Welcome aboard. Please introduce yourself and your DH and tell us more about yourself.

No DH as far as I'm aware off, but who knows what that's worth? ;) What do you want to know? Just ask and I'll answer. :)

Welcome aboard Michelle and Goofieslonglostsis! :welcome:

Thanks!

Hello...your secret is safe with me;)
That is the flights we booked this morning, Aer Lingus from MCO - DUB - MAN. Easy Jet are booked for our trip over to Barcelona. We were going to hold out for Virgin Atlantic's reward seats, but couldn't wait any longer.

Thank you.:wave2:

Ah yes, the known Virgin. Have been looking into that one myself also. Cheap compared to many others, but sure doesn't beat the Dublinners. Guess you'll have to spend those miles on a future trip, poor you! :lmao: You're booked to fly back on the 24th? Or are you guys planning some Florida days after the cruise also?

Hi guys :wave2:

just booked myself on this cruise! Not sure yet if it'll indeed happen or not, but at least it's booked. Was kinda surprised -happily- there was an accessible stateroom left. They tend to be hard to come by, esp. if you're very specific in which ones of those you'ld want and which not like me. So a big :woohoo: when one did still turned out available.

Lots of things still need to fall into place for this one to have a final "go", but oh boy do I hope it does all fall into place! Oh right, you guys probably want to know more than "she booked". As my nick says; I'm Goofies one and only real long lost sis. Don't have his ears or face, but sure do have his clumsiness and good intentions! Am 31, have a love for Disney that is becoming a nasty spreading infection and will also earn me the title Best Auntie when my first niece or nephew is born next year, and always start out Disneytrips planning and booking solo. Last 3 trips didn't end up with me going solo, each time somebody decided to tag along. This cruise is booked as a solo but I've learned not to say that out loud as a fact anymore. :rolleyes1

Hi and welcome.

We're planning a few days in WDW before flying home...but we're not thinking about coming home yet:goodvibes

yeah, he's our dog, the little bundle of fluff is a german shepherd. that photo was when he was 2 months old:

he's now 6 years old, and this is him all grown up :)

He is gorgeous as a puppy and now as an adult.
I have lost both of my dogs, in the last 2 years from old age. They were Cocker Spaniels, so a lot smaller. I am still trying to convince myself I dont want another ;).

Hello everyone:wave:

We've actually been booked on this cruise for awhile, but didn't know for sure if we would be sailing as we needed to find decent flights first.
We've just booked our flights so it looks as though we'll be sailing along with you.

Looking forward to getting to know you, if you'll let me:)
Some of you I recognize from the UK forums and other boards.

Hello and :welcome:. I dont know whether we know each other or not.
Hi guys :wave2:

Hello and :welcome:

Anyway I am Jan, travelling with my DH Carl. We come from Oxford in the UK.
We were also on the Transatlantic this year. :)

Thank you. We asked the kids to send something to the cruise as we didn't need any more things to collect.

What a good idea for presents. Did you manage to eat and drink it all :lmao:.

Hope that you hear real soon that your holiday is approved. What can we do to cheer you up?

the baileys is doing that for you! and the day off tomorrow is helping too ;)
thanks for the concern though, just had a rough couple of days at work. its really nice to see the thread picking up though, its nice logging in to see a page or two of new posts here, and more new cruisers too :)
the wierd thing is, the thing thats annoying me most about not hearing whether its been approved or not, isnt whether i'm going to get it in the end or not, its the fact that i really want to start helping with the planning and starting the new thread, and i cant do that until i hear back! :rotfl:

I know just what you mean as I was really active on a thread for two years and then at the last minute we had to cancel. What a disappointment!!

bet that was a real downer :( i really want to get things started with this thread, but its not fair to anyone if i start then dont end up going. so i guess i just need to be patient and keep on waiting!
its so nice to get to know our fellow cruisers though, our first meet thread only got to 9 pages so didnt really get to meet any people there. our second thread was awesome, it was only a 3 nighter, but we're on part 2 of the thread now and we still keep in contact with our table mates :) and out last thread has now died, but again we're still in contact with our table mates, and we're actually going to stay with them in NC after the cruise. it makes so much difference when you've got good table mates, and a good meet thread. makes the cruise all the more enjoyable :)

I agree completely. We have met some great DISers on several of our cruises. I think the last WBTA was the best cruise yet!!

Welcome to the new additions!! :) It is great to see the activity. I'm still reading all of this year's WBTA threads - WOW! So much stuff!!

We are exploring the idea of spending a few days in Milan prior to Barcelona, and then hopping over to Barcelona the day prior to the cruise around lunch. Get a brief tour of Barcelona. (It seems a lot of cruise itineraries include Barcelona, so hopefully we will be back in the future.) I have been wanting to see an additional area since we are flying so far, so we will see if this pans out. Curt is very intrigued by the idea though.

I also agree. We have had only one cruise of not-so-great tablemates, and really felt badly for our waiter and asst waiter because of them. The rest have been awesome tablemates, some of whom we had met on cruiseboards ahead of time.

Hi Jan, yes we know one another from another forum. My name should give it away ;)
