Well, now that many of us have had a fun night of fighting with the DCL reservation system - let's change the subject.

I spent some time on the name badges over the weekend and I have everyone on the current edition of the cruise list taken care of. So, if your name isn't spelled correctly on the cruise list or is in a form that you really don't like, that's how it's going to look on your name badge. Please PM me if you want your name printed differently then it is listed on the cruise list.

Any lurkers out there? It's time to come in and play. Free lanyards and name badges to everyone on the list!

Ken

Okay...I missed the midnight booking frenzy...I was in bed sleeping!! :rolleyes1

I was able to book Palo dinner (no brunch) and our spa reservations. I haven't even looked at excursions...ugh! Is there anything left?

Ken - congrats to your son! I checked out the website and the results after his first match. He must have had a great time!

Did you use Internet Explorer or something else? I had problems last weekend with Palo ressies only using Firefox, but when I logged in to IE, I had no problem.

If you were making reservations last weekend- are you in a suite T?

Hey Laurie! I can only see stuff at St. Thomas & CC- but I don't know if that is because I have other stuff booked or what. I also am wondering if more stuff will become available when the rest of the bookings is opened in 15 days. I'm sure they hold stuff back. Also, if people are like me, I may let some stuff go or change things.

Hi Celeste!!
Well...I was able to book both excursions we were interested in...not bad!

Is Eli's Ecotour and EcoAdventure still available?

Hi Scott: I saw one of your posts at 3am this morning and it said "there is my upgrade."
Does this mean you were given an upgrade when you were making your reservations for excursions and dining? I haven't been on the boards for very long so please excuse my ignorance about this. Thanks - we are also doing the early St. Kitts train ride.

I was jokingly responding to a post of Peter’s about the Walt/Roy Suite being available. I can dream can’t I . My 6th sense tells me I know who got it. :rolleyes1 :thumbsup2

I would think there would be more availability for the next reservation Frenzy in a few days, I kinda remember that some openings are even held back for folks to make reservations on the ship. Plus people do change their minds etc.

KEWL we will have diving buddies, Train buddies, and Antigua Tour buddies. :woohoo: :woohoo: :cool1: :woohoo:

I was up until 1:30 last night and managed to get most of what Harry and I are interested in. Got all our shore excursions, Pirate Cruise in St. Lucia, Scenic Train in St. Kitts, and Stingrays at Castaway Cay. I chose the last train (1-5) because I want to see them hold the ship for us :cool1: -- my info says the ship leaves at 4:30! Must be out of date again. Mostly I hate getting up early enough to do the first excursion and didn't want to break up the day with the middle one, so by process of elimination went with the last train.

I also got Palo for 3/4 for both brunch and dinner. My friend Vanessa is going to be very disappointed if they don't have high tea on board.

Had trouble booking the massage I wanted at the time I wanted, so booked a different (more expensive, of course) massage. Will try to change it later. Booked a bunch of other spa stuff (manicure, pedicure, facial) but may change or cancel some of it. It sure seemed like the times things were available was very limited. :hourglass Maybe for my next cruise I should book the spa treatments first. :confused3

Back to excursions, so now with SNUBA in St. Thomas, Silver Moon in Barbados, and Lawrence of Antigua all booked, I am done booking excursions! :yay:

Heck no! Remember I'll be on the Magic the week before the Wonder cruise? Didn't have any trouble getting what I wanted last weekend or today, but I was up at 1:45 a.m. to make the ressies. Going home now.

For those who have not booked your airtravel yet, this was an interesting piece of news from MouseSavers:

For a limited time, Disney Cruise Line is offering airfare for these two cruises for $99 roundtrip per person (plus taxes and fees) if you are traveling from almost any city located East of the Mississippi. If you live West of the Mississippi, you can get airfare for $199 roundtrip per person (plus taxes and fees) from most cities. (Anchorage, Honolulu, Canada and Mexico departures are excluded.)

From LAX right now, the best round trip I can find is coming in at $327 a person. So, this is a huge savings. I just put in a call to our agent to check it out.

Awesome Scott- good for you. :cheer2: Maybe we will all be thinner sitting around in the Rainforest room??? :rotfl2: Or maybe we will all just break even. Today will be my first day back to "running" after the 1/2 marathon in SLC. I still have healing feet, but have felt much better after this one, than my untrained one at WDW last year.

I've been reading but not posting lately, trying to put together name tags for the 10 day cruise. I am a little sore today from our power walking. We did 16 miles on Saturday, the first 4 at 14 min./mile and finished in 3 hours and 50 min.. We are on track for the Goofy Challenge in January. We are not the only crazy people- the Goofy challenge is full, 3000 people! Guess you just gotta be a bit goofy to do it.

Hi Gang,

I haven't introduced myself here yet, but I wanted y'all to know that you can now reserve SL-15, The Rainforest Canopy Adventure. There are two departure times.

See y'all on board.

Tikigirl, welcome aboard, check out page one if ya haven't and get on the roster etc etc etc.

Thanks for the SL-15 info I am sure there will be folks glad to get the update.

Hi all we got everything we wanted ! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
Had No problems :)

Scott see you on the train.

Thanks T

Thanks - Tikigirl. We were bummed when the Rainforest Canopy Adventure wasn't available last night. Just reserved the 11:45.

Mission successful. Except for High Tea:(

Alex, that is great. some day maybe the Goofy Challenge, probably when I get the time, I wonder if they will have a walker division.

I think the grass skirts for the guys is a super idea. But, if we women did it too, I feel that it might take away the special momentum that the guys are building. I'll do whatever the majority decides to do but I really feel it maybe should stay a guy thing.

I tend to agree. Even though it might be fun for us girls to participate I think it would lose some of it's specialness if we invade the guys fun. :confused3

Ken, congratulations to your son. :cheer2: Bet he will be happy to get home.

Mike, hope they let you out and you are home now. :Pinkbounc

Hey Alex
Joe signed up for the Goofy Race and 1/2. I think he is insane! I'll be cheering you all on from one of the water stops. I'm going to volunteer. We're going to do the Race for the Taste in October... that's far enough for me. LOL
