Be aware though that Karen sleeps all day on the verandah!!!! I only saw her a couple of times on the whole 14 nights this last time!!!


Our thread leader is AWOL, so we are waiting a couple of weeks to see if she is still around and if not we will start a new thread and get things moving. We NEED to plan!!

Well it is a great cruise, and I so hope the weather and seas treat us as well as this time. Did you take much persuading? I guess chatting over lunch and bubbly yesterday you could have signed up to anything!!!

None at all!!!! I actually booked it two weeks ago whilst you guys were onboard the WBTA, without knowing that Karen would be rebooking (that was an added bonus!)....it was my hubby that I had to convince! If I had gotten my way I would have been on that one too, but I can't complain too much as he has agreed to this one!

i'm not sure what info people want on there, room numbers might be helpful if you plan on joining the FE, but i'm happy to put on there as much or as little info as people want

I suppose what info is provided will depend on what we organise, ie. if we have lanyards made then we will need everyone's names. Or if we have an FE group then we will need cabin no's, age & sex of children, any food allergies etc?

I can finally say I am onboard!!!!

I've been booked for a couple of weeks but wanted to wait until i'd seen & told my friend (Karen, CustardTart) in person rather than her seeing my post on here.

I am so looking forward to it! It will be mine & Lee (DH) third cruise. It will complete the trio too, 1st cruise on the Wonder, we are on the Dream's MV & then 2 weeks on the Magic. Hmmmm Fantasy here I come?

I am looking forward to getting to know you all & plan lots of on board activites, I would love to do a Secret Mickey gift exchange. I'd be more than willing to plan & organise it, and anything else.

TBH Marilyn, IMO Claire needed the fizz as she had to get a little Dutch courage up to explain that she had cancelled the August Alaska cruise we were on together!!! And that's after 100% forbidding me to cancel!!! Oh, the cheek of the girl!!!

It's going to be another fab cruise...

A transatlantic cruise has been on our long-time wish-list, and know we need to go before our oldest begins kindergarten (she missed the kindergarten birthdate by three days... so she has an extra year to wait before starting school).

well i've just made myself some beer money! i was having a look at the DCL site and the cat 12 GTYs (now called 11c's) have gone back up. so have now swapped from my cat 11a deck 7 aft near the secret deck, to a GTY. saved myself $300
we've done all three past cruises as cat 12s, ended up with cat 9 on the first, cat 10 on the second and cat 11 on the third. we dont really spend that much time in the room anyway, and we'd rather have the extra spending money!
although when we're about a month from sailing i do tend to get a bit obsessive about checking for room assignments......
