Okay...so including the Friday I'm taking off for the Labor Day holiday weekend? Only TEN MORE WORK DAYS until the cruise

Gosh James...I wish MY DBF would propose on this cruise! What a romantic and great idea! Did you order the Romantic Escape at Sea package by any chance?? You could get a nice romantic Palo reservation Have you thought about where you're going to pop the question??

Thanks for the info Kalypso, I think I will reserve the REAS now that I know what it means that is a really good deal.

About the proposal, I was going to do it in the room because she is a shy kind of person when it comes to "all eyes on her" although her family is about 400 times bigger then mine and there will be a lot of people at the wedding. hmmm. Another thing that was really really hard to do was ask her parents for permission, I thought I would do the respectable thing. Since that is done and over with its all green lights from here on out.

So I think I will contact Debbie tomorrow.
I also went to the Men's Warehouse and donated to them $400 sheesh this is one expensive cruise but well worth the money. I think I have a new wardrobe now! So does the future fiance. Anyway Im glad I found this board it is so informative and I can blow off my anxiousness here.

Maybe I will be in the chat on Friday when there is only 8 days left before I leave for Florida!!!

Hey all you 9/9 cruisers!! Boy, I'm with on that sentiment ginabug - I'm really glad we're all showing up here all of a sudden.

So...one happy note and one sad note.

I think it would be nice for some of us cruisers here on the board to get a little plan for a prayer circle together - doesn't matter what everybody's faith is - whatever higher power you pray to (or don't for that matter!) is just fine! - so let's maybe call it a circle of love instead - for Lynda's family so we can pay a little tribute to her while on board - maybe find out all the DISers who are cruising with us and get together just for a few minutes. I have not been able to get this tragedy off my mind today.

What do you all think? We could meet at sunset, sunrise, whenever - name it!

and James - bless your heart for knowing your DGF that well! Me? I hope he drops down on one knee in the middle of our Palo dinner - LOL. I know my DBF though - he wants to do something when I LEAST expect it...and on a romantic first cruise together? He might think I'm looking for it - lol. I'm glad you're doing the REAS - I learned quickly on this board that it's WELL worth the cost! And look at it this way...you'll have the rose petals and everything all set up for you....hee hee....

Ok I called and booked the REAS package but the land one as well. The Cirque De Solei and Horse drawn carriage stuff. You think she will be blown away? I think so. She has no idea. I'm looking forward to the massage.

The downside,

I will be paying this off for the next 5 months
But on the upside the whole thing is worth it.

Less then 2 weeks and I will be in WDW. The days are starting to slow down and take forever.

Looking forward to getting there. I just bought a cruise Tycoon game to help with my addiction of Disney.

Wow, James you are blowing me away! What a fortunate young woman to be so cherished. Dh & I will be celebrating 38 yrs. on 9/9 on the Wonder. He still makes my heart skip a beat. Sure hope you post some pics of your fabulous trip.

Hello all:

6 more working days for me and I will be livin' it up in WDW. I hope the weather is ok, I looked on the weather report for Florida and it says thunder showers from now until eternity. I hope it means occasional and not miserable. Keep in mind I have never been to any tropical region and only been as far as Colorado and I live in California.

I can't wait to hear from a DCL Rep to set up the Romance Package stuff. Already got my seats assigned for the Cirque De Soleil I will be there September 8th at 9pm. I need to make a list of things I need to do and get before I leave, because I hate the feeling of the day of the trip leaving the house and thinking 'did I forget something?'

Anyway I won't see you at WDW (too big) but I will most likely see you on the ship 2 weeks from today

Tinkertude - I will be sure to get some pictures up. I have a website I will post them onto. I will give the link after the trip.

6 more days of work ....9 more days for WDW ....14 more days till we cruise!

James - why is the DCL rep calling you? I called myself to book all the ressies when I got the package - did they tell you to wait until they called you?? If not, just dial Debbie directly at (407) 566-7411 - she's wonderful! I was able to "request" our dining rotation - they can't guarantee it, but we were able to request skipping Triton's for dinner since we'll already have a formal night at Palo on Friday.

Hey yall. I'm back home. Got to get caught up on all the messages. we're packed and ready to go. Can't leave till Wed. the eighth though. Bummer!! Stll don't know where we'll stay that night, just gonna wing it. Love to see all the romance going around. Our anniversary was back in july. See ya.

Hello Kalypso,

I went through the travel agent that I booked the trip with to book it because thats what the Dis Rep told me so I did it that way. And the its kind of back stepping because I had to call the dis rep then the travel agent, and the travel agent called the dis rep to reserve it then the Dis rep is supposed to call me on Tuesday to set up date and times for everything. But oh well, it is booked.

So besides that to all only 7 days from tomorrow (saturday) before its time to visit WDW I am soooo siked and then a cruise on my goodness its so close. I have so much work to do at work this last week. Because no one else does the job I do so all the work when I am gone will just sit there But I guess thats job security. Not to mention job stress. But I will not even think about that when next saturday rolls around. Florida & the Bahamas Here We Come!

Last September (late in the month) I cruised to the Bahamas on the Discovery boat with NO problems at all. This year sure is different though.......lots of hurricane, tropical storms, etc. Oh well, it if does happen, maybe the ship will have to re-route us to Mexico!

I looked at the weather for Nassau and you can see the hurricane way down south east of Nassau so hopefully it will move north through the Atlantic. ???? Lets hope for the best. Only 4 more days to go before I am in Florida livin it up with and

Pickin up the suit tomorrow from the Men's Warehouse here in california. I am so ready for a vacation. Today thankfully went fast at work. Hopefully tomorrow will be the same. Before we know it we will be cruisin'

I am sooooooo excited! I have everything in piles ready to be placed in the suitcases. My kids talk about the cruise non-stop and my DH is worried about the weather and seasickness.
