Can you pay for Disney transport from the Airport to Hotel/Hotel to Port if you booked your hotel on your own or can you only get it if you booked your hotel with Disney directly?

Hi. We just did the WBTA.(and have booked for 2011 WBTA) Arrived in BCN at 10.30 Saturday 18th, got a taxi from the rank outside, and were checking in at the ship at 11.00 all for 30 Euros for two people and all our luggage! Best deal ever, more convenient than waiting for DCL and cheaper too!
Hope this helps.
Jane and Dave.

Hi Jane & Dave

Who are you flying with and where from? Thats a good deal for the transfer who is that with?

Hi all!

Was on this year's WBTA and I loved it so much, have booked to sail again next year!!! :cool1:

So far it's a solo reservation but I'm hoping I might be able to persuade either my DH or my DD to join me - we'll see... Good to see some familiar faces...

Hey, so you have booked. I hope you do make the trip. As I do all of us of course.:dance3:

Thanks, Marilyn! I hope I don't NEED it like I did this year but I'm sure I'll want it... ;)

Hi Emma.
We booked Easyjet from Liverpool then just picked up a taxi from the rank outside arrivals - no waiting at all. We've just arrived back this morning after 5 extra days - Aer Lingus from Orlando MCO, the only people who seem to do a single.
Hope this helps.

Hello!

I was just taking a look at this cruise and it looks great! I am trying to convince DH to book it. We have cruised before (not with Disney) and loved it. He is just concerned that 14 days is too long. Silly DH. And that it is hurricane season. It has been awhile since I have flown overseas.... what is airfare looking like from the East Coast? We are in the Philly area. Any advice or experiences I can share with him?!

Btw.. it would be ME (31) DH (40) and DS (4 at the time). Hoping to join you all!

Thanks!

Hi Jane & Dave

I booked our flights with Monarch out of Manchester and have been checking out Virgin Atlantic for the return. I could do with a direct flight back as my DS will be 3 and it would be much fun adding a extra 6 hours on the journey. I know it will be a lot more expensive but he would be a nightmare :scared1:

We are booked - me (37) DH (almost 39) DD1 (turning 5 a few days before embarkation) and DD2 (15 mon) at time of cruise. To help convince him... my hubby has decided that 7 days is now too short for cruising (have done seven of those) and we also know once DD1 starts kindergarten, we won't be able to take cruises during the school year. To take a transatlantic cruise, we need to do it now or wait another 17+ years when the girls are out of school. We also got the Disney credit card so we could do 6 months to pay off since I am staying home with the baby now - that gives you a $50 OBC and $40 first-time statement credit, in addition to 1% rewards that you can cash in to use on the ship.

Some friends of ours are about to leave on their third transatlantic cruise - they won't do anything shorter! They are totally hooked on them now.

So... get the credit card, book it, and you have until May to cancel. Then tell him about it later. Isn't it always better to ask for forgiveness than permission? ;)

~ Mandy

plus if you book it now, there's a good chance that the prices will go up later, and you might not be able to get the category or room location that you want :) as long as you cancel before the final payment date you can get your deposit back anyway

Does anyone know if Carys, the OP of this thread is still on the cruise? It might be nice to get post 1 updated with all the new folk's names and it looks like that hasn't been done since Februar. I was just wondering. Nice to get some planning done.

Have you sent them a PM to see if they are still on the cruise?

I don't know, it's been really quiet until this past week or so, when there's been a whole bunch of new cruisers join from the past WBTA :goodvibes

I have no objection if someone wants to start a new thread to keep the first post updated and maybe give a name to our cruise group :thumbsup2

Maybe someone should send the Carys a PM first to see if they are still on the cruise before someone starts a new thread.

Just my thoughts...

I've just sent Carys a PM. I hope she isn't offended, and gets back to us.

I'm not starting a new thread. I just said *IF* someone wanted to, I was okay with it.

I've been on this board since 29th March and the first post wasn't updated then to included us or anyone else since then. :sad2:
I hope that I didn't offend you as I didn't think you were going to start a new thread. I was just thinking out loud to see if maybe someone should send a PM to the Cary's to see if they are still on the cruise.

I don't think the moderators would want us to start a new thread until this one is full. If I am wrong, I am sure someone will quickly correct me.

I also saw Marilyn sent a PM to the Carys to see if they are still on the cruise.

Please accept my apology if you thought I was stepping on your toes in my post.
