i know it rains alot in september but what about october? What is the best week to go in october?
thanks

We have always gone the third or fourth week of September. Then it is usually very hot and humid with heavy rain for about 1 0r 2 hours in the afternoon. I think October at least at the beginning must be about the same. I would avoid Colombus Day weekend as it is very crowded. Hope this helps!!! Even with the hot weather and rainy afternoons we love September because we can walk on practically all the rides in the morning. In the afternoons when it is getting a little more crowded anyway we relax.

We, too, prefer September! We've been only once, this year past, but DW will have to work hard to talk me into a different time (unless it's the second trip of the year). But we also found late October to be decent. It got kind of cold at night (high fifties), and there was at least one day it didn't get higher than the upper sixties. The locals said this was unusual. The latter part of the trip it was around 80 during the day, mid-sixties at night. So if that's the type of weather you're looking for, you'll be pleased, as crowds are light. I have heard, though, that it's no longer value season?

Other than that, the later part of OCtober is good for the Halloween themes and the Food and Wine Festival in EPCOT. Make sure to visit Citywalk, which is gussied up pretty good for Halloween. Avoid the PGA tourny, early October.

We went Halloween week last year (only time we've gone in October) and we did September back in 1998.

Much preferred the last week of October! NO rain. Nice weather not too humid or cold. Low crowds and MNSSHP!
