LOL, Madison is too a repeat cruiser!!!! Just because she was "sharing space" with you doesn't mean she hasn't earned her Castaway Club ears. princess:

Hmmm... could be a new ploy... underneath the infant rate, DCL is pleased to announce our new "in utero rate" :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Wow that Castaway Club is efficient...

Or maybe they just assume a little souvenir is going to happen??

That is such a strange glitch, because Madison isn't a repeat cruiser and I was able to make ressies for her. Very weird, but I'm glad that it worked!!!

Maybe because Emily is? And the system just recognizes kids belonging to parents not by their specific names?

And technically I was pregnant with Emma on the first Member Cruise, so she is really a Castaway Club member too!

I'm just super impressed with the CM who figured this all out! I'm still going to drop DCL a note, because I'm sure they'll be able to tell who she somehow!

Well, I guess that Madison is a repeat cruiser if you count that I was 12 weeks preggo with her on my last cruise.

No more posting!! LOL! :rotfl:

I am booking our insurance today and car also.

I have ordered my Birth Certificate and it was mailed out today.

We are first time cruisers, so we will have to book on the 20th for our excursions and stuff.

I dont want to book too much because I know from the Member Homecoming, DVC keeps you hopping, and I could barely keep up with all their surprises! And, I was solo that trip!

I just have to keep telling myself this is not our last cruise (already booked for next year) and we will have another chance.

Mark, My button info looks good. Thanks again and can't wait to see everyone!

Happy Planning!
Crystal

Unless you can clone yourselves, sorry to say, no.

The later show begins at 8:30. Early show at 6:30.

And something just to remind everyone, Mary and I have done this before; I have a website up with everything on that cruise, including the daily navigators that give all the info of what happened when.

Hi All,

Any chance of catching the late show with a 8:30pm reservation at Palo ?

Thanks.

Carol

On RARE occaisions, there are 3 shows. (I've been on 2 cruises where this happened) IF there should be a 3rd show one night, you could possible book an 8:30 seating, but since DVC is chartering this cruise, I strongly doubt that the 3 show scenario will happen! :goodvibes

Can anyone tell me if they have seen or booked the Palo brunch? I have been trying to get to it all day. Earlier in the day, I found the brunch , but it was listed for Wednesday the day of Castaway Cay. Then all of a sudden, it vanished. All day long I have been looking for it. I have called at least three times and they all say the same thing. I can't help you. I (3DAN) was even the first one to talk to DCL this morning with April. As of this point, I can only assume that no one has booked the brunch, unless you guys tell me differently. Even when it said brunch was on Wednesday, it wouldn't let me book.
Thanks,
Bill

Bill,

Earlier there were reports of the Brunch being messed up. Don't think it was supposed to be on Wednesday, was mention of that being moved to Tuesday, but nothing since.

Oh yes, you're right! the last time I was on the Wonder, they ran Disney Dreams at something like 2 in the afternoon as well, at the request of families that didn't want to keep the kids up late to see it. But that was a long while ago now. Don't know what they are doing currently.

I was able to book brunch on Tuesday early this afternoon. I can also tell you that when I finally saw it on the DCL website, the only time that was listed for me was 11:30am. So, I booked it.

Thanks, Mark. It's very frustrating as you well know. Nothing I can do about it except seeth. I'll just have to keep checking. The CM's can't do the bookings at the offices, at least that's what they say. The only one I was interested in was the brunch so that I could take Veda and ANgela to it. I didnt want to miss the main dinners with the kids.
Worst case scenario, no Palo at all.
Bill

Well, hopefully they will get this all straightened out soon so that people can get what they want.

It was DCL all day. THey are friendly as usual, but, their hands are tied with the computer system. I was able to get the "wild side" for the teen-agers and the eco tour for my four.
Bill

This has been a very strange day for these reservations. Diana battled with DCL all day just to make Flounder's ressies. I was lucky enough to get everything that I wanted, including the brunch, but that took until this afternoon.

Does anyone know if some reservations are held back for July 20th ? In other words will more brunch spots open up ?

I sure hope so, considering that I can't imagine that ALL of them were taken today, especially since there were so many problems.

I've been home all day with a sinus infection, I do remember reading someone who talked with DCL saying something about that.

I also don't think many went thru today with all the computer problems.

Ok, on to Key West plans. DH and I have rethought our plans in Key West. We were going to do the trolley tour, so that we could get off/on. But, since the ship doesn't get in until noon and the trolley ends at 5pm and it's 1/2 hour in between trolleys if you get off, we decided that we probably wouldn't be able to see that much. So, we're thinking about renting an electric car and doing some of the sights on our own, like the lighthouse, Southernmost Point, Butterfly Conservatory and if we can fit it in, the Aquarium. We figure that this way we can get in/out of our car whenever, instead of waiting for the trolley.

DH talked to one of the electric car operators today and we told them that we might know some people on this list that were also interested. He told my DH to call back on Friday and talk to the manager and he might be able to make all of us a deal. I'll let you guys know if we can work something out with them.

To get an idea of how many might be getting the cars, PM me if your interested. They have 2-seaters and 4-seaters. The times range from 2 to 4 hours and they close at 5:30pm. The prices range from $49 to $89 depending on the size and amount of time.
