Amy, I have finally taken the lead over you! It took me all this time to catch up/past you.

Catch me if you can. :rotfl2:

I'm just kidding and boosting the post count by 1 more! :teeth:
Ahhh, rub it in, huh?!?!?!?! I see that Diana is not far behind Kay. Come on Diana, post, post, post!!!

I think you both need to set a goal to reach 1000 by cruise time. :teeth:
Oh Mary, somehow I don't think that's going to be a problem for Cindy and I.

You know, after reading everyone's favorite Disney movies, I keep thinking, I can't even just pick 3. To tell you the truth, there are very few Disney movies that I didn't like. I LOVE THEM ALL!!!!

Notice she didn't say 1191 which is Mary's current post count. ;)

Amy, I'll just PM you my thoughts the next couple of weeks, you post them and we're sure to be able to beat Mary that way. :teeth:

Or i could just take a vacation from the thread and not post until we get back.

I like my solution better.

After all, there are still days of "tips of the day" to come and they are really useful! Thanks for doing those.

A somewhat serious question inspired by Cindy getting her documents and being a bit under whelmed by them.

Do you think it is possible to anticipate too much about something (like this cruise) that the reality is a let-down?

Somehow, I think that's the ONLY way that we are going to catch you Mary!!!! :rotfl2:

Gosh, I hope not. But I don't think that's going to happen.

If anything, the let down for us will be when we cruise without it being a member cruise and miss all the extras that we don't realize until then are extras. Make sense? :confused3

I think that there could be, if you really anticipate too much. But, to be honest, any real Disney lover is going to be impressed by DCL. Then, to throw DVC into it too, I think that it's a great combination.

I think that the anticipation of the documents is a let down, because you know that the cruise will be fantastic, but the documents is just a box with documents in it. Nothing really spectacular. Now the cruise, that is SPECTACULAR!!! heck, I got giddy when I saw the Magic for the first time coming over that bridge at Port Canaveral.

Chris said that he would LOVE it if Julie Andrews was on our cruise. Mary Poppins is one of his favorite movies. He said that he thinks that he may still have the original album.

We have the original album. My folks purchased it when the movie came out and played it for us. That way when we saw the movie we could feel like we were a part of the show too! :flower:

Does anyone know of any events on board? For the 14 day Panama Canal cruise, we were able to find out some things before hand and plan our schedules a bit. I'm wondering if we will have a special guest performer :goodvibes

I'm also wondering which dining location we will be in for pirate night... hope it's Parrot Cay...

Yes, I wonder about a LOT of things and try to plan for everything. I guess that's why I'm really ready for a vacation once the vacation comes! :rotfl2:

Off to the dentist to get my tooth fixed... broke it on a bagel over the weekend. Really want it tended to before the cruise. So glad it broke now, and not up at Topsiders! :rotfl:

I wish we knew a little bit more, but I'm ok to be surprised too.

Hope your tooth is bettter. And, you're right, much better that it happened now and not 2 weeks from now.

Better now than on the cruise. I know there are medical facilities on board. Is there dental also? Just curious.

We stopped at Walmart where my sister picked out 2 pairs of blinkies for herself. I guess I am now "cool" because blinkies were really cool to her. Not bad for the old lady I think I am.

IF DS knew what you did in college, she would think you are cool!!

Now I have to climb in the attic (YUCK) and dig out my Mickey Santa hats. I can't possible tell DH what I'm looking for because he'll have me institutionalized for sure! :rotfl: I think the girls would look great in them on the beach in our Christmas cards!!

The less he knows the better, at least for me. DH thinks I am already over the top w/ all of this Disney stuff. But he does enjoy the ride!

Oh and Fred--I got home from Walmart to find a Wild Turkey on my front porch. When I freaked he flew up on my roof!!!!! :faint: I think he came from your house!!![/QUOTE]

I had a family of Wild Turkeys in the yard the other day. 2 little ones could not hop over the fence. It was funny watching mom turkey and other 2 kids trying to encourage the others up and over. They never made it, so the other 3 went back over. Never leave a man..uhh..Turkey behind!

Okay, that's 3 of you with turkey's in your yards.

I have to ask, just where do you live? In the middle of the country? The only live turkey's I've ever seen have been on a farm. :rotfl2:

3. Favorite Childhood memory: Going to the beach w/ my dad Graet happy memories-no cares.

and my ancestors from Ireland. Just because I want to know what they were thinking and what they think of the world today.

8. If I could change one thing about myself: I would be more active-physically see 5. above.

DS, Liam, wondered how could Mickey be at WDW, MK etc and on the ship? I told him He took a helicopter back and forth to get to and from the ship. That seemed to work..

We tell them "it's Disney Magic."

DD (11) knows the truth now. I suspect she has for a little while but didn't want to say it outloud for fear someone might confirm it.

I'm undecided if DS (8) believes, again it may be a matter of not wanting to believe it's true. And I surely don't want to ASK and blow it!

Mary, IMHO, this may very well be the WORST idea you've ever come up with. :)
