Happy Anniversary, Lisa & Damon!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Many, many more years to come. :cool1: :cool1:

Just what does he know about us? Has he ever read here? :rotfl2:

Thanks!

Hmmm... he has a Dis Name, but he rarely posts... I know that he knows this thread exists, since I've been living on it, :rotfl2: , but I don't know if he's actually reading it... We do talk about it a fair amount though, and he knows to be very afraid, and that there is some wierd woman out there who actually thought we have a real stuffed goat hanging from the chandelier in the dining room. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

DAMON, ARE YOU READING THIS??? :rotfl:

They were a bit hard to write in the future though....Before he ever left I was writing things like "I can't believe you're heading home today!" He had no idea he was getting them until I presented the whole pack to him the day he was leaving. :)

I think that was the hardest part. I'd write funny notes though, and put them in a book or something that said things like "OMG! He reads!" There would be serious ones too. I really mixed them up. I don't remember how long it took me to write them, but it was a while. Completely worth it for his reaction though!

Ummm, is it too late to unlink our dining. And, maybe change to second seating. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'll just deny knowing anything about that goat of yours! ;)

OK I think I'm cought up now! :flower:

Hello! Thanks everybody for being quiet for awhile so I could catch up this morning on my pajama day!

What does TOP mean again? I was thinking top of page, but that's not making sense to me (especially when it looks in the middle to me!)

On the getting to know you question - I can't think of one event that I would change. There's a lot of regrets I've had and have had to move past. There's lots of things during the time they were happening that I thought were the worst things in the world and how can I ever overcome that. But, with age (gulp!) comes a little more acceptance that God was and is in control and the things and events I thought would make me happy weren't his plan. So philosophical on my day off!

On the fluffy question - I, have to be a copycat on all that. The twilight zone portion of this cruise just gives me goosebumps every time I read the boards! The new friends I've made and our similiarities is so cool. The tips I've learned and questions answered are one of my favorite things about this cruise, too.:flower:

Congratulations, Lisa on 18-23 years (gosh! that just sounded like I was handing down a sentence from a judge in court:rotfl2: )! Happy Anniversary!

Kristi

Where did everyone go? :confused3

Gee, I'm out with the kids playing in the yard, come in, put them down for a nap, get caught up and everyone disappears. I thought for certain I'd have another several pages to read when I checked back in.

Must be time for another GTKYFC questions. Does anyone have any?

13 days, 13 days, 13 days!!! :jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1:

I was thinking the same thing Cindy, I was out for a bit and thought I'd have pages and pages to catch up on.

Leaving in a bit for dd's soccer practice - I'm expecting to have alot of pages to read when I get back.

Post, Post, Post if we're going to make it to 10,000!!!!!

My DH is the same way. He has a DIS name. He did post on this thread a few times. He has read some too, but he says that he can't keep up with all of our chattiness. But, he knows lots about you guys, and he can't wait for the cruise too.

I was taking our newfound friend to the shelter. :cat: Showed up Friday as skinny as a rail. So I gave him food....WRONG! Now he's been making a pest of himself and denying our outdoor kitty any access to his own food! I took him there and they said they were full, and they could take him, but they'd have to euthanize him immediately. He's very friendly, declawed, neutered....just a bit thin....although not nearly as thin as he was Friday...looks like a Maine Coon cat.

Here he is....although the picture doesn't do him justice....I couldn't get away from him enough to take a good side shot...he kept wanting to be pet!

We had TMobile and switched a year ago. My DH travels for work and was having a hard time getting service in all areas. I would try and call TMobile.

Thanks Jenny! There service has actually improved in the 2 + years I have had their phone. Technically it should not work in Iowa where my family lives but it does and it worked in Jamaica last year which was a blessing and a curse. I'll give them a call.

He's so cute and since he's declawed he has to be someone's cat! Poor Kitty :paw: :paw:

I thought the same thing. I went to pick Emily up from school, and we had to go to the dance store to get her a leotard, tights & shoes for her 1st ballet/gymnastics class that starts tomorrow after school. I thought for sure that I would have fun reading TONS of pages.

Ok, I have a GTKYFC question.

Since so many of us would love to work for Disney, tell me that ONE job that you think would be the coolest job at WDW. The one that if there were no restrictions (age, size, etc) that you would want to do.

Oooohhh, he so cute!!! Too bad you don't live closer, my mom would take him in, in an instant. He does look like a maine coon cat. We had one that looks just like that. Her name was Ali, because we found her as a stray (thus the DIS name, alikat). We had to put her to sleep a few years ago, and it just devastated my mom. She's wanted a maine coon since.

Hmmm... this requires a lot of thought... I guess if I could only have one job, it would be as a Guest Relations Manager in MK. I'd get to interact w/ guests, travel throughout the park, go backstage, work special events and give tours on occassions... basically I could have my fingers in lots of different MK pies, which means I wouldn't have to choose just one job!! :teeth:

I'm glad you guys slowed down or I'd never be able to catch up!

We stopped at Walmart where my sister picked out 2 pairs of blinkies for herself. I guess I am now "cool" because blinkies were really cool to her. Not bad for the old lady I think I am.

Now I have to climb in the attic (YUCK) and dig out my Mickey Santa hats. I can't possible tell DH what I'm looking for because he'll have me institutionalized for sure! :rotfl: I think the girls would look great in them on the beach in our Christmas cards!!

Oh and Fred--I got home from Walmart to find a Wild Turkey on my front porch. When I freaked he flew up on my roof!!!!! :faint: I think he came from your house!!!

We had a bad school day here, so we had to go get a dose of sunshine from the local ice cream parlor. Sam was going through the "new kid in school blues" today. He went from having lots of friends and being pretty popular in his old school, to only having made a couple of friends (he's only been in school 2 weeks).

He was doing great last week. I think part of the problem is that his birthday is this Friday, and he doesn't know enough kids to really have a party. Last year he had a huge "Survivor" blowout birthday party (partly because we knew it was the last year he'd be with his buddies).

We talked it over, and came up with a couple of guys he can invite to go to a movie and grab pizza on Saturday. He doesn't know it, but we're going to do a couple of special things on the cruise. We're celebrating his birthday and his cousin's birthday on the cruise, since their birthdays are one week before and one week after respectively.

He seems to be back to his old self now, and he's knocking out his homework. ::sigh:: This is the part of military life I dislike the most...
