I just read through all the posts. I have seen many people ask about the FE Group, but it doesn't look like anyone set one up. I think I saw something about a group meet on the first day in the Promenade Lounge at 3 pm, but then I saw something about another get together the first sea day in Diversions at 3 pm.

JillJill. Since you started the thread, do you think you can post information on your first post. You can edit it. Add the Meet information there because any of us last minute cruisers joining can quickly catch up on important information just by looking at the first post.

Yes, I know I can update the first post if everyone would it posted there. Just let me know what times/places should be listed and I'll add them.
But I won't be in charge of any roll calls or posting the info of cruisers. If someone else wants that task that's fine with me.

Welcome to the new cruisers - it's great to see more activity here - it was getting way too quiet

8 weeks and counting - I watched the Magic sail into the port this morning - so very exciting. We are thinking about driving to NYC on Sunday to see her and watch her leave the Port. Depends on the weather.

That's great! I really just meant the Meet Info and maybe you can also add the Link to be added to the FE. I'm sure many people joining late will first check the first post, so that would be really helpful.

This is great just added to the list as well as my BFF who is in the stateroom next to us. Also have 1st time cruises in the next stateroom but have to check with them first before adding them. Sue

I shouldn't have ignored all those Canada threads, now that I need them. Does anybody know what the three rotations have been on the Canada cruises? And who is currently the CD?

I just booked for the September 7th! We were supposed to go camping, but got a really great price. My girls are 9 and 12 and this is our second Disney cruise. Sounds like it is going to be fun. We are going to be taking the train into NY on the morning of the cruise. Couple of questions, how long until they assign a room if I booked a GTY? Where would I look to see if they updated it to an actual room? Second, I think that my girls would love to participate in the FE. Do I just sign up once I receive my room assignment? Cannot wait!

Depending on what type of guarantee cabin you booked, a GTY could be assigned from now until boarding or a IGT, OGT or VGT which is typically 10-12 days before sailing but might not be until you arrive at the port. YOu just keep checking your reservation on DCL's website to see if a cabin number shows up, it could be at any time of the day.

My guess is you sign up and put GTY for the room number and then update your room number when you get it.

Linda, you will see it on our cruise. John said he'll wear it to the non-pink champagne girls get together for drinks. Since the ladies are wearing pink he said he will wear his pink shirt too.

Normally I would say you're so right Cork, but the heat that we're having this summer makes me think that this shirt might be more appropriate. I hope we have warm weather. I think it's been in the 80s up there all summer.....that's nice.
