Hi Michelle.

How about you organise your Aunt and Uncle's wedding anniversary 'do'. The week BEFORE the cruise!!!

It's an idea...

Don't your aunt and uncle know that 60th wedding anniversaries are supposed to be celebrated on the Disney Magic???:confused3

That's another idea...

:cheer2: And THEREIN lies the solution. :thumbsup2

:surfweb: Michelle will plan the event. :cool1: Her Aunt and Uncle will be mega-impressed ::yes:: with the quality and caliber of the food, accommodations, entertainment, etc

and

:rotfl2: We will all be invited. :rotfl:
.

& another good idea...

Now... who's going to strong arm my cousins into letting me do this...

It's a thought... My uncle is a bit shaky on his feet though...

OK, I'll post the links right on here when I find some good ones.:thumbsup2

Well it ain't Cabo.....I spent a lot of time today looking up hotels on Tortola and St. Thomas. I wanted something with an easily accessible pool and beach. Here's the best of what I found.

This is the best priced, nicest one on Tortola.

This is the best one on St. Thomas.

I was going to do what I did at Atlantis.....get a room for one night so that I could use all the facilities for the day. It would cost as much as paying for both of us to do a DCL excursion. I could get the least expensive room because I wouldn't be in it, but would have it for a shower and change of clothes if I wanted to do so.

Instead, I think we'll just be doing some sort of bus tour of each island and going back to the pool and Signals on the boat. Unless my legs are all cleared up, I can't go in the pool and John does not like the beach. So if I'm not going in the water anyway, I might as well save the money and do it on the boat. John said we'll talk about it more as time gets closer. We also have to see how my legs are by then.

:joker:

If anyone can SELL the idea of a Disney Cruise it is MICHELLE! :cool1:

And

 A friend of ours broke his ankle in several places less than a month before their FAMILY CHRISTMAS CRUISE. He went in a wheelchair as he was not to bear any weight on it. They had a great time, including him. :thumbsup2

??? You quoted yourself but you changed what you had quoted ???

:confused3

You'll notice Deb often responds within the quoted message, usually in a different color than the original post. You just don't usually see her responding to HERSELF! :lmao: :lmao:

No more early wake up for St. Thomas customs! No more hauling yourself to the WD Theater at the crack of dawn that morning! It means after we leave Tortola we can party like rock stars!

:cool1: :cheer2: :cool1: :cheer2: :cool1: :cheer2: :cool1:

Just saw a post on the main cruise thread. I'd been searching for Shirley's thread to send the link to Peg. She & Jose are going to stay after the cruise and do the space center Sat/Sun then head over to WDW for a few days. :thumbsup2

Does anybody remember (or want to look up) the "Eastern" schedule?

You know...which is formal, semi-formal, priate night, etc. I'm sure our schedule will be the same, as we are just switching out one port of call.

Time for me to hit the shower and head off to the exciting world of broadcasting.
