Signed up for the brunch anyway, in hopes they have the day wrong... But sort of silly, since they want the pic at 10 that day and the ressies for Palo's starts then - I originally chose 10, then reread it, and chose 11:30 instead.

Alas, since I've never cruised before with DCL, I have to wait until the next date....July 20, isn't it? Hope there's still some time slots left at the spa.

For those of you that have been to Palo's, how will I know what night to book? I really think that all the dining rooms on the ship sound special, especially the Animator's one (the true name escapes me), and since this is my first time cruising, I don't want to miss any of them.

There are a few trains of thought on booking Palo if it is your first time.

1) don't go. Oh I know many will say that you must go. To be honest we didn't do Palo until our 4th cruise. Yes it is very nice, yes the food is wonderful, but don't feel you HAVE to do it.

2) If available book it for your last night. Since this is a 4 night cruise the last night will be a repeat of one you have already been in.

3) Do the DCL double dip. If you are early seating book a late dinner at Palo and just have a salad at your regular dinner time (this works well for those with children so they can still eat with them in the dining room). Or if you have late seating do Palo first and then maybe just coffee in the main dining room (again with or without children). The downside to this plan is you are giving up the show which runs at the same time as the dinner options.

Good luck in making a choice.

While I have your attention, I have done some more updating! I have updated the Webpage with the Meet info, and I have updated the button list once more by alphabetizing it and adding a column for status on who's planning on being at PI. Now, if your info for that is wrong or missing, you can just PM me here and I'll get it straightened out.

I forgot the picture was at 10 - Ooops - I guess I need to rebook brunch.

Changed my dinner at Palo for 8PM on the first night - we have early seating so if this is Animators Palate for us - we can still go with DS and just not eat, then we can go to Palos. Any other dining room I can skip.

Decided to do my spa treatment for first thing Monday morning. I don't think we dock in Key West until late morning, so an 8AM spa treatment will do nicely.

I got through to make a Palo's reservation. It is a little tricky to get to the reservation request page but it can be done. I have 6:30 on Monday.

I would suggest that anyone interested in Palo's make their reservation ASAP.

Ok, after changing my mind several times, I have everything booked. DH gets to go parasailing on CC. At the last minute, I decided to book a massage on Key West day at 9:15am. And, we booked Palo on Key West at 7pm, so that we can be in the dining room with the girls for dinner, then take them to the clubs/nursery.

Yes, I was able to book. Make sure that you register your girls first, then you should be able to book Flounders. I was only able to book 8 hours since it's a 4 night cruise, but I figure that I'll see if I can go on the waitlist for the other 2 nights. We have Madison booked for 2 nights from 7 to 11pm. I figure that she can eat dinner and then go to Flounders.

ugh! I don't feel like calling them but I still can't book online! I have both Emma and Julia registered, so that's not my problem. I'm planning on booking them both from 8-10 all 4 nights for each of their 8 hours worth and then adding an hour on the waitlist if there is still time available.

Does the Reserve Nursery button not come up when you go to the Children's Registration page? When I went it, it had both of my DDs listed, then below was the Reservr Nursery button. When I clicked on it, it gave me all the days, then I clicked on the day, and you can reserve by clicking boxes in 1/2 hour increments.

Thanks for the Key West info. I was thinking that I needed to book a tour. Glad I check here first! The electric car sounds interesting. Is there a website or any photos we could check out?

Also, thanks for adding us to the button list. My info is correct. We are going to try and make it to the PI meet. So we are a maybe. We want to get some park time in earlier that day so it depends how everything goes.

MCL - My daughter turned 1 on the first member cruise and we did not have any sea sickness problems. I did bring chewable Dramamine "just in case". You could check with your Pediatrician.

Diana - I'm so sorry that you are having these problems. I was having that same problem until they updated it after 9am. Have you tried logging out and then back in again? Just an idea.

Did that. I've been on hold with a supervisor with DCL for 15 minutes now. I'm nothing but disappointed in them. First the CM who answered argued with me about how only conceirge guest can book today. After I insisted she was wrong, and that I already booked my spa appointment. She tells me, well, obviously, you are too late and they are all booked. OK, now seriously, all booked for the ENTIRE cruise in an hour? Doubt that....So I asked for a supervisor....who tells me she just got off the phone with the nursery people and they are adding more times, ok, great....how come I see no times at all.....There can't be that many little kids on this cruise!
