Not as bad as mine!!!:lmao: I had a bit of a disturbed night, and it seemed I was thinking of names all night long.

Mickey's Crew - Homewood bound.

Transatlantic Trippers.

Adios Spain, see you next year.

Mmmm, oh dear!!

I hope I don't spend all tonight coming up with more such offerings.:lmao:

Keep them coming, they are good for inspiration if nothing else.

Cruising on the Magic to Mickey......
Bringing the Magic to Mickey......... I kinda like this one????
Magic Mates cruise the Atlantic.......
All Aboard, the Magic's coming home........

OK, not very good with words, don't we have any authors or poets here???

I'm liking lots of these! I think Karen will have to set up another poll with all the new additions. :)

Do any of you guys that just done the WBTA have any hotel recommendations for Barcelona please.

We have been only one night in Barcelona we stayed at Frontair congress, good hotel not in the centre.

There's a list on our last forum.

There are some fantastic ideas and we would be happy to be apart of them (me, Dan (DH) & Sam (DS3);)

I have been thinking of names you could also have From sangria to Space mountain

Hi Emma! We *almost* named DD2 Emma after my great-grandmother, but tweaked it to Emilie the night before her birth. This board is definitely picking up!! :yay:

I like the Sangria thrown in the name!!! ;)

We stayed at the Praktik Rambla which was lovely and quaint. Plus, it was just a few minutes away from Las Ramblas, and on a lovely street itself. We were planning on staying there again, but at the moment the rates have gone up quite a bit, so will look next year.

I was looking at that one the other day, was it much cheaper this year then?

Well the first night was 90 Euros and the next 3 nights were 120 Euros per night. Last time I looked it was over 130 Euros per night next year. This cruise is a week earlier, so we thought we would be into the cheaper rate, but it appears not.

I don't think you need to book early so we could keep our eyes open for deals. It was so convenient.

We are just staying Friday night so we are going to stay at the Barcelona Marriott Renassance Airport Hotel. They have free transportation to the airport and the city center. Also, for 10 Euros for adults and 5 Euros for children they have a shuttle that goes to the pier. Last year it left at 11AM, 12PM and 1PM.

I agree being on La Rambla is convenient if you plan to stay for a few days. We stayed at the Le Meridien last year and it was great for walking around La Rambla.

The only thing I am going to do this year is eat in a tapas restaurant and go shopping for wine etc. in the supermarket at El Corte Ingles.

It looks really nice & very central. We are arriving on Thursday afternoon so want somewhere quite central to do a little exploring on Friday so it seems ideal.

Lets hope we manage to get a deal. :thumbsup2

Thanks Noel, i'll check out Le Meriden aswell.

I plan to do a little supermarket/wine shopping too. Whereabouts is El Corte Ingles is it near La Rambla?

It is in the Playa Catalunya, a large square at the top of Las Ramblas. It seems to be a main drop off point for buses, and the Hoho buses go from there too. A bit of a central hub really. The Hard Rock Cafe is there. The Praktic Rambla is a couple of blocks above there, the road just continues up from Las Ramblas.

It is a more expensive Starwood hotel. We stayed on points last year. Here is the link: Le Merdien

If you click on the El Corte Ingles link in my previous post you can get directions. The supermarket/department store was just a couple blocks from out hotel, up the street from the Hard Rock Cafe.

Thanks, I did click on the link but I don't speak Spanish so couldn't find the directions. :)
