OK, we may be back on the cruise. I just got an e-mail with an amazing deal for the 10 and 11 nights. Keep your fingers crossed- it all depends on DH being able to get the vacation time. We had switched to a Mexico trip for our 10 year anniversary because it was much less but now this deal comes up!

I had a list from our Repo cruise last May and can't find it anywhere on my computer that listed items to not be forgotten. i.e., over the door shoe holder, duct tape, zip-ties, etc.... I know one you out there knows what I am talking about. Can someone email me with it? Thanks!

Okay...I did a little research on the main DCL board and found the list... guess what??? It is only 19 pages long!

So ScottH... depending on the timing of your gig - and our variable to the last minute schedule we are officially a "MAYBE". We'll have info on your gig printed and handy in case of potential use.

As for Bethe - I'm PM her later and enquire if we're OK with kids and/or a non-alcoholic conrtibution - like a sparkling 750 of peach or apple nectar. It would be suitable for the kids, eh?

I was going to post a list in this newsletter, but I'm already up to 8 pages formated and still going (ok, almost done) so it'll have to wait until next month.

Here's our itineary for the vacation that can't get here soon enough!!


DH & I fly in on Saturday night @ 7:00pm...drive to the Radisson. Hook up with any of the late night drinkers at Grills and then try to sleep...but probably not 'cuz I'll be SO excited!! Have breakfast in bed on Sunday morning...or maybe by the pool! I'll be driving DH crazy to drop me off at the terminal so we don't miss a thing!!

Sunrise at the Port, I'll be there. or darn close to it.

Grass Skirt:

1 1/2 oz gin
1 oz triple sec
1 oz pineapple juice
1/2 tsp grenadine syrup
1 slice pineapple

Directions:In a shaker half-filled with ice cubes, combine the gin, triple sec, pineapple juice, and grenadine. Shake well. Pour into an old-fashioned glass and garnish with the pineapple slice.

11. Oooh! I'm past the 10 mark, Ooh la la!! My post said that we would be dancing around with my son, but probably it will be me dancing around - trying to get him to wake up!! Then, he will start jumping on the bed!!

Speaking of Watermelon Martinis, every tried a Watermelon Jolly Rancher Martini? I know this is a family board, so if you would like to know how to make it, just PM. It is easy and verrrrry tasty!

It is simple to make: 3 oz. Smirnoff Watermelon Vodka
1 oz. cranberry juice
1 oz. lemonade

We will get up go to Mcdonalds for Breakfast and then hea don over to the port. We will check in get our cabin number then sit around and complain about everyone hanging around the gangplank entrance when there number isn't even close to being called.

Is that not the most annoying thing??? Actually, I have not had to stand in line the last two times we cruised because we didn't get to the port until 1:00 or so and there were no lines. I do fly a lot for work and it never fails - if I am lucky enough to get upgraded to first or even when the elite members can board I have to fight my way to get to the gate. And the looks you get are absolutely frightful!
