September 12, 2009 ~ Last Call for Tortola! Thread 2

We're going with a modest collection of door magnets (don't want to freak the family out). Each door will have Mickey ears and a family sign. Mine will also have an ibounce DIS sign and a cute Tinkerbell one for Dianne (don't tell, it's a surprise). I think Peg is working on a couple for her door too.

I haven't decided on FE gift yet, HOWEVER, I was kind of assuming some of us would do a 'pitch in' for laynards for this cruise. Guess it's time to start talking about that, eh? Lets see....did Monica volunteer for that?


Well, I'm off to the office for a few hours, then I just may go see "Up".

Lanyards shouldn't be too hard to do because we don't have as many DISers on this trip as we did on the PC cruise.

I do think it is worth posting a list of who has expressed interest and how it will work in detail. Then an invitation for others to join so that those who have not committed can better decide.

Brecelets are a nice idea--wish I had accepted the offer of one on the WBPC.

I think Nan offered to head up lanyards.

Door signs ... not sure if we'll have any this time or not. I haven't made up my mind. The Panama ones are loooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnng gone. If I did any, I would use my the same cheapo method I used last time. I'm not going to shell out for the magnetic sheets.


I don't know what I would put up on the door anyway. I really have nothing to say.

About the only thing I can think of is this:

Me too. I will be getting up at 5am, but not sure we will get a Palo ressie. That cruise is going to be quiet and relaxing all the way!!! Only 2 sea days so even less chance of getting a Brunch ressie.

I did the Western last November and we were able to get brunch reservations during check-in. It wasn't even crowded and the food delicious.

If anyone is interested in an FE exchange please let me know how many children, adults, and room number if you have it. We can use the cutoff date of July 12 for those who want to participate. I can then send the list to everyone. If you don't know the room number (like me) I will get the final room rouster closer to ship time. This is my first one.

Well I thought I could just cheat so I went to page 1 post 1 and found out that you and Sukie are in SR 6011. Jackie and Marilyn are 6600 and 6630....that's not near you. I looked for Monica, Kathe and Cheri just to find out that none of them have SR numbers listed.

How are we going to hand out FE gifts if we don't have SR numbers for everyone??? I think everybody needs to let Jan know their SR number so that she can put it on the list for our giftgiving.

In the end, I couldn't cheat because the list is not complete. So I have no idea who is on either side of you.....but it's still a good sign.

Thank you so much for doing this.....I was getting a little perplexed that we wouldn't have SR numbers for everyone and therefore would not know who to give out the FE gifts to.

I feel much better knowing that you have it under control. YEAH!

Let me know who is on both sides of Ian and Sukie's room please. hahahaha.
