Morning Dudes & Dudettes! Well, I just had a lovely long weekend with Peg and our sister-in-law. And even though it's a short week, I don't feel like going to work today. But I will...and I'll survive

We have NO plans for turkey day. I think we should just stay in our jammies and read books and pick up dinner from Boston Market! OK...we would put clothes on to go pick up the dinner and perhaps for dining at the patio table. I wonder how Peg & Jose would feel about this plan?

Will they deliver on turkey day? Otherwise the plan sounds wonderful.

Hi everyone!!!! We had a pretty nice weekend too. We spent the day up in Nashville, TN at Opry Mills doing some Christmas shopping and at the Opryland Hotel checking out all the Christmas decorations. Plus, Jason got me an early Christmas present: he took me to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular!!!! It was incredible to actually see the Rockettes in person.

Turkey Day will be at our house, but it won't be too big since it will just be the two of us and our parents and 4 out of the 6 of us will be leaving for WDW the next day. Don't want too many leftovers.

Sorry for the delay on this, we had to have a piece of software custom written to cut up the existing long threads.
We have also decided how to handle long threads moving forward:
1. Threads will be closed at 250 pages (3750 posts)
2. Any existing thread over 250 pages will be locked as is.
3. The really long threads that were removed will come back over the next week or so. I have to shut the boards down to cut them up so I will try to do it during "off hours". We are also trying index them so people will be able to reference them.

Two more days till Turkey Day!!! I LOVE Turkey Day. This year I'm going out to dinner with my DH John and my stepdad Ray. We're going to the Stroudsmoor Country Inn....the same place where we had my brithday champagne brunch last week.....but now we'll be in a different building. We're doing a sit down dinner, not a buffet.....because I want to take home a doggy bag. Looks like I'll be off the diet for another day. I'm not losing and I'm not gaining. I'm staying the same thru my cheating days on my birthday and now upcoming holiday.

Hi Emily, I've been to the Opryland Hotel once, but not for Christmas. I can only imagine how much more beautiful it looks all decorated. I was very impressed with the atrium and the instant energy I felt when walking into it. I'm glad you had a good time and that you got a special treat seeing the Rockettes in person. How awesome!

Are you one of the ones going to WDW the day after Turkey? If so, I hope you have a great time and will post some pics here when you get back. Have Fun!!!

The weather dog just informed me that it's raining outside. It's still dark so it's hard to tell. The weather dog is my long haired german shepherd named Angel. She has a doggy door to the outside that goes into her pen. She comes and goes in and out as she pleases. She just walked by me soaking wet. We call her the weather dog. You should be here when she brings in snow!

Beautiful GSD, Deb! My first dog was a German Shepherd (short hair) and I called her 'True'...

Now we have a Dalmatian called Dinah and an Old English Sheepdog called Suzy...

She's an Old English, Marilyn and an absolutely wonderful dog.

Glad you liked 'em, Deb! That's so true, they are friends - Suzy is devoted to Dinah who is deaf and really looks after her. I can say "Go and get your sister" and Suzy will go and herd the Dal to wherever I want her to be - she's a star... They are only a year apart in age and really are a perfect duo. I love them to bits - even tho' Dinah is shedding like a loony at the moment and it's very difficult not to drown under all the free flying fur!!!

Kitties are cool! They are adorable too.....especially when they have little puppies to play with. I just think that's so funny!
