Just a note and 'hello' to everyone.
We're on the Sept 12th '09 too...
Seems odd booking so far out in advance..but we were afraid to miss out on the great rate. We'll be going on a three day in April on the Wonder for our 25th wedding anniversary... and then for our 50th birthdays the Magic to Tortola.
:beach:

Haven't had a chance to read the thread, but we just booked this cruise. It's a surprise for our 4 kids (they'll be 15, 11, 5, and 5), and a welcome home vacation for dh who will be returning from a year plus in Afghanistan. It's really a make up for him- he's missing our cruise this Fall, so we're going again.

Can't wait to catch up on the info.

Julie,
DH and I are also on this cruise with you along with the Sept. Double Dip.

Wow, what a coincidence.

We're hoping to be able to keep the kids completely in the dark until we got to Port Canaveral. We've managed with WDW trips, but this might be hard. We were thinking of telling them we were going to sail on the Carnival Glory or RCL Sovereign of the Seas, then pull into the Disney lot.

Finally read through the thread. We've cruised with some of you before on the 9/16/06 double dip. And we're cruising with some of you on the 9/27/08 double dip. I guess we're all hopeless DCL addicts. Could be worse.

Now I have to keep my mouth shut in front of the kids for the next two years. I don't know if I can make it.

Julie

Hi All !! I've been MIA due to a hectic few months.. I will try to be better.. :guilty:

Julie, I'm sure you can keep it a secret.

It'll be easier with dh gone. I'm the compulsive planner, but he always asks me what the plans are. They all tease me, with things like, "so where are we going on vacation in 2012." Ha. Little do they know I'm really already planning.

I'm the same way. Always thinking about the next trip. I can't wait until the end of the year or early next year to see where DCL will be in 2010 and I'm hoping for a spot on the maiden voyage in 2011. After that I might be able to stop for awhile.

I don't know how you can keep it a secret from your kiddoes. I know lots of people do, but everytime I try I tell her before the day is out. :lmao: :lmao:

Welcome to the party! Is your 11 y/o a boy or girl? My DD will be turning 11 on Sept 21st. We're doing B2B cruises, so we'll still be onboard for her BD!

Wendy

Wendy, you are as Bad as my Hubby with keeping trips a secret..

Andy plans something, thinks about it, then decides uhhhh I need to tell her so she doesn't schedule us to do anything on those days and spills the beans.. :upsidedow

DS & I can and have kept secret Trips a secret for months :rolleyes1

Hi everyone, I just put down the deposit for the last voyage to Tortola next year. I lingered on the board for a few weeks because I am actively planning a trip to Disneyland in three weeks for my family (husband and son are first timers, only my second in twenty years).:surfweb: I saw how everyone was posting about the cruises and decided to check out the dreams unlimited website and just got a special pricing for a cat 7 room. Thanks for the info everyone supplies, I can't wait for this!!!!!pirate:

Welcome!!!!

Trust me, it might be your first cruise, but it won't be your last. Feel free to ask any questions, we're here to help.

Now that you're booked, don't be a stranger! How old will your DS be at sailing?
