I think that I am finally caught up from yesterday! Exhausting!

I hope that I can keep up with all of you over the next week. It is going to be crazy and I am starting to feel overwhelmed. DH is back from his trip but needs to leave again on Sunday and won't be home until Friday! DD starts school plus all of our other activities.

I haven't started packing yet but have the suitcases out along with my Excel spreadsheet / packing list.

What is everyone doing about the "themed" days?

Day 1-"Day of Nostalgia" - Easy enough...I have black and white.
Day 2-"Day of Adventure"-pirate themed attire will fit right in. I'm working on this.
Day 3-"Day of Fantasy" - I have no ideas! What is everyone else doing?

Chocolate--white, milk, or dark dark

Toilet paper - however it ends up..I'm not picky :teeth:

Treats--sweet or salty? Either, depending on my mood

Pop or soda? Pop

DVC points--bank or borrow? a little of both

Now that we know some of the special guests onboard, Who are you most looking forward to seeing on the cruise? I'm just looking foward to the whole experience !!!

Nezy...I was getting caught up on my reading when I saw your post....It blew me away. I have skated with the Rangers, the same ones you skated with. (Nick Fotio was my girls favorite hockey player) I am from Yonkers too. When we left Yonkers we moved to Ballston Lake , and then to Clifton Park also. I'm looking over my shoulder right now expecting to see Rod Serling. This must be the twilight zone.
:rotfl2: It was not i who skated w/ Ron Dugauy! Mine was the response on the bottom, that DH is from Yonkers-Crestwood.

I have been to RYE where the Rangers skate, but I have 2 left feet on skates! So funny.

Wow - only 4 pages to read since I went to work this morning. Slowing down guys?:rotfl2:

We don't have anything planned however my bestfriend lives in Orlando so we may hang out with her. I'm open to suggestions though.

And to catch up on something from last night...

Linda/seaulater and I were referring to a 'diva' we had on the 10 day cruise. This woman brought what to most normal people might be their entire closet along with her. Linda was not joking, it was this mountain of luggage.

And the funny story. At the end of the day at St Maarten, we hadn't cast off yet, and they were separately paging a 'family' and a name over and over on the shipwide speakers. So I and a few others were standing on deck 4 overlooking the dock, waiting for dinner and to see us cast off. Finally they pull the ramp in and are getting ready to leave when this golf cart comes zooming up. Out comes this woman, clutching a handful of those little shopping bags with 'names' on them in each hand. Outfit was more like dinner formal than 'I'm going to the island to shop'. She casually walks over to the still open hatch and just stands there staring at it with this 'you're going to put that ramp out for me' look. They eventually do, but I was sooooo hoping they'd just have cast off and left this person who is so self absorbed. It's not like they don't beat the all aboard time in to you everyplace before you leave the ship. There's huge signs both onboard and at the bottom of the gangway with the posted times we all need to be back by. They also announce it on the shipwide before we dock as well. But not for her, I guess.

She was all "put out" that DCL would leave without her because the shop owners told her we weren't leaving till 7. Yeah......right....

I remember we couldn't walk up and down the stairs between deck 4 and 5 everynight at dinner because she was spread out all over with the photographer with her "gown" for the evening.

Hello, Everyone!

Hope your family get's to feeling better, Amy!:flower:

I have a laminated birth certificate, too - got it in Colorado, but when I got our passports, I requested the other paper types for the passport submission - have never used it as identification before.

Am I one of the Stateroom stops - never received a pm - just checking....

Chocolate – white, milk, or dark? Dark - don't be afraid of the dark!

Toilet Paper – over or under? Over - always and forever!

Treats – Salty or Sweet? Salty

Pop or soda? I always called it pop, but being married to a Nebraskan who always called it soda, I've converted. At restaurants I ask what kinds of soft drinks they have to not confuse them. Tonic? That makes me think of something seasoned people put on their hair! :scared1:

DVC Points – bank or borrow? Borrowed for this trip, but usually bank

I started out being excited about Ducky, then the WDW ambassador, now Chef Gordon, Susan Egan and Art Linkletter (that's everybody, isn't it?) - oy, the choices! Just like in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" - I'm just happy to be here!

Have a good day everybody! Kristi

Are you serious

I bet she didnt have any fun.l...

Michele

Serious....I have probably understated it. Every night she went into the dining room (late seating) and was late. Sat down, ordered her dinner along with Prince Charming's and then they got up, left, spent 30-40 minutes doing pictures on the staircase (while their more than patient server waited for them). Would return about the time when everyone else in the dining room was starting or ending with dessert and then start in with her appetizer. Thank goodness they were on late seating and not the main.

Then after dinner, she would head up to Shutters to spread out ALL HER PICTURES so she could decide which ones to buy.

This went on for 10 days.......no kidding....................

We'll be driving to the port and camping out in the terminal parking lot.

(just kidding)

We've got a hotel near the port. ;)

That lady on the 10 day cruise was on the wrong ship! Mickey and Minnie should of let Donald Duck dine with her every night! :rotfl2:

Chocolate – white, milk, or dark? Milk Chocolate.

Toilet Paper – over or under? Over

Treats – Salty or Sweet? First, I'll take some M & M's and then maybe throw in a couple of salty potato chips at the end. I used to do that when we played cards at night.

Pop or soda? I just say "DIET COKE" all the time.

DVC Points – bank or borrow? Well, banked for a long time, but then took the whole family on the Christmas Cruise, so had to borrow for the SS Member Cruise, but we are just about back to our use year, so we're good. I just think we need to add on more points (we have 400 each year)

Now that we know some of the special guests onboard, Who are you most looking forward to seeing on the cruise? Everyone, along with reunited with my disfriends and meeting our new disfriends!
