Sept. 7, 2012 - Magic NYC - Canada

Thank you. They plan to be a whichever airport Disney is doing transportation to the port from. I forgot about the number of airports. The area I come from that is not an issue :rotfl2: and we can't fly almost anywhere without a stop first!

I think I read DCL will be offering transportation from at least 1 airport. They should probably call DCL to see which airports they will be servicing and then they can decide where to stay the night before.
Newark (EWR) will be the easiest airport to drive to.

FYI I spoke with DCL and they are offering transportation from all three area airports so this is not an issue for them,

Happy Easter pixiedust:to all the NY to Canada cruisers! 5 monts from today we will be on our way!

So, we're getting closer. Anyone have any ideas on what excursions they are planning on taking?

As we don't cruise until near the end of these cruises, hopefully other will come on and give us their reviews and recommendations.

I think we are going to try the Ride the Rapids in St. John. In Halifax probably something with Peggy's Cove.

Are you thinking of booking with Disney or an outside company?

Linda

We have always used DCL in the past. I toyed with the idea of using an outside company, but DH wasn't to happy with that idea. I'm looking into the company that the iPhone DCl app has on their site. They have a refund policy that covers you if you don't make it into port.

We have no clue what we are doing in each port. I need to get looking since it's almost time to start booking.

I just paid off the cruise today since I'm nearing the end of my bonus rewards with the Disney Visa. I guess I better start looking at excursions and such.

YAY!! Congratulations....now it's real!!!!

I've been too busy getting ready for the first Hawaiian cruise.....one week away now.

It's hard for me to think about more than one cruise at a time, I just get confused.

So as soon as that cruise is done, I can focus on this one.

We get back mid May from the Hawaiian and the final payment for this one is due mid June. That gives me one month to get this one paid off. Good thing it's only 5 days and less expensive than most.

Nan and Cork, we're doing late seating for dinner. Let's all link and we'll pop some bubbly for the table.

Anyone still out there. It is May and our cruise is getting closer. Final payment is due soon and we can start making reservations. What is everyone thinking of doing?

Linda

My cruise is paid off and I'm waiting to do my ressies tonight at midnight. So far just booking Palo brunch. I'm looking at doing one of the short trolley tours, but can't remember which port that is for but I think it's Halifax since I haven't been there. My cousin and his wife are looking forward to going to the casino in Halifax and winning back some of their cruise cost. :rotfl2: We're also going to meet up with a former crew member we met on the Wonder, he now lives in Halifax.
Must go to Tim Horton's for some donuts, might do that in each port. :worship:

I'm definitely counting down the days! Still trying to figure out which excursions we will do, my son will be just shy of 1 yr old and I really don't think he will be too interested in anything. The train ride looks interesting and easy though...so considering that for us in Saint John, NB.

Wow, good for you. How are you doing Palo brunch reservations so early? What day are they offering it on. We are also hoping to do this - not sure if we are also going to do dinner.
