if the water is really warm. The pool you learned to dive in was probably about 75-80 degrees. Use that as a gauge. Water in the low 70’s now finds me in a dry suit. The other consideration is how many dive do you plan on doing per day, the cumulative effect of the water conduction of your body heat can be felt over multiple dives.

September should find CC pretty warm like low 80’s

Just doing a couple of dive a 3mm shorty would work, if you are cold blooded, go full 3mm. Check out Divers Direct, their Comp suits are pretty good.

Hope this helps. Lynn is a Divemaster and I am a MSDT. LOL

Leslie, I think the Flying D will be there for quite a while, and should be there in Sept for our visit. I think Bob would have a more definative answer, slow post LOL gotta be quick here.

Kay thanks for the update.
