Absolutely!!

I have been looking forward to this for 15 months, and I have had a really rough 3 months, and I NEED THIS CRUISE!!

I think we're ok. Like I said, maybe some cloudy skies to sail away from, ut we'll all be having such a good time, it won't matter! AND it'll be sunny in Key West!!!!!!!!!!

Well, from what I can tell, you look ok. Maybe landing in some rain, but probably nothing too bad. We are flying out of Logan tomorrow night.

We're flying out of Logan Friday night! Only 2 more days!!!!

Rain, rain go away!

Oh lets be thinking happy thoughts remember!!!!!!!!
Rain doesn't stop a good time, gloomy people do! <I think Walt himself might have said that> I'm flying out of Logan Friday afternoon and I'm not a bit concern about that or the cruise. Man these guys do this stuff every day, ain't no thang but a chicken wang.

I am taking a break from ironing my clothes at the moment. Ok so is it anal of me that I iron everything or smaht because then I don't really have to do much when I get there? There will be the occasional steam done on something but I don't want to spend my time in the cabin ironing... yuck. Oh and FLTink... an iron is this thing that gets really hot and takes wrinkles out of your clothes, to answer your question from the other night lol After this I will pack and that takes no time at all to put the stuff in the suitcase. I know I won't want to pack tomorrow night because I have a 7:00 haircut that was supposed to be Tuesday that got moved to Thursday. So no making fun of the "just cut look" I will have when you meet me. Although I suppose it's better then the "cousin IT" look I'm sporting now. I still don't know everything I am bringing to were to dinner each night. I guess I better get off my FA as my brother calls it and get to it. I'll stop by after I am done ironing and give you an update. Try to contain yourself until then.

Are we there yet??

Donnica, we're ALMOST there! Thiiiiiiiiiiiis close! :drinking1 (Don't you love this icon?)

Where did Ophelia come from anyway? I checked the weather yesterday morning and it wasn't listed, then! Go away Opehlia, shoo....

:sunny:

Ophelia a.k.a Tropical Depression 16 was hanging around in the Atlantic for the last couple days with winds under 38mph. Once winds reached 39mph is when she officially became Tropical Storm Ophelia.

That's our oceanography lesson for today boys and girls. ;)

Don't you just love the internet!

FLTink we ARE almost there! And the only thing I like better then the icon is a REAL ONE!

Ok packing tip for those who are flying down Friday. Don't forget to put the stuff you will need to wear Friday night to bed (if you wear anything :rolleyes1 ) and what you will be wearing Saturday on the TOP of the suitcase so you don't have to disturb all the wonderful careful packing you have done. Watch out Martha! I'm right on your heals! :rotfl2: Also if you have a suitace that has wheels on one end... pack all the shoes and heavy stuff to the side with the wheels. Otherwise when you stand it up all the heavy stuff crushes your nicely packed clothes. See what I mean... she doesn't have a chance.

It's 10:00 and I'm still not done ironing and haven't packed yet. See why I don't want to have to do much of this on the ship... waaaay to time consuming.

Storm? What storm?

Are we there yet?

It's 10 o'clock and I haven;t even started the packing I said I was going to do at 6 o'clock. Oops. I was watching So You Think You Can Dance. Guilty.

I have suitcases open with not much in them. I'm still washing clothes. I had to work all day and then go to class tonight. Tomorrow is work and I have to take my niece to gymnastics. I should get home by 730pm tomorrow night to pack and finishing washing clothes. It's going to be a late night thursday and early morning friday. I'll be sleeping on the very short plane ride down there.

I will join in with Donnica- ARE WE THERE YET???????????

OK. I got Tyler's little pirate outfit (for free!) to go with the Captain Hook hat and hook we bought on the last cruise. Then I bought my pirate outfit at one of the Halloween stores. Then we packed his suitcase (for real this time). That part's all good. Here's the pathetic part: I figured I'd save time and just go buy some more summer clothes to take with me, instead of doing laundry. Thought I'd be smart and get the clearance sales. Well, apparently I already MISSED those clearance sales because I went to FOUR stores and nobody had shorts or even capris left AT ALL! Well, in my size at least. So all that time I wasted shopping could have been spent doing my laundry and packing! Could have been done by now! Sometimes I just don't know where my common sense went!

I'm SO READY to sail away! Clear the way, I need a drink!

Poor Holly

Funny we had all kinds of stuff up here on clearance. I didn't need anything but I did buy a blue pair of shorts for $5.00 that were $30. They were what I was looking for at the beginning of the season to go with a shirt I had bought then. SCORE! I was psyched. The only other thing I bought was socks and plastic knife for pirate night, not that I have a shirt yet... think they would have a problem with that? LOL!!!!!! I will look again tomorrow when I go to the mall for my hair cut. I will come up with something either way. Oh I also bought some sugar free Red Bull to go with vodka for a little wake up to party late. hmmm no wonder my suitcase is so full lol

I'm with Holly... come through... where's my drink!

Are we there yet?

Donnica, when you said, "plastic knife for pirate night" I pictured you holding a little white plastic butter knife. Probably NOT what you got, huh???? Although....I know you pretty well..... pirate:
Well, all, I am retiring to bed. I realize that I have not packed...I know, I know. BUT I must sleep. Sooooo....apcking will have to be done tomorrow. Then it's on the big plane and weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!! We'll be in good ol' FLA!

Just heard the latest on the TS it is now turning away from FL, rain and winds today around the east coast of FL, that is good news to me.

1 more day til I head to FL, 2 more until we cruise!!!!!

Have a great day everyone.

"The latest five-day forecast from the hurricane center projects that Ophelia, now nearly stationary, will begin moving north, parallel to the coast, until Friday, when it will turn slightly to the east, which would take it out to sea. However, such long-range projections often change because of the erratic nature of hurricane movement. The storm is expected to strengthen slowly within the next 24 hours."

T-W-O more days people!

Morning, everyone! Jay and I are heading out in just a few short hours and still have SOOOOO much to do! I'll catch up one more time before we go!

 Tomorrow, tomorrow - we're flying out tomorrow. Oh my gosh its just a day away!!!!! :) (yeah, we board in two days, but I'm on vacation as soon as I reach the airport tomorrow morning! )

Donnica - you're packing advice came just a little to late for me. I read your reminder of packing clothes to sleep in and wear on Saturday towards the top of the suitcase just AFTER I finished packing, and guess what - they are buried! oops! Guess I'll open the suitcase again!

See you all on Saturday! :)
