Sept. 7, 2012 - Magic NYC - Canada

Not really, since that's St. John, USVI.

I always make that mistake and I've been there three times!

ALERT!!!
I just retrieved my reservation at DCL and they have redesigned the website. In looking and linking through the new tabs, when I reached My Online Check-in, it prompted me to begin the check-in process. I completed this weeks ago, and printed out the signature forms, but all of that information was missing. I called DCL, and was told that 1) the website redesign and transfer of information began today and was not completed; 2) It was not showing that I ever completed online check-in. When I told the agent that I could fax the signature forms, she put me on hold and called the web team. When she came back on I was told that they did find me in the 'system' but that the information for some reason did not come over to my reservation. Was told to check back in 5 days, and call again at that time if the information has not repopulated in my reservation. Said as long as I had the forms I printed out I was fine. Also told me that cabin assignments for GTY would not be assigned until 5 days before cruise date (Boo-Hoo). I travel too much to not have this be a major red flag...Wanted to let all know to check your online reservations, I would be interested if others that had completed check in experience the same issue.:scared:

Wow, that's totally different than when I was on there a couple hours ago.
Mine are showing as completed, so no problems there.

Glad to hear! Heard from someone else that one reservation was fine, but another was similar to mine and prompting to begin online check-in.

Also, when I click on My Cruise Activities on the web page, it is not showing that I have any cruise activities booked. But if I go to the Planning Center tab and click on the drop down "My Cruise Activities" they are all there, I had not printed any of this out so was initially concerned, but it is in their system.

Hopefully this will work out as they work through the 'bugs' and 'glitches' with transferring all the data...pixiedust:

Hey everyone,

As promised, here is the periodic update of the Fish Extender list that does include participants after August 1st.

Excel Version
PDF Version

As a reminder the webform will remain live to grab any folks that want to add their name, however the consensus on the thread was to have a "cutoff" by the 1st (today). We always have a few extra FE gifts, or create something in case a last minute participant wants to join in.

I know a few people have posted additional easier to read lists so feel free to search around here or on the facebook page if you are looking for another version!

As always, if you have any questions feel free to email me at eoppie AT gmail DOT com

Look forward to be cruising in only a few weeks!

Checked mine and it is ok. Have not yet heard from the two other families that are linked to us. Good luck to everyone. Sue

:simba: 16 DAYS TO GO :simba:

I switched to counting days not weeks - can you believe it. We watched Lion King Sunday night and it got me in the Disney mood. One of my favorites things about being on a Disney Ship is the endless supply of Disney movies. I love sitting on the deck watching a movie on the big screen.

We were just talking about the outside movies! And, we were watching Lion King too Sunday!

I am hoping that they will treat us to early premiere of Finding Nemo 3D, it opens in theaters on the 14th, I read somewhere that they sometimes do that...pixiedust:

I hadn't thought of that. If not, bet I can get to see it on the Fantasy cruise we have scheduled at the end of the month.

We've decided to go to NYC on Thurs. so we don't have to get up so early Fri. morning to head to the port, extending my b'day cruise by an extra day. Now I've got DH thinking if he want to go to Mary Poppins since I rec'd an email for discounted tickets. Now we get to eat at Junior's and possibly John's if we leave early enough.

I LOVED Mary Poppins! You should definitely go see it!

You'll love Mary Poppins. We saw it back when it was still in previews.

If you have time and want a treat, stop by my store, B&H Photo, on 34th and Ninth. It's a photographer's and audiofile's Disney store.

Sandy, my daughter has bought some of her cameras/supplies from B&H. Always online though.

Hey...I bought my digital Canon from you online several years ago. Small world! :thumbsup2

We do about seventy percent of our sales online, which makes sense, since we have only the one store. We get a lot of tourist traffic. The people love our choo choo tracks that sends the inventory from downstairs to the various stations. I'm a senior member of the web development team.
