How was Sanna? We're thinking about trying it in Nov., but I can't decide between it or Yak & Yeti. Gotta choose one or the other though.:confused3

Thank you Ellaenchanted!!!!

The info you provided was great......not too long for us before we cruise now!!!

Cheers:worship:

We ate at Sanaa in May. It was on the lower side of OK. I had a chicken curry that was not among the best I've had, and Sukie had a vegetarian dish that was downright nasty, some conglomeration of undercooked eggplant in a nasty tasteless dough.

The naan bread was good though, as was the hummus sampler.

We frequently go to Indian restaurants and like Indian food, so we have a base of comparison.

My brother and I ate there in May as well. It was the first time I've ever left a Table Service place hungry. I had the tandori lamp chops, never saw such teeny tiny chops in my life. It was a beautiful setting, but I won't be back.

But then that's why they make both chocolate and vanilla, different strokes for different folks.

Just curious, did you eat about 5:30, and did they make another couple move from the table to seat you? If so, we were the couple that they first seated and then moved. Odd experience to say the least.

No, we had an ADR for around 6:15 PM and were made to wait until about 7PM or so until we were seated.

The decor and the ambiance of Sanaa is outstanding. I thought it was a beautiful restaurant. The food did not live up to the decor.

I don't think we'll be back to Sanaa, but Boma and Jiko continue to be favorites of ours.

As CC folks can book their Palo res at midnight tonight (9pm PDT) I thought I'd go in and take a look at what times were still available for brunch. I'm already booked because I ante'd up for the full price REAS

Here's what I found

Sunday both 10:30 and 11:30 are available. 11 am is booked solid

Monday 11 am and 11:30 are available

Thursday, only 10:30 is available.

Here's the dinner availability

Actually, the only dinner reservation that is not available is 8pm on Sunday, everything else seems to be open.

Tea,

Sunday and Thursday are the only High Tea reservation available.

Hope this helps with your pre planning.

You're very welcome. Glad it helped.

The Summer will go by very quickly and before you know it, we'll be boarding. YEAH!

Ain't that the truth. After Disney in a couple of weeks. This will be our next thing to really look forward to, so summer can fly by as far as I'm concerned.

It will.....it always does.....see you at the Port real soon.:cloud9:

I'm still trying to decide whether or not we are going to dress up on the cruise, or just be slobs. Suits are not an option, because I don't see the point.

My key decision is, whether or not I start ordering the accoutrements this weekend.

(I've even dragged Jackie in to helping me choose them)

I vote to dress up. I think that's the fun of a cruise. However if you want to be a slob, there's nothing wrong with that too. You are on vacation after all.

I just remembered I have to make four sets of Mickey ears for the cruise, my set is getting a little ratty....:rotfl::rotfl:This time I'm going to use black felt that SPARKLES.

We have a fourth cabin in our party now. My sister-in-law's mother is going on the cruise too! She got the inside stateroom across the hall from my brother. She's 78, so we'll have another geezer to add to the late night cookies and hot chocolate crowd. :thumbsup2 None of us girls have met her...I hope my brother warned her...:lmao:

You MAKE your own Mickey Ears? :confused3

:lmao::lmao: Jackie, she is going to be one lucky lady :goodvibes

She is on page 1 post 1 now

Sister - you need to show me what to do!!!! I've never booked an online ressie before because we were always together :lovestruc also, do we have to list the "time" we want the ressie? HELP!!!! I need details.

I lived on LI - 1979-1984 ( I was still in junior high in 70-72... ) But one thing I can say, is I fell in love with upstate NY... beautiful mountains and I am a mountain gal (I was just talking to Bubba about that... why am I cruising beach places when it's the mountains that call me? Oh yeah, MY SISTER!!!!:rotfl::lmao:;)

The Mountains are lovely --- IN THE SUMMER --- and the SPRING --- and the FALL!! but in the winter, give me a BEACH!!

For a kid who grew up in the northland, skiing every Saturday there was snow and walking daily to the bus stop in snow, who never saw the ocean until she was in Junior High, I sure love the OCEAN!!

And ESPECIALLY when on a DISNEY SHIP!! :sail:

Unless I missed it I haven't seen anybody leading a FE for the cruise. If no one minds I would be willing to put it together.:flower3: This is my first one but I think I got the grasp. You can PM if you want. I saw there are 18 of us who listed interest.

Thanks for volunteering. Feel free to post info here so that those who are CONSIDERING will get enough info to decide to commit or not. I will add you to page 1 post 1 as the organizer also :thumbsup2

You're hired. I worked on the MASTER LIST on my last cruise and we had 400ish DISers. I'm all listed out.

I'll do one for the Champagne Girls and one for Fishlips and that's enough for me this cruise.

If you want to do it, we would love to help you and get a copy of it when you're done.

Noted on page 1 post 1 in PINK!!:cutie:

I think I feel another t-shirt coming on, with the caption, "If you can't say something nice, come sit next to me."

Those Roosevelts, they do get around!

Ian, wasn't one of Sr. Winston Churchill's ancestresses a Roosevelt?
