Enjoyed the Wishes Dessert Party last night. Fab desserts and a relaxing view of Wishes. Ate about 6 huge chocolate covered strawberries amongst other delish things.

Just bit the bullet and bought the MNSSHP tix for tomorrow. Here is to hoping the rain holds off! :goodvibes We dont want to end up
Happy travels!

I think you'll be fine!!! PD that you won't have any rain and you'll have a great time at the party.

I'm on my way to the airport. We fly out at 11:50 am and arrive in Orlando at 3:25 pm. WooHoo, we're on our way now! :cool1::banana: :cheer2:

I just love my I-phone! It makes it so convient while travelling. Iam posting while DH is filling up with gas! So I can keep posting until we board the plane.

See you all soon!

I would love to get an iPhone. Just waiting for our T-Mobile contract to run out so we can switch to AT&T without a huge penalty.

Working a half day today. All my work is already done, so I'm just going to sit around and do nothing, watch the 2011 announcement and surf the net. Then go home and pack. Gotta get up at 3 am to hit the airport to head to Orlando. We should hit the terminal between 11 and 12. I can hardly wait.:cloud9:

I'm on mine all the time, very convenient. I don't get to watch it as I'll be boarding about then. I'm sure I'll get the update at FishLips tonight.

Keep en eye out and you might see the shuttle coming into land (if the weather clears up that is!)

------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are four opportunities at two landing sites to bring space shuttle Discovery and its crew home to Earth today after a flight to resupply the International Space Station and deliver a new crew member.

The deorbit burn for the first KSC landing opportunity is at 4:41 p.m. EDT with landing at 5:48 p.m. The second Florida landing window begins with a deorbit burn at 6:17 p.m. and ends with a landing at 7:23 p.m.

The first landing opportunity in California has a deorbit burn time of 7:47 p.m. with landing at 8:53 p.m. The second opportunity would start with a deorbit burn at 9:23 p.m. and end with a landing at 10:28 p.m.

Woohoo, here we go!!!:dance3:

couldn't have put it better myself.

:cool1::cool1::cool1:

the rest of the family are still asleep. We hit MNSSHP last night and had a blast. Got back in at 1am, so we will be the family who are asleep in their life vests at the drill:lmao:

DD princess: turns 5 today, so when she wakes up, there will be presents to open (and then pack away :rotfl: who planned that one. Oh me:confused3!

As far as the kids know, we are going to spend a few days at the beach. When we get to the boat, we will maybe see if we can have lunch with Mickey! Lets see how long we can keep it a secret...

As our favorite mouse says

"See y'all real soon!"

We are at Saratoga Springs Hospitality House awaiting the bus to the port!

:)

Got to the port and upgraded to the Walt Disney Suite!!!! Room 8030. Just wanted to let y'all know where we'd be :)

I'm sooo jealous of you all! Hope you're all having a lovely time, and that the champagne girls had fun!:thumbsup2

Looks like I'm the first one to report home safe and sound!

Had a painless trip home, made all transitions (plane to shuttle to car, etc) easily with little or no wait. :thumbsup2

Grabbed some KFC (grilled) for dinner and checked in with Peg's dog sitter. Haven't contacted family yet...will call Chicago in a few minutes, before it gets too late there.

Had a great time with family (mostley ;)) and a wonderful time with friends. The humidity took a lot out of me, both at WDW and the Caribbean, don't think I'll be doing September trips there again!

The minute I walked off the ship, I became a GOLD Castaway Club member. :woohoo: Time to check out ALAKSA!

Hope everyone traveling today and tomorrow make it home safe and sound. And those of you still vacationing, have a great time!

Wish I had gotten to meet and visit more with everyone, traveling with family precluded some of my socializing, but I loved seeing the green lanyards around the ship.

We're home too Jackie!!!!

We had some airport delays due to bad weather, but we still made it home early.

It was great to meet everyone that I did. I wish I had had a chance to meet everyone, but there was just so much going on.

We'll be looking to book Alaska on Monday morning as well too. Booked a dummy to transfer to whatever date for a suite we can get. Maybe we'll see some of you again in 2011.

Just got in. Tired after a full day of traveling. Sad to be off the ship, but have lots of photos to look over the next few days. Wished I could have spent more time with the folks here, but c'est la vie!

So who from here won the jackpot Bingo? The winner had a green lanyard, so must have been a Dis-er family. Congratulations! That was a great prize to win!

WOW! That's great news! I wonder if it was my sister-in-law and she's just keeping it to herself! :lmao::lmao:

Regarding 2011.....does anyone know what's going on with the Wonder 9/5-9/20???? Last Alaska is 8/30 but the ship doesn't return till 9/20?? Will it be in dry dock in a northern shipyard? Kind of spoils my plan of doing the final Alaska and bringing the ship home to LA. :confused3

Did you hear about this year's rumored dry dock changes? Enclosing the Overlook bar and adding a second floor to Cove Cafe with floor to celing windows. Anybody hear more detail on that?

Sort of confirmed by one of the Cove CMs, but he believes it's only for the Wonder. Not sure exactly why bur he said it had to do with the Magic being "heavier." Said the Overlook wasn't used because of all the wind and how it wrought havoc on the glassware and bottles when it was open.

Having ot enclosed with floor to ceiling windows would play in nicely with Alaska....

Unless your SIL has a beard, then it wasn't her! I am sure she would have been jumping for joy if it was her. The jackpot was over $6600 and I am so jealous! (But happy that if it wasn't me, at least another diser won!)
