Morning Dudes and Dudettes! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I am meeting a girlfriend from FIFTH GRADE for lunch today. Haven't seen here in about a year, even though we live in the same town. Isn't that sad? We keep promising to get together more often, but life just gets in the way.

It's a beautiful day here, so we are trying to decide where to meet that has PATIO dining. I think I'll vote for Ruby Tuesday's at the mall. We can stroll and shop too!

We're Back and we had a FAB FAB Fabulous time. Here's some pictures:

The true Champagne Girl that I am, I drank the champagne that came with the meal and then ordered a bottle of Korbel Brut. Did I mention that I really like champagne!?!

I had a scone, fruit, quiche, bacon, turkey croquet, hash browns and vanilla cake with coconut cream frosting. Oh, it was all so good.

When they brought me my cake, they put a candle on it and sang happy birthday because they overhead us doing a cheers and wishing me happy birthday. So it was a complete surprise and very nice. I got a wish while blowing out the candle....I wished to win lotto so that I could pay off all my cruises. Ha ha ha!

Thanks Kaz, we sure did have a good time. The atmosphere, the food, the bubbly, the people.....everything was perfect. They had a fire going since it's a cold wintery day here.....very nice, warm and cozy. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Well.....let's see....this cruise, WBTA, possibly a Baltic or EBTA and the two we've already shared...I think we can count on it!

Gotta hit the shower and head out for my haircut and pedicure and a bit of grocery shopping. Them MUST spend the afternoon de-cluttering the house....need to find the top of my dining room table!

Checking in here! Life has been good, busy and fun! Our trip is getting closer all the time, too!

I'll have more information about HAL next month. They are having a 3-day sale (ends Nov. 14), and we just booked a 10-night Mexican Riviera/Sea of Cortez cruise on the Ryndam (1,250 passengers) out of San Diego. An outside cabin is $599 p/p + tax, port charges, and fuel surcharge. This seems like a good price, especially compared to Disney.

Woody, I just checked out your trip. It looks great. I'd love to cruise the Sea of Cortez. I did a liveaboard out of La Paz a few years ago and loved it. We saw lots of dolphins and even some whales (that was in Oct.). I would think you'll see whales this time of year, yes? And the weather should be beautiful. Are you going to see Copper Canyon?

Woody... do you even have a home to go to in between all these trips??? Just wondering... cause if you do... I could come and house sit while you are away...

Not so fast, sister! I'M closer, I should be the house sitter! It's my old childhood vacation stomping grounds, after all!

Hi Stacy, I know one person doing a Turkey Day cruise and one person doing a Dec 7 cruise and one person doing a New Year's Eve cruise....these are all friends of mine from the PC cruise in May 08....all DISers.

Just feel free to introduce yourself and ask your questions to our PC thread which is still going even though we cruised six months ago. Tell them that I sent you. It'll be fine. Hi Angel, hope you are making a speedy recovery. You have been on my mind and I'm wishing you well. Medical procedures of any kind are not fun. You seem to have had your share of them lately.
