Sept-Dec Room Discounts ~ Information Here

Anyone know what the "cough cough" thread on here means?? I thought maybe the discounts came out early and called but no dice!

I just checked on line and called the reservation line. The CM I spoke with was very nice. She quoted me a rate that I know is not a discounted rate. I mentioned that there is a lot of internet chatter regarding a discount program presumably starting tomorrow (Aug 1st). I told her that I was going to "hold my breath" and call back in the next day or two. She said "Tomorrow would be good. DO NOT wait too long to call back." This leads me to believe that he new promotion will indeed start tomorrow, and that if others are hinting and/or saying that they were able to book discounts today they were EXTREMELY lucky. I will be on line and on the phone bright and early tomorrow! :

The CM stammered and stuttered and told me to not give up hope and to call back "next week, er....tomorrow.....or sometime soon" to check again.

I just decided to price my dream vacation out and I'm not sure if I get some CM pixie dust or what, but I was in shock! I actually took tomorrow off to sit on hold.

not sure I'm on the right thread - I keep checking both I just got an email from the travel agency I'm using and it has confirmed the Disney will announce free dinning - but it does not say anything about room discounts. CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF RO DISCOUNTS WILL BE OFFERED 8-1 AS WELL?? i'm confused....

Yeah, I just got the same, I think a few CMs jumped the gun, mine sounded very nervous too but said "I'm sure we'll talk tomorrow!" . Had to hold 20 min but I'm guessing they're on skeleton crew at this hour.

One or the other. Not both. You should do the math to see which saves yiu more.

You can only have one discount, so you will need to choose the one that works best for you. Good luck!

Im definitely no expert, but having a room already does nothing for you as far as discounts go. They allot so many rooms per resort for for discounts, and when those slots are filled the resort (usually?) doesn't offer more.... I don't think anyway ha
