Well - we have a new home and close on it today - this weekend is moving day! Would you believe we haven't even unpacked all of our DVC Cruise treasures due to the move? I cannot wait to get into the bags and see again what all we came home with.

Julie & Matt, Congratulations on the new home. :cheer2: :cheer2:

Good luck with the move! :goodvibes

Ugh!!! I feel for you! It's such a pain to have to get them out the door after a weekend trip - especially one that sounds as action-packed as the one the two of you experienced!

Sam's out of school this week, but he's been taking it easy. He crashed his bicycle this weekend, and ended up with a sprained knee, as well as assorted cuts and scratches. Of course, he waited until about 30 minutes after Damon left on Sunday to do it.

It would be cool if Cameron had ended up seeing Damon, although I'm still a little bitter that Sam and I didn't get to come down and help you two celebrate Cameron's birthday. I just couldn't justify it with the December trip coming up. Anyone else going to WDW for Christmas???

Hmmm...

Cindy-
Stacy-

Have either of you given any thoughts to sending the boys to Space Camp/Aviation Challenge next summer???? You could always hang out here for a few days... :smooth:

On a more serious note, it would be great if we could get the boys together again!

Space Camp would be cool but between
1. wanting to do the next Member cruise
2. looking for a house, (and possibly a car since mine has been having some problems)
3. having to go to North Carolina in June for my Nieces graduation
I don't know if the wallet can stretch much further....oh and did I mention we had my oven fixed yesterday because it wasn't working.

Now I feel like crying after seeing all that in print. Well time to look for a second job...LOL!!!!!

Whew caught up again!

Cindy - sounds like you guys had fun but I am so sorry to hear about the management problem! I've recently heard through some CM friends that the convention center resorts have lost a great deal of managers recently and it's horrible it affected your stay!

Amy - DVD or CD either one is fine for me as long as we can pick off individual photos from the DVD (is Chris giving lessons?)

Congrats!!!! :cheer2:
Good luck with moving everything. Now is the fun time. You get to make the place all yours, paint rooms fun colors, hang all you great pictures and art work, it's just an exhausting and exciting time, Have fun with it!!

Want to buy a lovely house here in Glenville? It's got an inground pool that Nick would love, and a pond with 5 resident frogs! With all this rain....and the snow coming soon I'm sure...I'm ready to put the For Sale sign out on the lawn and start moving to a warmer sunnier climate! :rotfl2: I told DH one day he's going to come home and there will be boxes everywhere and a moving truck in the driveway! :rotfl:

Hey everyone! Chris has compiled all but Lisa's pictures and it has come to either 1 DVD or 4 CDs. What does everyone prefer? If you have a DVD player in your computer, it would probably be easier to just have one DVD. Because the CDs are cheaper, but there are more of them to ship, Chris thinks that the actual cost between the 2 options will be about the same. He's thinking somewhere in the $5-6 range. We'll know more once we get all the supplies (envelopes, CDs, DVDs) and then figure out the postage.

PM me with whether you prefer a DVD or the CDs.

I would like the DVD please!
I agree with Cindy, I can't wait to se everyones picyures to relive the cruise.
I'm waiting to see how many pictures I'll look at and go "hey when did that happen and were the heck was I?". :confused3
The cruise was so amazing. When we completed the survey from Disney about the cruise it was amazing how many things we didn't do but yet we were on the go for like the whole day. Even the day at sea it was like 4pm when I turned to Jeff and said "We haven't even been out on the deck yet today!" So outside we went took a couple of pictures and on the the next activity!

You're funny! Are you on Maple Ave? Do you have a neighbor named Cathy who has 2 boys?

Amy - put us down for CD's. Only the notebook has DVD capabiities and that won't help with my scrapbooking.

When Nick was little he would love it when I drove past ANG Base so he could look at the plane. He really like it at Christmas time at night when they had the lights on the plane.

(insert musical notes).. My horn's better than their horn.... my horn's better than theirs... tho my ears are a ringin', my horn's better than theirs.

Click here to really hear the ship's horn.

The rest of the cd is really cool. Some really good backgrounds and tunes on it.

:rolleyes1 Sounds like Mark has a little bit of horn envy!! :rotfl2:

Either way, if I'm not standing there on deck listening to it....it just doesn't cut it for me!

Envy? Whoever made the CC cd should have the envy, I was being silly, but the one I made sounds a lot better than that one. And if you want to hear it whenever, just right click on my link and pick save as. :)

I look at it as.. a pleasant reminder of what was and is to come again :)

Ok, fine, I'll admit it....your horn sounds better than the CD! :rotfl2:

Yes, it is a pleasant reminder, but since I'm not cruising for aat least another year.....I guess it's ME that has the horn envy! :rotfl2:

Whew! I'm finally caught up again! You guys have been chattin' while I've been packin'! DH (Ken) and I leave tomorrow to go visit our DD at college, then leave from there to go to the airport and head to WDW for the Food and Wine Festival. We're staying at VWL....no broken glass please!

Prayers and Pixie Dust for our DD please. She is going to interview for the Disney College Program next month. This has been a dream for her since her sophomore year of high school. If she gets in, we'll be visiting her at Spring Break!

I got my litho back from Michael's today. It's hard to tell in the photo, but they put spacers between the litho and the mat boards to give room for the space needed for the pins. I was going to put the pins in order of the days we received them, but the last two we got have red on them and with both of them on one side it looked too heavy.

Did the push the pins thru the Litho or are the mounted on something?

The horn on the CD doesn't do anything for me....and, sorry, Mark, but neither does yours. I ONLY like the horn if it's proceeded by "This is the duty officer speaking from the bridge. We are about to sound the ships horn. If you are on an open deck you may want to cover your ears." ;)

Amy,

Talked to Mike....DVD for us, please.

And THANK YOU for doing this!!!!

Gail,
LOVE the litho! Looks great. I agree with the pin placement!

Here are the two cross stitch pictures that my mom did, that I had framed.

The silver frame on this picture isn't as washed out as it looks here.

The black mat on this picture is black velvet. In person it's very striking.
