September 12, 2009 ~ Last Call for Tortola! Thread 3

Well, you know Peg, that brother was sitting on the floor in front of the TV right beside Dianne and I as we watched the Mickey Mouse Club in the 50's. So we know there's a smidge of that gene in him somewhere!

.

By looking at the list on page 1 - I am coming up with about 96 people that are participating in the FE. I'm not sure who the coordinator is for this group. Does anyone have a total # of people who have said they are participating? I want to finalize my gifts this week!

The shoppers and crafters are anxious to get the ball rolling.:rotfl:

Keisha1, I'm sure the count won't be that high, especially if you are including everyone listed with the person who has FE by their name on page one. For instance I'm the only one in my group of the five people who are listed with my name.

Well that's true and another thing I realized - he has fun where ever he goes... I'm really thinking all the "talk" is coming from someone else ... :thumbsup2

Ian, you look to me like a guy who takes everything in his stride and wouldn't get unduly excited about vacations!!

John gets excited about vacations, it is just that nobody can tell!!:lmao:

The May vacation didn't phase me, but for some reason this one has me excited.

Fortunately I can access my sent mail while I'm at work. So, munching away on my lunch, I looked at the spreadsheet I sent out this weekend. Here are the gross numbers, resulting from the survey/sign-up for Fish Extenders:

Number of Staterooms: 27
Total Number of All Occupants (includes children): 71
Number of Children (includes teens): 22

I think the count of what one buys would be based on whether it is based on the cabin, or the number of occupants, or a fixed quantity per cabin, no matter the occupants.

It's when I'm laying awake in bed because I'm too excited to sleep.

That's the greatest feeling.....last cruise we flew out early in the morning and trying to get to sleep the night before was impossible.

We're driving again this time like we usually do and I like it much better because we leave around midnight....so I don't have to try to go to sleep. We usually end up leaving earlier too because we're so excited we just want to get on the road.:banana:

On the down side... This is the 1st HP movie we will be watching without our DS :guilty: but, I am sure there will be alot of 1st to come.. *sigh* So I am trying to stay strong, but I have a tissue in my pocket already..

Anyone else going to see it tonight? Our 1 theater had it playing at Midnight in 6 theaters and it was sold out in all 6 of them.. Jeeze!!!

Me and John are going to Becky's Drive In to see it on Saturday night. I love that we still have drive in's in my neighborhood. It reminds me of my youth.

Have a good time Stacy. Hugs for you and Andy to enjoy the movie without too many tears for Damien. He's with you in spirit and always in your hearts.

I've never even attempted to get into harry Potter. Perhaps I should begin at the very beginning!!!

Enjoy the film, popcorn and the company, and remember Damien with happy warm memories, but don't worry about using that tissue!

Yes, the 'firsts' are going to be hard.

I never read any of the books, but John and I have seen all the movies. I love Harry Potter....perhaps you should start at the beginning. At least you wont' have to wait in between movies.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone's quick responses to my emails. Also, you're cracking me up. We have a good bunch of very funny people. Even if I'm not responding....just know, I'm laughing. Thank you so much.

Enjoy the movie. Try not to use that tissue. Damien will be there watching it with you.
