You are already my FB friend!! By the way, did you do the Baltic cruise?

I know you & John are. :) No we didn't do the Baltic in the end we switched to the Dream MV.....we just couldn't justify the cost of the Baltic.

Noel, what would you think of doing in Madeira? I think you almost saw everything on your tour. I suppose some places you could go back to for a longer look.

We just walked into town. That was what we had planned all along. Unfortunately I wasn't good at all that day, so we only got out for an hour or so in the afternoon. We had stayed in Madeira for a week a few years ago though. It is a beautiful island isn't it, and you really got to see so much.

Neither could we. We cancelled quite early on I think. I don't know how DCL could charge so much to be honest. I feel a bit the same about Alaska, and would go with another cruise line there. I think anywhere that is port intensive would be just fine on another line. Our daughter just got back yesterday from a week on NCL in the Med. First cruise and they just loved it.

It's no wonder they struggled to fill the Baltic/Med cruises, they are crazily overpriced. :sad2: They had some last minute deals on the Med one's this year but they appear to be having the same problem for summer 2011 so I bet they will reduce them again.

We were going to do Alaska next year but switched to this one instead. We still want to do Alaska in a couple of years time but I think we may end up going with a different line.

Glad to hear your daughter had a nice time. :)

Eusébia suggested a tour to the Eastern side of the Island. Also, we might be there this time for the wine crush so maybe we will go to the wineries. John and I are thinking we might want to go to the Porto Moniz Pools as we didn't get to swim last time.

I noticed the seas were rough on Kimberley's photographs. Sounds a good idea to go back then.

sounds like you organised an amazing tour. for that price we'd definately be in if someone arranges another one!

Yes, the seas were rough and the pools were closed but definitely something we would like to try if the seas were calm.

Uhoh, the thread is moving, I'm going to start ignoring my kids and family again!!! :goodvibes

a name sounds good, havent got a clue what to suggest though! it does seem that a lot of the repo's always take the captain jack route, but coming from someone who's not a fan of POTC, something more original could be cool!

Thinking, thinking.......

I really like the sound of High Tea, you never know if the men folk don't fancy it then perhaps we could arrange a ladies only one. ;)

I've been trying to think of names but so far the only thing I came up with is "To the Atlantic & beyond" as in Buzz Lightyear "To infinity & beyond" but it's a bit rubbish. :lmao:

Yes, they did have a high tea, and a ladies High tea would be fun, I don't think many of the boys like High tea? ;)
I like your name, very cute...

I think I used "From Spain to the Space Coast ~ Taking the Magic Home" on one of my door magnets... Actually it might've been "From Spain to Space Mountain" - I can't remember... :teeth:

Love it......Keep them coming....

I'm still proud. We did a good job.

You and Noel, and John did a fantastic job and should be very proud! :)

If people would like, I could PM Erik and ask him for the artwork for the design of the lanyard and we could do something similar. Erik could tell me where he purchased the lanyards, cost etc. We could use our logo and the flags if people like that design idea.

What do you guys think?

Yay, Lanyards, I like the current picture that you and I have on our siggie too!

At least time it won't be two years!!

Keep those suggestions coming!!

I think it will be hard to arrange a high tea unless we have some in a concierge suite join the thread and volunteer to arrange the tea like Sue did.

Thank you.

Me too. We would need a head count and either people could pay or we could do like we did last time get a lanyard group who pays each for a portion.

Hi everyone

I have just been reading up on all the threads, it is really picking up pace now..:woohoo:

There are some fantastic ideas and we would be happy to be apart of them (me, Dan (DH) & Sam (DS3);)

I have been thinking of names you could also have From sangria to Space mountain and The Transatlantic Amigos.

I dont know if this is the kind of thing you are looking for but I will keep my thinking cap on

OK, I'm so not good at this, maybe someone can work with them?

Hi Ho, Hi Ho It's across the Atlantic we go.....

Crossing the Atlantic with Mickey and the Magic..........

The Mouseketeers on the Magic 2011.....

Clearly, I need help....:confused3:confused3:confused3

Transatlantic Trippers.

I hope I don't spend all tonight coming up with more such offerings.:lmao:
