:boat: WELCOME ABOARD :sail:

I have added you to page 1 post 2 in alphabetical order by DIS name. The * in front of your name means we know you are sailing with us.

Some have shared their stateroom number and hometowns. Do as you see fit. If you post it here, I will add it there. Then if anyone wants to print it out, they have a list of cruisers that is as complete as I can make it. Some folks have shared their stateroom numbers with those on Fish Extender but I do not have permission to move them from that list to page 1 of the thread so have not done so.

If you have any questions, ASK!!

:guilty: DH just asked me if I really wanted to go on this cruise.. Apparently he is not real happy or excited like he use to get for our cruises.. I told him to be honest Yes and No myself and I explained why.. I am guessing he is thinking of our son and realizing unfortunately we will never be able to cruise with our son again.. Part of the reason for my yes and no.. I am not sure how we will be or how this will effect us.. It is the first time he said anything to me about not wanting to go..

Please send a little Pixie Dust this way for my DH to raise his spirits up :wizard:

Thank You
:grouphug:

Best wishes as you make a difficult decision.

Some of our Westbound Panama Canal group had lost a family member and gathered for a special memory time one morning.

I keep thinking that my Dad would want me to enjoy life and experience the world as he and Mom did when they were my age so his passing and Mom's Alzheimer's keeps me traveling in honor of them. But, that's me.

You have to do what works for the two of you and no one else's solution is to be weighed as heavily as your own.

WELCOME! The more the merrier!

Looks adorable - I much prefer it to the "wedge"... and yes you can ship a box to our state room - I won't be sending anything ahead.

I too - have to call the bank and Disney Visa - but I have plenty of time yet... I DID pick up my disposable undersater camera for the snorkeling excursion after a lovely breakfast with my OH-SO fabulous sister and her new hair!

Got everything into one box for the ship. Called the bank and the credit card company. Still have a new disposble underwater camera from the WBPC. :thumbsup2

Weaned out clothes from the packing pile (as I had bought a few new things a week or so ago). Figured out what to wear to work Thu and my Friday travel outfit. Got M-W work clothes ready (so I don't accidentally wear something I wanted to pack). Did three loads of wash to accomplish all that. Made an actual packing list.

Still have to: color my hair, download pics and clear memory in the camera...may just take a nap first!

I picked up Faith yesterday from the vet and the poor little thing was so druggy she just wanted to FIGHT going to sleep. Her little head would bounce on the bed... finally she gave up and had a nice rest. She ate this morning after having teeth removed and I got her meds in her - but her poor little face looks a bit swollen today - she's resting though and her Daddy stayed and read in bed with her so she'd be comfy looking out the big window at our back yard (bird watching) in between sleeping. Now that I'm home, all of us are in bed playing "we are shipwrecked" - me on computer, Daddy - reading and nodding off to sleep and Hope looking at me as if to say "MUST YOU USE BOTH HANDS ON THE COMPUTER" - my belly needs to be rubbed...

Ahhhhh the good life. Chores will wait...:)

I must stop by and give Faith some loving. :dog: Probably after I hit Fed Ex to send the box to Monica. Anything good on TV tonight?

Have you gone to Fed X yet? I totally forgot to find you back on chat on Facebook - I'm so sorry - I was making money harvesting ... I know I know step AWAY from the farming... anyway - DQ tonight? Since we were "good" last night and didn't go...

Faith is "milking" all the extra attention... the little weasel face! I'll call you.

MONICA, I got off my butt and did my credit card. Thank heavens now I can hog my tile lounger and not ask everyone else to pay for it. Oh never mind, I'm still asking LOL :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

It is 96 now in San Jose. Ungodly hot for us here and a bit humid. I think DCL sent us this weather to make us feel at home :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

It feels slightly like Panama Crossing, only not as fun :sad2:

I agree, the heat was bad today and certainly humid. It hit 102 today in the Berkley Hills (we went up to the Lawrence Hall of Science - they had NO air conditioning...)

Hopefully it will be cooler tomorrow!

Well, today we did our packing, 99% of it at least.

For some reason, this time, packing seemed like quite an ordeal, probably because of the crawling into the closet and having to drag stuff out.

