I was just checking my phone to see how long I'd been waiting (1:02) and hung it up Hmm, not one of my smarter moves, me thinks. And this after I had a live person at 7:02 this morning and just before locking the discount I got disconnected!

Oyy, so sorry this is happening to you! If it makes you feel any better (misery loves company ), at 7 when I went to make the call, our freaking phones weren't working, just dead air. Cell phone reception at my house is awful, so I was standing on the street talking to the phone company in my PJs as my neighbors left for work. By the time they resolved, it was 7:15 and no way was i able to even get in queue.

Oh well, 5% at POR ain't much anyway.

Online now - Got my resort, got my dates, everything good. Go to check out and it won't let me add my husband from my "friends" list, then it tells me my selected guests doesn't match my party size of 4. I KNOW!!! I tried to add him again but there's no "add" button after I put his info in.

I hate to call, I'm sitting at my desk and I'm sure my coworkers don't want to hear my vacation details.

Annoying.

EDIT - figured it out. My DS just turned 18, so their system had him as 17 on the auto-fill on the reservation. Once I changed that to 18 I should be good to go. Crossing fingers.

Another annoyance - $228 in taxes!!! My $1827 reservation became $2055. That a lot!

Didn't call until 30 minutes ago. After 15 minutes of busy signals and all circuits are busy, got thru to automated system. I said new offers and promotions and the system verified who I was based on my calling from the home phone. Got right thru to agent and was able to get discount on 4 nights club level at Beach Club 10/14-10/18.
He took off my AAA discount and applied the 30% room only discount and we saved $521.08. Great!

I'm giving up. Been on hold for 3.5 hours!!! Disney phone system clearly routed me to some dead end. I am not at all happy about this; I was up and on phones way earlier than many people here who have since gotten through and gotten their discounts. Me, nothing....!

Finally got through but now I'm being transfered to the bounceback line since I want to compare the discounts. Says its a 30 min wait. She gave me two different numbers though so I 'm going to try on my cell phone too.

They had a message saying that due to heavy call volume calls would be limited to 90 minutes and that they would conduct as many transactions as possible in 90 minutes and that most transactions can be done in less time.

Never heard that one before.

Just booked Coronado Springs for $1097 for the week 11/30-12/7.

Tried calling from 7:05 on. Busy signal til 8:50. Went thru the prompts and got on hold at 8:53. Got a live person at 10:28. She told me no availability to modify existing 12/4-12/11 POFQ reservation and we hung up at 10:32.

Made it through at last, but they said my price would go UP by $200 over the "discount I already have." Which doesn't make sense because I didn't have a discount when I booked. I'm confused. This is for the Poly arrived October 5. I booked initially back in February online. There were no promotions at that time. Does that make any sense?

I'm stunned at how low the POR discount is. I expected it for POFQ, but not there. We jumped up to AKL instead of POR Royal since the price difference was about $100.

I will say, however, that I am pleased that Jersey Week was NOT blocked off!

People...I'm begging you, go to Orbitz if you can't get through.

Same discount + beaten by 10% if you use the discount code.

Only downside is you pay it all down rather than a $200 deposit.

Free cancellations though, so it doesn't matter.

Do it, or it's going to be gone like it did yesterday.

I am also going Jersey Week and I am booked in a Royal room at POR. I am going to end up switching. I am waiting for my TA to get back to me with what she can do as far as discounts. I was also shocked that POR is so little this time. We may just be doing the same thing as you, but it might be a switch to WL instead.
