OH wow ! We can do that?? Take the champagne to Palo? that is SO COOL!!!

We are bringing a bottle of wine with us anyway - they let you for a $15 corkage fee - but we may save that for another dining experience...

I hope we still get to experience Triton's - I was told we couldn't change dining rotation or anything before the cruise!

I am really excited about the REAS package - I hear for the 3-day it's the best idea since the ship is just as big as Magic with 1/2 the traveling days to book appointments for so they go FAST!

only FOUR WEEKS AWAY AND WE'LL BE ON THE BOAT!!:Pinkbounc

BBowers - this is our first cruise as well! How'd you get that little countdown thingie in your sig?:)

what is HH?

Sigh...actually? Four weeks from RIGHT NOW? We will have just finished our spa experience and will be getting ready for our 8pm Palo reservations :)

We chose the Nassau day to do all the stuff because we're more interested in Castaway Cay - we'll probably just cruise the straw market and get a maragarita at Senor Frog's in Nassau!

And on the first night of the cruise?? I think they have a Martini Extravaganza in the Promenade Lounge

Wow! Our cruise is getting close. I've been busy today, made reservations at the Radisson and booked the shuttle (where's everyone else staying?), finally bought some trip insurance, and called Shirley (She didn't answer :( , I'll have to try again).

Next on my agenda is to decide where to eat the night and morning before the trip. Have any of you ever eaten at Grills? Suggestions?

Honeychild, if you like Cuban, there is an awesome restaurant on the same street as the Radisson, although quite a ways down. Shirley will be able to tell you the name. For breakfast, there is an awesome tearoom right by the Avis car rental. Shirley turned me on to that one, too. :D
If anyone wants to meet up, we'll be in the Barb & Tony Suite as usual (good old 5650). We'll be in Kissimmee the night before, driving to the port with some friends who are also cruising...they just booked at the last minute.
See you all there!!!
Barb

I am adding my name to the list of soooo excited I can hardly stand it . I am traveling with my dh,dd,dsl, and ddgs (he's six). We are flying in the day before and boarding on our 38th wedding anniv. We took my dd to Dw for the first time when she was nine. And she was sprinkled with fairy dust. She and her family go every May. ddgs claim to fame is he was tall enough to ride rock and roll roller coaster this year. Year before he and I rode Buzz over and over and over. I wouldn't have missed it for the world. This is our first cruise. He and I have long discussions about what characters will be on board.

 Has anyone received their documents yet? I'm getting a bit worried. A month away and I'm going into last minute mode already. Now my office faxed me and changed my vacation days. I can't leave till lunch on the 8th and then I get the next five days off. What else is going to "surprise me".

Ginabug - we received our documents about a month ago. We are doing Land and Sea, so it might be different...

We haven't received our cruise docs either. I read on another thread that Barb (inkkognito) had received hers on Friday. Hopefully all of ours will arrive soon!

Wow! I just popped back on and noticed that the famous Barb is cruising with us!!!

I have to tell you right now, Barb - your website is fabulous!! I feel like I already know you guys and I cannot believe you've cruised with DCL that many times!!

This will be my first cruise with Disney and I can't wait!
DBF and I are in at GTY Category 6 so I am still not sure of my cabin number yet -- but we did go ahead and book REAS so we could get Palo and Spa ressies. We scheduled everything for the Nassau day because we don't want to miss a MINUTE of Castaway Cay. But...we will be hitting things like the Wine Tasting!!

WOOHOO!! Got my cabin number!!! We are just a few doors down from the Barb and Tony suite - we will be in 5644 :):Pinkbounc :bounce:

I cruised to the Bahamas last year on the Discovery Line in late September and the weather was wonderful. Hopefully there won't be any tropical storms or hurricanes!

I'd be willing to bet that they're going to be showing the Princess Diaries 2 on the Wonder in September....

WooHoo! We're doing the document dance at my house! I haven't had a chance to read everything, but I know I'll have questions.

As for hurricanes, I live in the Florida panhandle and TS Bonnie is headed our way. Hurricane Charley isn't looking too great either.
Hopefully we'll get them out of the way and we'll all have smooth sailing!

Can someone help me? I ordered new birth certificates for the four of us. Mine, the only one from out of state, came today. At the bottom is says that it is a COPY yet it does have a raised seal. Will this be okay?

As long as it has a raised seal, you should be fine! Hoping you're safe during the storms!

I hope to do the doc dance this week myself:Pinkbounc

The man in brown arrived at my door today with my doc packet!! Yeeeeeeppppppeeeeeeee yeah!!!!!!!! I'm goin' cruisin' , I'm goin'cruisin'!!!!:thewave: :thewave:

WoooHOOOO Tink!!! I hope ours come today!!! I keep checking the mail every night...but since we just booked it last Tuesday? We probably have a few more days!

I am SO excited about this first cruise - and the info on this board is just great, isn't it??

Does anybody know if couples traveling alone can eat at tables for two?? I mean...I really don't mind mingling with people at ALL, that's not it -- but it would be nice to be seated with other couples traveling w/o kids - again, please don't misunderstand - I do not dislike kids - I'm just curious :)
