September 12, 2009 ~ Last Call for Tortola!

ok, I think I've caught up now.....

Spent a few days at my parents' and the weather was unseasonably warm so we had a lovely walk on the beach on Sunday. Monday I had to whiz down to Bristol to administer TLC to Becky who is suddenly finding University a little overwhelming I think, plus she has a nasty cold which isn't helping. I try not to get too involved now but with her depression history I do worry....

So, back home now, an I've succumbed to the nasty cold too.... I need a holiday I shall just have to do lots of dreaming of this cruise instead....

How's the general mood in the US today?

Wow, you have been a busy lady. How great to have been on the beach in the seasonably warm weather.

Poor Becky, it certainly can be a bit overwhelming to start at University and her cold will not help her feel good at all. Hopefully she will feel better soon. Keep in touch with her Angel and run to administer hugs when necessary.

I stayed awake last night watching the speeches after voting during the day. I was completely moved and proud to be an American. The people have really responded to Obama and the energy was high. It's contageous.

We'll make it earlier in the day so that people who have an early dinner will have plenty of time to get there. We will also pick a date that is a sea day on the day of the tasting as well as the day after, if possible. I have to look at the ininerary again.

We get onboard Sat Sept 12th. We have two sea days Sun and Mon Sept 13 and 14. I think we should do it on Sun Sept 13th at 2pm. How does everybody else feel about this time and date? It's the only time we'll have two sea days in a row on this cruise so I say let's do it then.

NEVER......but I was just thinking that everyone should eat some lunch before coming to drink/guzzle down some champagne. That also gives everyone four hours before the first dinner seating.....so 2pm should be good.


We'll try to have it in Diversions again. That was a nice room for us. Very cozy and comfy. We won't have any official information in the way of handouts and video like Karen did for us, but we can taste and tell if we like it or not. We'll have at least four different samples again. We'll definitely have the Rosa Regale that everyone seems to love and we'll have chocolates too.

Oh, this is growing to be even better than the first one and I'm getting so excited to be on board and partying with my friends. We'll have to get our picture taken again too in our new tiaras with pink fur!!!
