I have cruised through the lists three times to see if a thread had been started but alas could not find one so lets start one now. This will be the first western cruise for the Magic since returning from California Cruisin' so it ought to be memorable.

This cruise has been an adventure before we have left. It has been postponed from our 25th anniversary in early 2004 to the DVC Member Cruise now to this 7 day cruise. ARRGGHH!!

We really wanted to go on another member cruise but could not work out the dates and then the cost of this 7 day is quite reasonable. Looks to be a slow time with children back in school and all. Ours are all but grown so we ought to be able to sneak away.

We are in 7066 and in 1999 we were in 7566 on the other side. I hope I do not get lost.

Looking forward to a great time (hopefully pirate night will still be going on) and meeting new folks along the way.

See ya'll soon enough!

Hello! We are very much looking forward to this cruise as it will be our first one EVER. And it, of course, had to be a Disney cruise because I love everything Disney. So, if any of you will be with us, I'd love to hear from you. My husband and I will be bringing our two kids - ages at trip time will be 8 (boy) and 5 (girl). Also, if any of you have any first timer tips for us - I'd love to hear about them. Take care

Who knows??? We MAY be going on that cruise, although DH and I are having a hard time justifying it! But some great friends invited us to go with them, and we'd hate to pass it up. :rolleyes1

Hi Beck! :wave2:

My DH and I will be on this cruise. I just made the plane ressies on monday for it. I'm so excited. It's our first disney cruise.

There use to be a thread for this cruise but when they changed the look of the board I think it went away. I tried to find it yesterday.

Well, I hope you do make it, Cheyita! It's going to be a fun cruise. Lot's to see and do! And it's still a great price! :)

Congrats on your first Disney cruise! You will have a great time and be amazed at how well you are treated. It is a great vacation experience.

Just remember to read the posts for hints and tips and have that boarding agenda ready to get your Palo ressies! Although, I bet they are easier to do on a 7 day.

Thank you, JW. I can't wait! We're telling the kids at Christmas. My ds(7) just found the cruise book today and begged me to take him. Told him I'd think about it :)

I have been reading about the 9/24/05 cruise being up in the air due to a possible full boat charter. I was sitting at AAA about 2 weeks ago and al but flipped a coin deciding on which cruise to take the 9/10 or the 9/24. Looks like I made the right call!

Maybe that is a good sign for us and we will have perfect weather and smooth sailing!

Perfect weather and smooth sailing would be excellent after what happened this year in September!!! :boat: :boat: :boat:

I will be on this cruise with my DH and a gradson (9 at time of cruise), that we are raising. With us will be my son, with his family (1-DD (4.5 yrs and a yet to be born DS (9mons.+-) and my daughter and her family (1-DD 3.75 yrs).
I sure do hope there is NOT a repeat of this past Sept.. We went in Sept 03 and the weather was wonderful!! Maybe even a little too hot! I bit the bullet this time and got a Cat 3 and the 'kids' are in Cat. 6's. Booked in Feb 04 and can't wait to go.

We'll be there! My whole family is going and we will be in 4 of the secret porthole rooms. I'm like Cruising GrandMa because we've been booked for AWHILE now. I'm pretty sure we booked the first day this date became available. There will be 14 of us:
Me, DH, and DS (almost 3 when we cruise)
My Mother and Step-father
My Brother, his wife(who is on these boards - :wave2: Joy!), their daughter (will be 12) and two sons (will be 9 and 7)
My sister, her husband, their daughter (will be 4 the day we get off the ship) and son (will be 18 months).

We all did the 4 day in September 2003 and my husband and I did the 4 day on our honeymoon in 2000. We LOVED it and can't wait for 7 days on board.

I didn't realize this was the first cruise after California - for some reason that excites me!

Kellyb2000,

Great to hear that this is a family trip! They will love it! We were hoping to pull that off for my parents 50th anniversary this year but could not get everyone "on board"! Oh well...their loss.

My DD (20) has decided that she needs to go now instead of being off at school. Told her that was the price of youth and that she would have her time later!

Off to WDW in 4 days for a quiet week at OKW!

Add us in as well for our second cruise. The first was last June on the Western and we rebooked on board. Macmonster, we're "kinds, sorta" neighbors on board. We'll be in 7072 on this one (7070 back in June). You'll enjoy the starboard side as much as port, I'm sure! Part of the fun is getting yourself "unlost!"

Somewhere back in August I started a September 10th thread....WAY too early since I think I only had one other person post at that point.

We're in for our 2nd cruise 9/10-9/17.
1st was our honeymoon, this is our 5th anniversary

Looking forward to it!
I think this thread has been started 3 times, it keeps falling off the list.
Not enough of us yet!

We'll have to keep this one going then!! :smooth:

My DW and I are also going September 10, 2005. This will be our first cruise on Disney. We are big Disney fans and have been going to Disney World since our so called Honeymoon back in 1975. So called because we got married in Sept of 1974 and becuase of work could not go anywhere until the next summer. We just cruised with NCL around Hawaii in October. We are really looking forward to this trip. We will be in 6090. I hope everyone continues to write so this link stay up at the top of the list. :thewave:

Bob

Bobbybear, my Dh and I are next door to you. We are in 6092. Don't worry we are quiet people and are use to living in small spaces. We have a one bedroom condo in a city so the stateroom want be much less. I'm so excited. It's our first cruise on disney. I can't wait for Sept. to come.

We will definitly have to do a dis meeting onboard. I will want to meet some of the people on here. :Pinkbounc

Good to meet you Daisy. We too are excited about going. You won't have to worry that we are loud either. Just hoping September 2005 has better weather than 2004.

i would whether not have a mystery cruise but if it was a longer cruise then I might like it. I just want to be able to get down there for the cruise.
