I totally agree with you Stacy. Actually, Cindy and I were discussing that yesterday at WDW. So many people just don't get it!! I see parents dragging kids all over kicking & screaming. We just to with the flow and see what happens.

We did have this conversation and feel so fortunate.

We always know that we'll be back. If we don't do it this time, we'll do it next time. I love the rolls with the flow feeling we have now.

Cindy, it sounds like you guys had a great time! How did Walker do with Gary all weekend? I bet he was super happy to have you guys back home!

I think I was happier to see him. Many times I would call and he wouldn't even want to talk to me. I think the hardest time was yesterday when I called from the airport and Walker though I was at O'Hare. We were still in Orlando. Only then did he tell me he wanted me home in "10 minutes".

Sadly, he was asleep by the time we got home. I still snuggled up with him for a couple of minutes. Then this morning, he woke up and played tricks on me, hiding in his bedroom. Then when I went to open the door for the first daycare child, Walker put on his Halloween costume and scared us. No longer a ninja, he's now a spooky guy dressed with a transparent cloth over his head.

I'm glad that you and Cameron had a great time. Damon said to ask Cameron if he noticed a military helicopter flying above Disney World yesterday... if so, that was Damon on his way to deliver a helicopter somewhere!

Hey Lisa, there was a time when Cameron asked me about something flying above us. I didn't see what it was but Cameron commented that he thought WDW was a no fly zone. Wouldn't that be cool! I'll have to ask him when he gets home if he saw what it was flying above us.

Getting Cameron off to school this AM was another story. It was tough getting him up and out the door. I hope he takes a nap when he gets home. I'm glad I'm not the only one dragging today!

Diana, I don't know. If it wasn't posted here, I think we might have had better luck encouraging Gary to give it a try. I don't think he'd be all that willing to walk in there knowing he was going to get sprinkles in his hair.

Chris had no problem with it either!

One is very easy....it's in the fireworks over Disneyland.
The other is harder....much harder....and was found by one of my kids (can't remember which one, I think Nick, but don't want to give credit where credit is not due) It is on the golf ball that is hit on the ground and comes FLYING at you!! Tiny little black Mickey head on it!

I now know where to look next time. Thanks!

How horrible! I think a working phone is a MUST in a room. What if there was an emergency and you didn't have a cell phone??

That was my point all along. Cameron's only 11. What if something happened to me in the room. How would he have known what to do?? Or, my other thought, what if I dialed 911 from my cell phone. Being I have an 847 area code, would it have rang all the way at home? I don't know.

That was the scariest part of it all.

If they would have at least acknowledge me somehow after the fact, it still wouldn't have bothered me days later. A simple phone message left for me after the phone was fixed would have made me feel so different.

Sunday night waiting for Amy to finish up with Emily in the bathroom, a lady walked up to me and asked if I posted on the DIS. She noticed the ribbon I had attached to my bag. Yep, I post. I forgot her name now (it's been several days and I'm really bag about that type of thing) but she did tell me she posted mostly on the theme board.

Then last night Cameron and I are walking off the plane, our our way to get our bags and a lady asks me what carosel did they say our luggage was going to. Then she asks if I ever heard about the DIS boards. I said I did (surprise, surprise, I've posted here a bit!). I mentioned that I usually had a ribbon on my bag, but I put it on my carryon instead. Turned out she was down in Orlando for the last 2 weeks. Macraven is her name and I believe she posts on the Universal board as well as other boards.

Two DIS'er and meeting up with Amy & Chris. This place sure has changed my little corner of the world.

Ohana birthday celebrations. A big table next to us had a round of Happy Birthday sang to them. Although it was noted, we had to flag our server down to acknowledge Emily & Cameron's. He willingly brought them cupcakes!

Cameron's still asking to cut the lawn.

I'm not sure what he's looking to do other than earn money. I know Chris suggested he cut the lawn for $$'s. They had a man-to-man talk to come up with that idea.

Oh, that's right. The little lady, Emily.

I have to tell you ----- the entire day we were at the MK, Emily carried around this little pink princess purse. All her treasures were in there -- at one point, she pulled out stickers she shared with me. Cameron gave her some of his shooting gallery quarters for in there. Not once did she get tired of carrying it around. Not once!!

Too bad I didn't try and get her to carry my bag around all day.

We did run into "Push" at the MK. Emily had quite a little conversation with the garbage can as to what she was going to be for Halloween. We were amazed at how the CM was able to hear what she was saying. Very cute!

Oh, by the way, we received Karen & Julie's CDs today. The only one that I'm waiting on is seaulater. She said that she wanted to be included, but I've sent her PMs and she hasn't answered. Hopefully, she will get her CD here by the deadline of 10/15, if she still wants to be included.

wow even the water was off for splash - yikes.

I was also surprised that the characters weren't out by the splash bathrooms
( sometimes brer rabbit and brer bear hang out there)

Cindy: Have you considered contacting the DVC Member Satisfaction Manager about your phone problem? If you don't have the info - please post and I'll PM it to you.
A phone not working is a serious issue. What if there were an emergency? Yikes.
