WOW , 31 weeks away, adventures to be had before and after. One thing is for certain, you have to get up pretty early to beat the weekly countdown post

Wow, I can't believe that it's 31 weeks left. I know that the time will just fly by this year (or at least I hope it will). We don't have any special trips planned between now and then, except a possible trip to Chicago to see family and friends. And, of course, I'm sure we'll do several mini-trips to WDW, but that's easy to do when you're only 1.5 hours away.

I can't believe we are only 31 weeks away - that's fabulous!

Mark - just sent the email back to you... sorry for the delay

Ok so we realized we would rather have late dining... do we call MS and ask them to change it? Anyone have pros/cons for early/late? We don't have kids and normally eat later in the evenings.

Opps - found us on page 2!

Yes to change to late dining I would start with MS since that is who you booked with.

We've only done late dining once and found it didn't work for us. Many like it because it gives them extra time to get ready in the evening and they don't have to rush as much back from excursions etc.

If you are used to eating at a later time then I say go for it. We are early eaters and found that we were going right from dinner to bed which did not work well.

I personally found late dining not to work to well for me with the late night parties on deck. Last time there was all kinds of goodies and music to enjoy and it seemed that it wasn't too long after we had just finished our late dining.

Okay - so one more month has gone by - it's still too long a wait for me tho - I can't wait til my counter says "It's Cruise Time!" :boat:

Tomorrow will be the 2 year anniversary of the first Member Cruise - wow where did those two years go! Thank of all the fun we had then and we have more fun ahead on this one!

Wow, I can't believe it has been 2 years already since the last Member Cruise. I guess because we still talk about all the fun we had it makes it seem like it was just a few months ago!!! Can't wait until September!

Gail

Hi all:

I have been out of commission for about 10 days - had to go back into hospital for emergency surgery - have not forgotten our shirts for the September cruise.
My brother is working on completing the shirt orders and a good logo to go on them. Disney will not allow a shirt with their logo on it - I had many conversations with their Marketing Department and it just is not allowed due to the copyright they have
They told me I could buy their shirts - at the cost of approx. $20 each and then add what ever we want, but that would be way too expensive for the number of shirts that are needed. I could not put out thousands of dollars in shirts initially.
At this point we have some good logos we are considering and welcome any "verbage" that anyone might have. Of course, the date of Sept. 4 - 8, 2005 will be part of it.
As soon as the doctors will allow me to travel, I will be going to Columbia, S.C. and looking at everything before finalization.
Hope everyone in the snow states are well and please stay warm.
Will stay in touch with everyone
I am having a little trouble from time to time with my e-mails. The one that comes through without a problem is
Harrywillima@aol.com
should anyone want to contact me.

Kay Welcome Home! Wishing you well.

I cant remember if I signed us up for shirts or not. We would definitely like to be included. Should I send an email?

I also have a question...........Can we join the Castaway Club on the Members Cruise? We have another cruise scheduled for 2006 so Im hoping we can become members on the MC to use the perks.

I am so ready for this cruise!!! This will be our first cruise ever!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Crystal - once you have sailed on Disney you are automatically a member of the Castaway Club!

If you have already booked your 2006 cruise just call up DCL after the Member Cruise and tell them you want your Castaway Club Membership noted. If you book either on the Member Cruise or after you should automatically be listed as a Castaway Club member (but it doesn't hurt to remind them).

Duhhhh! Thanks Mary! LOL :rotfl2: I am such a newbie!!!

Here I am thinking I need to pay a fee and fill out the required forms. Hopefully I will be up to speed in 31 WEEKS!!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Don't worry Crystal - we all had to be new at one time or another. We're here to ask any questions and to make this cruise a wonderful experience for all of us!

liferbabe: yes, send me an e-mail re: the shirts you want. I am going to do my best to get extras because I know there will be others that want one once they see them. That always happens.
And, yes, we are so ready for this cruies. Everyone that went on the 1/22 cruise, glad you had a wonderful time and glad to have you back safe.

Where can I get the countdown calander everyone has at the end of their message?

Thanks,
Dale pirate: pirate:

Happy DVC Member Cruise Anniversary!
I can't believe it is already 2 years. We have our pic album out since booking this cruise. It is such fun to look at and anticipate another great time.

Countdown calendar can be located on the Technical boards. Just follow the instructions and you should be counting soon!

I'm back from the WDW 1/2 Marathon and I had a spectacular time. I know I said it already, but it is really worth repeating.

I/we are ready to make plans to sail.

Kay, wishing you well on your recovery. Wow! You are paying for all the shirts first? I thought you would be collecting $ and then putting up the shirts. I'd be happy to send you $ ahead of time. However, I can see that might be a bookkkeeppiinngg nightmare. Anyway, thanks and let me know.

Steve, as I was reading backward in this forum I come across your link to DCL in port. Well, although I would rather be there than here, it looks like here. Foggy! Can't see much but shadow.
:rotfl2:
  Can't wait to go.

Found us slip, slip, slipping down the page! :flower:

How's everyone doing today?

Happy two year anniversary of the DVC Member Cruise! Two years ago right now we were on our way to Castaway Cay for the first of two visits!

WOW - hard to believe it's been 2 years already! It was really my first fun cruise and I got to meet some really great DISers on that cruise! Looking forward to our next fun time on DVC Member Cruise II. :grouphug:
