Hi, Everyone! Glad to hear the free dining is back! However, I won't be able to take advantage as I arrive Oct 9th (and I don't think I'd be able to change the wedding for the plan!). Does anyone remember what offers were available for October of 2005 after the free dining had expired? Thanks!

Love the picture - How romantic  we too Honeymooned at Disney World 11 years ago and have been going back ever since. We love all the adults only type things to do there. This will be our first trip with the kiddos so I am expecting to see a whole new side of the world this trip.

I just put down my $200 deposit today for September!

For everyone with questions/concerns, just give them a call, and ask anything you want to know. They are very helpful.

:cool1: Sept 30 thru Oct 6. Six nights pop century six days park hoppers free food $1279. Two adults one 16 year old. :cheer2:  Tina

We were going to wait until October to take advantage of a school break but we changed that to September to stay for 2 more nights and we are still saving $500!!

I LOVE free dining. :cool1:

It was actually a Friday/Monday teacher work day around the 18th of October, and then we were going to add a couple of days on either end.

Now we are going from Saturday to the following Sunday, WAY less expensive for a much longer trip. :cool1:

Who's waiting for AP rates for October?

Finally gave up on late June AP @ CR & took advantage of TS promo @ Sheraton Vistana for few extra days we needed.

Do you think AP discounts @ the Deluxes will be $100 again.?

We are waiting for an AP. We have a AAA ressie but are really really hoping to get the AP. I have this spreadsheet I have created with our existing package (including an idea of where we would like to eat on the dinning plan and how much it would be if we didn't have the DP & diff in package ticks vs paying oop). I just have to plug in the AP rate if and when avail to see if it is a better deal. Of course it allways has been in the past but you never know.

Wow, you are a planner! :thumbsup2

My son has fall break October 6th - October 15, with half a day on the 5th.

We had planned on taking him out on the 4th, missing 1 1/2 days.

With the dining plan, we went ahead and booked 9/30-10/8 and saved 1,100!!! POR 3 adults, 1 child (who is 10, so meals more..hehe)

Now im feeling kinda skeered on what to do about the 3 1/2 days he is going to miss at school....argh. Im a bad mommy, but a fun one... :rotfl2:

Nurseypoo. Family time should be just as important as school time. I know it is hard but if you work it out with the teachers in advance it should be ok. Somenone on the families board suggested to me (missing 5 days over fall break) that I try to get the abscense excused. Some schools allow the childrent to do a project which they present when they get back. Have fun and don't stress.

Even though June doesn't have their AP's out yet, wanted to bump this up.

Anyone know if Swan/Dolphin usually offer anything in October?

We're thinking of booking 1 trip in Sept & 1 in Oct (long weekends), so I thought I'd join this watch too ......

looking for codes for Columbus day week- Oct. 4-9th-----
Here's wishin' for free dining!

We're planning on going October 23rd - 30th and are waiting to see what discounts come out for an annual pass, if any. This is the 1st time for us to go during October...we have always gone the week after Thanksgiving before & attended MVMCP and are excited about going to MNSSHP!

I just want to "pick the brains" of veteran October attendees to see what's been offered as discounts/codes and if we should go ahead and book now & if so, through whom? We've always booked all of our own trips to Disney & got a great AAA rate last Nov/Dec for Pop Century, but are thinking about moving up to a moderate.

Book through AAA now. You can always have the AP discount applied to a room-only reservation. Last year, they came out with the Best Rate Program, so October rates were on the web site pretty early, but no codes were released because of BRP. In 2004, AP rates came out in August for mid to late October. I have booked CSR and I hope an AP rate comes out, but geez I hate to wait until August to find out!!!

I was told by a nice CM on the hotel ressies desk that the late Oct AP rates were coming out the end of this month (April) hoo hoo!

I am new to all of this...so if you are not an AP holder is there normally good rates/discounts for the end of Oct? :confused3 Also, what are crowd levels like at the end of Oct (last full week)?
Thanks for any info...you guys are great! :thumbsup2

Happy Easter Everyone!!! :wave2:
