Will there be any preview photos?:thumbsup2

No, one should alway consider the element of surprise when making an entrance. In this information age, people simply don't understand the element of surprise anymore.

I'm certain that both Louis XIV and Alice Longworth Roosevelt understood these (Well let's face it, any of the Edwardians understood this, though Louis XIV was to the best of my knowledge not Edwardian).

It's bad enough that two of the ensembles have been seen before.

Though I will say that we will have real bow ties with our tuxes. Ever since I learned how to tie a real bow tie last year (thank you You Tube) I have become a snob.

g/retirement celebrations. So I'm a very happy camper. :thumbsup2

I got the 9:45am Tortola Dolphin Adventure for Di and I....is anybody else doing this?

.

No, I think I booked the Ceremonial Caribbean Bead and Basket Making excursion, though I'm now thinking that that might too wild for Sukie, who is proving to be an über-poop.

I booked the land/sea warm milk and digestive biscuits tour of Tortola for us.

On Castaway Cay I did book parasailing for myself and the Stingray Encounter for both of us.

I told Hisselfness about the stingray encounter this morning. Sukie wanted to know what you feed them. I said, probably shellfish or fish, he grimaced (you have to remember he's been a vegetarian for the past 30 years or so). I said, "What do you think you feed stingray? Tofu and nut-burger? Maybe some nice vegan tofu cheesecake?"

We shall see about the stingray encounter.

The the clustering happen before the cruise? I'll keep checking. Going solo so I just need a little space in a corner.:)

I'm sure there are lots of people to join for lunch, brunch, dinner.

Ask Monica, we met her on a 4-night about 3 years ago and has been stuck with us ever since.

It's very easy to add a 3rd and/or 4th on.

OK, enough babbling for one morning. I've got to go off to work and help the universe be healthy.

Not exactly, but will be able to tweek on the ship. We should be good.

Most importantly we were both able to book Palo dinner for Thursday night, as that is the night we had chosen for the 'official' birthday/wedding/retirement celebrations. So I'm a very happy camper. :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 Yay! You did well Jackie!

Is anyone else doing the Day at the Baths?

I'll have to stay up late next Sat night and try this all over again for the western portion (I'm doing the B2B). I'm really hoping I can get the brunch for my daughter and I since it's her first cruise. I know I'll be able to book a table for two if one's available, but for the excursions, I can only book mine because she isn't a CC member. We really want the dolphin excursion in Cozumel, it's my birthday gift to her, but I don't know if I'll have luck with it or not. I'll have to book mine at 90 days then try to get her the same time at 75 days :confused3

I thought your CC status enabled you to book for anyone in your cabin.

When we took our kids on the 2006 cruise there was a Nassau snorkeling excusrion we wanted that came up full every time I checked on line so we booked another.

At the show the night before Nassau, Cruise Director Rick listed several excursions that still had space and that was one. After the show I hurried to see if we could change. We could and we did. There were maybe a dozen people--there could have been 30 or more.

We won't pay in full until the deadline. With the baby we are going to decide hour by hour what to do. I will see if Sarah and I can get Palo brunch or tea as a ladies treat, but it sure is looking unlikely.

But it's OK, any day on a Disney ship is a good one!!

Jan, according to DCL, I asked when I called to pay in full, I can't book for Sara until 75 days even though she's in my cabin, except for Palo. Of course, I'll try just in case!

And you are right, any and every day on the Wonder is a good one!!

Hi Folks,

Can you please provide me with a list of what the onboard dining schedule is for the cruise ie. when is Pirate's, Captain's gala, etc.

Thank you so much!

Good luck to all for excursions, etc. tonight!

:boat: WELCOME ABOARD :sail:

I have added you to post 1 page 1, in alphabetical order by DIS name.

The * before your entry indicates your intention to be on this cruise. Those with no * are the people who were on thread 1 but have not checked in for over a year so we doubt if they are still on this cruise. When someone checks in, the * goes on.

Please check out that post and see the accumulated information from members of this thread. Some have added a lot of info about themselves, some have not. As people found websites of interest, we added them there also.

A group of us who sailed together thought it would be nice to have all the activities listed in one place and some indicator of who was interested in each so post 1 is what evolved.

Others wanted photos, so post 2 evolved into that. If you want to post a photo or info, put it on the thread or send it by PM and I will move it there.

Me too. I will be getting up at 5am, but not sure we will get a Palo ressie. That cruise is going to be quiet and relaxing all the way!!! Only 2 sea days so even less chance of getting a Brunch ressie.

Ian....you crack me up! And yes, you are correct, Louis XIV was not an Edwardian...:lmao:

Kathe, we can check with Peg when she wakes up, but I'm sure she was able to book and excursion for herself (CC member) and her cabin mate (DH, first time cruiser) last night. And yes, she was able to book only Palo for the first time cruiser cabin that was linked to hers.

YEAH!! On both counts.

Nan & I got Palo for Thurs at 730p - what time will you be there?

I thought I remembered from somewhere that they also did the brunch on Key West day so there are still 3 chances?

Oh now that would be nice as we aren't doing an excursion so don't have to hurry off the ship.

Has anyone done any cruise door magnets? We had so many for the PC cruise but I haven't thought of this one yet. I don't want a naked door!!!

Also I haven't decided on FE yet?

Family dinner, 7PM (we picked semi-formal night so that we wouldn't have to dress up a 3rd time)

Yes, they do have Palo brunch on Key West day (since you don't dock till noonish).:thumbsup2

We're recycling ours from the PC cruise. We had many that were generic.

I already have all my FE gifts. I'm ready to go.

We're going with a modest collection of door magnets (don't want to freak the family out). Each door will have Mickey ears and a family sign. Mine will also have an ibounce DIS sign and a cute Tinkerbell one for Dianne (don't tell, it's a surprise). I think Peg is working on a couple for her door too.

I haven't decided on FE gift yet, HOWEVER, I was kind of assuming some of us would do a 'pitch in' for laynards for this cruise. Guess it's time to start talking about that, eh? Lets see....did Monica volunteer for that? :lmao:

Well, I'm off to the office for a few hours, then I just may go see "Up".

Oh, I would love lanyards. Otherwise you will see us in our PC ones!!!
I would have to print out a little card insert though. Or, I can just leave the PC one in. Mmmm, I wonder where they are.:confused3

I think I saved some of the door magnets that were re usable, just need to find them, I guess they will be in the same place as the lanyards.:lmao:
