If it's not up at 9:00AM - DVC WILL get a call! The hours thing is no big deal...I was trying to say that my "hours" on the boards far exceed my posts. Thanks for the info in case I ever did want to track that though : )

I'm trying not to let this online booking thing frustrate me, but we booked the REAS for this cruise. This is our anniversary trip and I was really trying to make it special for my DH, the REAS is a surprise. I have called and called trying to get our reservations set up, since with the REAS you are supposed to be able to book in advance of the crowd, and I thought you were supposed to have a little more personalized service rather than booking from what's available online.

That used to be the case. I feel like we've been completely overlooked and I'm beginning to wonder if this package is really even worth the expense anymore.

I don't mean to be negative on this thread or anything, but this is disappointing me so much and every time I have called I have been given completely different stories about how it would be handled, none of which have come to fruition yet.

Dorothy - wish I could help in some way. When we booked REAS for our last cruise we used a TA and they took care of everything for us. I think you should be able to get everything you want online today since it is the first time it has opened. If by any chance you don't i would call DCL and ask what they can do for you. I would think they would give you attention since you do have the REAS package booked.

I hope it all works out for you.

:rotfl: dbond...Finally someone who feels as I do...

The REAS should not have been offered if people who booked it would not receive the same privileges as those who book it on any other DCL sailing. I had brought up this point weeks ago and the outcome was the fact that the cruise we're taking is in effect a charter-cruise and the rules are tailored to DVC's liking. I'm more than upset about plunking down the close to $400 for this package (my DBF and I will be celebrating on board too and we added it for the ammenities as well as the PERKS). I guess I should have pushed for a refund?!?!? I spoke to people at DCL and DVC and pleaded my case and it feel on deaf ears. It was an attidtude like, "you can book early - you can book on July 6th!" UGGGHHH. I really on't want to breath negative energy here either but a huge percentage of the ship are repeat cruisers who will also be able to book on 7/6. I'm one of them - so what the heck did I pay extra to book ahead for?!?!? I feel like I sucker. :confused3

Almost 9 am Eastern - good luck everyone!

Re the REAS - I would really be ticked, too. We did it our first cruise SOLELY to get the advanced reservations. (As a nice aside, my DH loved the roses, but they were mighty EXPENSIVE rosebuds!) We ended up not liking the spa all that much, and I sold the photo album on Ebay! Sooooo - you SHOULD get your money back.

I see some excursions on Key West, but nothing else has been updated.

I actually have a live person at DCL. DVC gave me a number for "those experiencing problems using the website." She is checking on it for me.

Alas, since I've never cruised before with DCL, I have to wait until the next date....July 20, isn't it? Hope there's still some time slots left at the spa.

For those of you that have been to Palo's, how will I know what night to book? I really think that all the dining rooms on the ship sound special, especially the Animator's one (the true name escapes me), and since this is my first time cruising, I don't want to miss any of them.

What;s up with brunch on CC day????????

I was thinking the same thing. WHY would I want to go to brunch while we were at CC?!?!?!?

Also, I don't see parasailing on CC. That's what DH wanted to do.

Crisis over - I'm all booked in! I have the couples massage booked at 4:45PM on sea day and Palo for 9:00PM on the sea day as well.

I'm in... got a couple's massage on Sunday and bikes at Castaway Cay. Decided not to do brunch on this cruise--- can't take myself off the island for that. We'll have to wait and do it on the cruise in November.

Good luck to everyone else!

Congratualtions, and/or good luck on the Ressies!

And thanks for the kind words on yesterday to all.

While I have your attention, I have done some more updating! I have updated the Webpage with the Meet info, and I have updated the button list once more by alphabetizing it and adding a column for status on who's planning on being at PI. Now, if your info for that is wrong or missing, you can just PM me here and I'll get it straightened out.
