My husband and I are planning our first ever Disney world trip between September 15th-22nd 2015 possibly extending it to the 27th. How busy are the parks during this time? I know for Disneyland it's a super slow period. I'm trying to avoid going during crowded times. These forums are a lifesaver. Thank you!

Years ago this time of year everything was walk on. Then came free dining and the parks have been more crowded every year. We have been going toward the end of Sept every year for the last 12 years, and even though the parks are more crowded you are still going during a slow time. I'm upset because they moved F&W festival up a week and we are checking in the first day so I know it will be really crowded during the first week of F&W.

Well darn. I would love to experience F&W, but crowds! Haha. I'll just have to accept the not so much amount of crowds. It could be worse, like during the summer or holidays.