We have 6 packing cubes of various sizes and we used all of them. So, now all that will be left is the last minute stuff, and we'll be off to WDW in about 5 days.

Packed already. I'm impressed :worship::worship::worship::worship:

I will probably be packing until midnight on Friday - we have to get up at 3am to catch our flight out on Saturday am.

Our flight out on Friday is at 8AM, I have a shuttle coming at about 5AM to pick us up.

If we didn't get it done today, I don't know when we would have. I'm too crabby when I get home from work to deal with something like packing.

:thumbsup2Here's some info I saw on a thread about Castaway Cay. I think this is from the Baltimore Sun. OP is trying to find a link:

Our Sunday paper has an article in the travel section about the updates to CC planned for the larger ships.

The stingray adventure and the teen beach will be relocated and the family beach extended.
There will be a water play area in Scuttles Cove, the kids programming area.
There will be cabanas with floors, fridges, dining area, bartender.
The are adding Pelican Plunge - two corkscrew slides for ALL ages in the family lagoon.
The tram will have a stop further down on the family beach.
Another food outlet serving the same food called "Cookies Too" (not too creative on that one)

I'll try to find a link to the story.

It should be complete by next summer.

Note to self: Remember to budget for cabana!!! :thumbsup2

I see you are still up -
This would be really cool if they had it done 4 this cruise - but alias - something to look forward to. I am still up too - although slightly more in repose...\ I still haven't remembered what that other item is that is at my house that you need - but at least you got your FE cable thing and a few extra for anyone who forgets...

IAN - can you come help me pack now? I was all excited but now I am dreading it... maybe that "excitement" will come back around when the packing cubes/folders arrive - I'm so excited for you leaving next week!!!:thumbsup2:woohoo::yay:

Well, hello again, sister! Yes, I think I'll manage to stay awake till 10PM. I'm cruising around the theme park and restraunt forums...just want to be up to the minute on what's going on out there...don't want to miss anything!

Oh, if it was my swimsuit...I got that while you were in New Mexico. :thumbsup2

I should be able to get in the water by the time I arrive at WDW....if the stiches have dissolved I figure I'm good to go!

..

I am soooooo sorry to read that. It must be terribly hard on her. I hated to read that. My grandson has epilepsy and they can't get him under control. It started when he was two and he is now four and on the ketogenic diet. Helps a tad but the seizures aren't gone. His mom had seizures as well starting at the same age but it only took a few months to get her under control and they called that difficult. Told us that it isn't heriditary but now they are rethinking it. My brother was diagnosed the same year as my grandson. My other daughter is afraid to have kids. The same week that my grandson started the keto diet her "coach" that has been through it with her son lost her few month old niece to seizures. She had a 45 minute one. I got through it with my daughter with the attitude that it could be worse. I can't convince her that it will get better. I don't even believe it. Our family kind isn't one every so often, it can be a 100 per day or it can be 5 or 6.

So sorry

No that wasn't it - but good thing YOU remembered that!!!!:thumbsup2

PecoBill, I am sure glad that you out grew the seizures! Our family has several different types and that is what is so hard to control.

Peggy Jo, yes, my DD and grandson both had/have up to 100 seizures per day. That is when you quit counting and just face the facts until the next day. We are HUGE on documenting everything in a notebook so we count them. I don't know what possessed me to keep all of her records but they have helped so much with my grandson. They keep trying different meds and different combinations. He is on a schedule as of today of 6 pills in the morning, 4 in the afternoon and another 6 at night. Bless his heart, he is so drugged that he has pretty much stopped talking and is always sleepy & cold. He sleeps through preschool and he needs that desperately. There is nothing wrong with his brain so he CAN learn but he is running behind now. Same think with my DD but she did so well that she graduated on the honor roll in HS and cum laude in college. I pray my grandson has the same outcome. He is the little one on the left in my signature. His twin sister is the other little one. Working up the picture is my step twin granddaughters and then the older two girls are my twin daughters.

3 sets of twins! :woohoo:

I will be sending out emails today with the walking teams, so if you had signed up, please look to your email boxes later (or your spam folders as the case may be).
Got it. Great job, as usual.
